joujou.com.au Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives joujou.com.au a pretty low trust score on the platform: 15.3. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 15.3 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to joujou.com.au's industry. The algorithm flagged its seemingly suspicious success, even with a newly registered domain. It also detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning joujou.com.au, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between joujou.com.au and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of joujou.com.au. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of joujou.com.au, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. joujou.com.au is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

I recently bought a $300 toy which broken on the first use. JouJou is demanding I go to a post office and mail the toy back to them when the fact that is doesn't work is very evident on video. The fact that such an expensive toy broke first time is one thing but to expect people to take more time out to go mail a broken used sex toy back is a joke.
Been waiting over 2wks for my order to ship..They say 7 - 25 days to ship do to international triad witch was never disclosed when the order was put in..Very disappointed in there service and will be the last time I do business with this so called company.
Quick delivery. Product as expected. Thought I'd post a review as I didn't read reviews until after I ordered and got a bit worried but I had a perfect experience! Would order from them again without hesitation.
Absolutely unprofessional! Paid $700 For goodies , all items arrived in a satchel very badly packed . Postage 8 days, wanted to buy another missing items from collection and claim rewards points $50 , send 3 emails to get voucher for points , No respond ! Called number from website, voicemail ! Well that how they will lose customers, will not spend a dollar there. Already got another shop LOVEHANEY . First order arrived in 2 days and customer service is outstanding ! Never buy from JOU JOU ! That is only One Stop Shop !!!
Was very wary when ordering- I've read mang reviews stating that items were missing from their packages or the boxes were broken and everyone could see into them. Just to ensure my privacy, I shot them a customer service message asking for absolute discretion. They got back to me within 48 hours and reassured me that they care about privacy and have changed their packaging. Received all ordered items discretely, I would order again.
Both my partner & I purchased 2 items from this seller and both items are not genuine and believe to be copies. Our friends recommended these two toys for us and their packaging have original barcodes when we entered them in to Google though our products had different barcodes all together and when we Googled them they didn't come up at all as being the brands this seller stated that they were.Needless to say that we will never buy from this seller again.
1st purchase with JouJou and they sent the wrong product, offered a 15% discount for an item we don't want. Initially wouldn't accept return because of health/safety. 15% barely covers postage, so I insisted on a refund. They agreed to a refund - THEN emailed to say the amount is less than I paid, and is also a store credit - not a refund. This has taken over two weeks and now I've given up after giving them a chance to make it right. Plenty of other better stores out there, will never return.
Do yourself a favour, avoid them. We ordered 2 items, never received a confirmation order email or tracking number or anything. Only one item arrived, badly packaged and no invoice inside either. Without any news from the other item, we contacted their customer service which noticed us that the product is out of stock (nothing was advertised on the website) and that we'll receive it shortly. After 2 months we still hadn't received it so we contacted them again. So, turns out that the toy ($200) we ordered wasn't even launched in Australia at all, and this is why they were the only website selling it. At a lower price, obviously to make people purchase stuff on their website. So we have the option to wait (no date given) or get a refund with a 15% discount on our next purchase. Sloppy way to advertise a website.
Horrible service don't recommend at all. Stay away from these people irresponsible and they respond whenever they feel like it. No craps given about any customer.
Amazing products. I have been purchasing my "special" toys from here for a while. Easy site to navigate and delivery is never a problem. I love JOUJOU
First order work good get easy thanks. Next order box arrive open and postie laugh see big dildo. Said package was open and bad pack. So i now look like fool. I ask refund they no give. Do not shop here again!
Terrible customer service and poor quality product for the price. Not useable after one use
My product came in broken. I have sent many of emails with no reply from the company. I have demanded to get my money back in these emails in still haven’t heard a thing and it’s been over a month. It took me a month to get the product that was broken.
Bought some horror figures. They were clear fakes. Some were really badly made. Stay away from these scammers.
Amazing products and great, fast service. Have been very happy with all my purchases from JouJou!
Amazing customer service, the product was well packaged and delivered super fast! Highly recommend.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
