Purchased a divan base the base boards are extremely crap (thin hardboard). Started bowing within a year so asked for a refund or exchange. The store agreed on a exchange and I was told to go in store. Could not go in for about 8 weeks as I was extremely ill and when I did go in was told nothing on the system. I am disabled I have walking issues, so the manager said email head office and when the reply comes come back in store. 3 weeks no reply so I rang customer service and they said the store manager deals with in store purchases then the got onto the OLDHAM branch and I was told my divan has been replaced 2-3 times already. So now I have to go back in store & speak to the manager again. The amount of times going back & forward I’m just fed up. I think it’s time to contact the ombudsman. Avoid this store like the plague.
Ordered furniture! They said delivery time on week, however needed to wait little bit longer and then the delivery was wrong(not complete) so another week in waiting.
I recently purchased a product from JYSK and paid extra for delivery, but the experience has been terrible. The package was delayed multiple times, and when delivery day finally came, PostNL informed me they couldn't deliver it because it was "too heavy." Instead, I was told to pick it up from a post office 1 km away. This is highly unprofessional and inconvenient. I strongly advise reconsidering your partnership with PostNL, as it reflects poorly on your business. Potential customers, be warned: large items may not be delivered to your door despite paying for delivery.
We were in Amsterdan Noord. Dan was helping us with the purchasing of our furniture. He was super hospitable and service oriented! He even helped us with putting the boxes in our car! I paid for a table and chairs in the Hague store, was not delivered on the promised day, they don't answer the phone and the customer service has no idea. What a joke.
Called jysk to see if they had queen size mattress topper. Was told they have the 4" thick one in stock that I was looking for. Drove across town to pick it up. Got home to find it was less than 2" thick. Had to drive back and exchange it after speaking to the same insincere, apathetic jysk employee who originally gave the wrong information. He really didn't seem to give a damn. Terrible customer service
I was at Jysk in Orleans. I brought the bench brought it home and attempted to assemble it. I had misery assembling it. I went back to the store with the bench semi assembled and Alex on of the representative gladly put it together for me. He did at no charge. He is a kind and considerate person. Thank you Alex. We purchased a Anholt kitchen cart yesterday from the store in Lethbridge and Cassie was awesome! We purchased the floor model and she wrapped it in plastic wrap so that it would damaged transporting it home as we came from out of town. Anytime that we have gone to this store, we always receive EXCELLENT service!!! A few months ago, we purchased a bathroom cabinet also a floor display and also received awesome service from Kevin!!!!

I've bought items since 29 June and until now nothing arrived yet!! The funny thing is that I was called by the staff lady to confirm the readiness of the items and that would be delivered last friday and even got a confirming sms but then all of a sudden on the day of delivery she calls back again to inform me that the order is still not complete and that another week to wait still!!! Bought a bookshelf for my room since the one we wanted at ikea was out of stock and when I was building it it completely fell apart, wouldn’t stay together and the back piece was cut at an angle and didn’t fit properly. I’m utterly disappointed and won’t be buying at jysk again
Bought a mattress and they delivered the wrong size. When talking to customer service (through the web, the phone doesnt work) they said the could exchange it 5 days from the actual delivery, they could not move that date foward. Web says 3-5 business day delivery, but if they get it wrong dont expect what you bought to be respected or have any value, since they're gonna send your actual purchase when they want to.
Had a 3m x 4m gazebo from Jysk that we received as a gift that had never been taken out of the box. It was stored inside in a dry place. After several years finally got around to setting it up as a shelter over a softtub we just set up. First rainfall discovered it must only be designed as shade. It is about as waterproof as a screen door. Unfortunately not the first bad experience with Jysk quality. At least we didn't pay anything for it
Don't buy their patio furniture. You get what you pay for! Their customer service told me that their furniture must be replaced as it expected that parts become damaged. Their furniture won't last a year or 2 even if its stored under a gazebo and in a shed for winter (so its really a terrible deal your getting!)
They delivered a damaged door for the wardrobe and I asked them about the replacement. I've already been waiting for the replacement for almost 1,5 months. I contacted their customer support and shop 9 times. I still have not received the replacement and even don't know the date of the delivery.
I am extremely impressed with the Assistant Manager at Jysk. His name is Ethan and he should be recognized for his diligence and hard work. It has been several years since I can say I have received outstanding customer service. Ethan is a great example of how customer service should be conducted in the retail world. I had a huge problem and he went way above and beyond to assist and rectify the situation. I live a couple of hours away from the Shoppers World location in Brampton but I will surely continue doing my shopping there simply because of the outstanding customer service. Ethan is a true asset and a gem to JYSK. Thank you again Ethan!
I love the Jysk store in Kamloops and used to shop there all the time but now I refuse because of Kaylee in furniture who is horrible to deal with and always there being rude to customers and the manger keeps covering for her and I see others noticing this too. Get rid of her and we'd all come back and spend our money there.
I bought some products that were on an online offer (with delivery). They delayed the delivery for days despite me writing emails and asking when would they send the package. They kept delaying the delivery until the campaign was over and the products were no longer on offer and couldn't be ordered online (just click and collect). Then they wrote me an email "sorry, due to the delayed delivery, the products are no longer in stock".
Everything you buy is super expensive and not worth it. Even at 70% discount it's not worth it to buy something at 499 and then a year later replace it. The foam quality of my sofa was so bad, less than a year later purchase I'm thinking of throwing it away. The cupboard that I bought from them is missing some screws. I had to make do with something to put all shelves together. The tv furniture I ordered, came first time broken. Returned it. The second in its place arrived without the shelves handle. No response also from customer service or the winkel medewerkers. I will think twice in future to waste my money on their products.
