johnsonscleaners.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives johnsonscleaners.com a medium trust score on the platform: 63.7. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Small Risk. Standard. Active.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this lower score? We came up with the 63.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to johnsonscleaners.com's industry. The algorithm detected potential activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Small Risk. Standard. Active. tags above. Long story short, please use caution when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning johnsonscleaners.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between johnsonscleaners.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of johnsonscleaners.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of johnsonscleaners.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. johnsonscleaners.com is a somewhat safer website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether johnsonscleaners.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether johnsonscleaners.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, johnsonscleaners.com.

Called up the Chester branch and had the 'pleasure' of dealing with Viv. Asked about insurance, and she basically asked me why I was asking such peculiar questions (didn't realise enquiring about insurance WAS a peculiar question, I'd say it was a totally legitimate one?) and then said she wouldn't want to deal with 'people like me' as any garments coming in were clearly going to end in a problem, it would seem. Literally asking the most BASIC of questions as I have a couple of high-value items I actually wanted dry-cleaning, and you get made to feel like a complete criminal. Rightfully, I complained to their 'Customer Service' about this, and the person I dealt with actually had some common sense, and said she could quite clearly understand why I was asking the question I asked, and didn't see why Viv couldn't just provide me with the actual answer; who knows! Clearly inept and a major lack of training going on, would be my guess! I was then told the 'Area Manager' or similar would call me back. She did actually call me back but all she said was 'she apologised if I felt this way' - I don't feel any way, thanks, I feel exactly the way Viv intends to make potential customers feel; like criminals, like they're a nuisance for calling your business, and so on. I've been dealt with by a ridiculously unprofessional, rude individual, and then even the 'Manager' (don't believe she was a Manager at all, they'd actually have a small amount of manners and etiquette) was nearly as bad as the initial person I dealt with.Clearly your reviews speak volumes, isn't just me with an issue! Will happily be taking my items to a local independent dry-cleaners, where they treat their customers with an ounce of class and respect, thanks!
Johnson's Sandbach. Called in to use the UPS parcel drop off. Nobody front of shop, rang bell 4 times, waited 10 minutes and still nowt. Walked out. God help anyone who has to use the joke of a place for cleaning.AVOID
Took two dresses into a Waitrose branch to be dry cleaned via Johnson’s, both of which were brand new and worn one for a wedding. Upon picking up the dresses and bringing them home I discovered they were completely ruined. One dress, the zip was snapped and marks still on the dress and the other had more marks on the dress then originally sent in with. I am now nearly 2 months on and without either of my dresses or even a refund of dry cleaning charges. Customer service is absolutely appealing! Avoid using Johnson’s dry cleaners at all costs if you would like to keep your dresses!
Took a jacket in as I’d had a problem with an iron on patch that had left a lot of residue on it. I was told that not all of it may come off, and that there may be some discolouration to it, all of which I agreed to and was fine with. I was asked to pay on the spot (£14) which I was happy to do, and received a text the next day to collect. The jacket was returned to me in exactly the same condition without even being washed (if the residue couldn’t come off, I’d at least expect this), and I’m out a decent chunk of change for no reason. The employee did not express that it was a service they could not deliver, and if they were unsure I’d have expected payment on collection once they’d established what they could do. Unimpressed with the service and the staff weren’t welcoming.
Awful- destroyed buttons on my shearling coat and, on top of it, was rude ans nasty. Look for better cleaners somewhere else
What a miserable woman works at Altrincham Waitrose branch of Johnson On more than a few occasions has she been rude abrupt and downright intimidating....I only go as I know of nowhere else does hermes returns but after today I will certainly never go again....awful nasty woman terrible customer service
Don’t use this Dry Cleaners. The Wilmslow branch left a red fibre tip pen in the machine from a previous wash (so clearly don’t check or clean between washes) and my white wash is completely ruined. They now refused to compensate me in full despite seeing where the bedding is from. Appalling attitude and customer service from their HQ. Theyve just lost a good customer.
Brand new jacket worn once came back with a pink tinge- took trousers in to show difference (they asked to keep them to show the manager ) they then dry cleaned trousers after me staying not to do so) which came back tinges in pink - (never worn !) suit ruined staff couldn’t care less ! A disgrace ! Unprofessional and rude. West End- Edinburgh..
Ruined my suit jacket and blamed it on moths, took it in for a dry clean it's now unwearable! Went to a few other places and they all agreed that there is no way the damage was caused by moths, it looked more like abrasion. The lady on the desk at the Lancaster branch in Asda agreed that it was in perfect condition and moths wouldn't of caused the damage! After a 3 week wait for the investigation, I'm told there's nothing they will do. The blazer was only 6 months old, was always kept in a sealed bag and has only been worn twice! Absolutely disgusted with this place, will never use them again! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
I took my expensive White Company bedding to Johnsons to be laundered as I have had a shoulder operation and wanted them ironed which I thought would be great. BIG MISTAKE. The lady in the shop was very helpful though and I paid for my Priority Club membership to renewed as well £26 altogether. On their return my bedding was grey and stank of some sort of fabric starch. I have had to rewash them twice and they still smell of this stuff. Admittedly ironing the the bedding is a challenge but that's why I took them but they could have cleaned them and even used a waterspray (like I do). I can't be bothered to contact them as they won't accept responsibilty they cost £500! Memo to self NEVER have white sheets cleaned at this company.
Wasted 2 months waiting for 2 zips to be done only to be told today that they cannot do it. That is after it was returned after 2weeks with nothing done, a refund given and promised the job would be done as a gesture of goodwill.
Breathtakingly expensive. Took curtains from house we're moving into for dry cleaning. Cost nearly £300. By the time I was told the price the curtains had been taken away so I could hardly say no. I complained to their head office, just to make sure a mistake hadn't been made, and was told they'd look into it. Nobody bothered to phone me back. Few things in life are certain but here's one: I will not be going to a Jonsons again.
Took my winter quilt into the Manchester Rd branch in Bolton to be cleaned. Result was breathtakingly bad. Full of lumps where all the filling has clumped together and it aint a cheapo...paid a lot for it to compliment my new bed. Will never set foot in the place again!
I have Emailed them asking for advice on a particular cleaning job. Last Friday Oct 26th.Should be simple . To date nothing,Don't think I.ll Bother
DO NOT USE THIS DRY CLEANERS!! I went to Waitrose Dorking to drop off a brand new dress worth £170 and a two piece suit with evening shirt worth £220 for dry cleaning by Johnson’s, Horsham. The suit and dress hadn’t been worn. When I got them both back I discovered the edging of the dress (which had a multiple layered skirt) was creased and the suit and shirt had huge creases along the sleeves and some of the stitching had come lose. I was very disappointed and decided to ring Johnson’s Horsham to complain about the service. I spoke to a manager named David. I explained what had happened and he told me that, in regards to the dress, if I wanted it repleated, I should have requested this service when I dropped them off. I reiterated to him that it was a brand new dress and didn’t require “repleating”. He replied that this can happen as a result of the dry cleaning process after it has been put through the machine. To this I replied that the dress should be brought back in the same condition that it was brought in and I should not expect this level of service when I am paying good money for it. We then got onto talking about the issue of the suit. David said that the reason for this may have been how the clothes were placed on the rail when they get delivered to Waitrose by the driver. I said surely you ought to be making sure that it goes on there properly and not squashed up. He then went on to telling me that when the driver doesn’t have enough sacks for the clothes he THROWS THE DRY CLEANING ON THE FLOOR. I was shocked to hear this, and told David that I’m sure that your customers would be outraged to hear their garments are being thrown on the floor, especially as they are paying a lot of money. I was extremely disappointed and won’t be using this cleaning service ever again.
On Monday 18 November at the Downham Market branch, Elizabeth had three customers waiting (all with slightly abnormal orders) and coped reasonably well but efficiently with all, although the elderly lady leaving two curtains was concerned about the cost. Elizabeth did not mention Priority Club which probably would have saved her money overall, so I did as she left the shop.
I took a leather motorbike jacket to them as they seem to offer a really good service with 2 levels of cleaning. The jacket was fine but a bit musty from being stored somewhere. I was told it would probably take a week which was fine. But then a week later I got a call saying that I should have been told that there was a risk the product might shrink (bare in mind it is heavy leather....). I asked why they had waited a week to call me as I was expecting it to be back by then..... A week later it arrived. Basically in the same state / smell, but I did get a free coat hanger and a cheap plastic cover. I would have thought with All of Johnsons technology and dry cleaning skills it would have been like new, especially with the cost of such a service. The people in the shop were very helpful and attentive.
JULY 2016 BLAZER SENT TO JOHNSONS TO BE DRY CLEANED BY JANET – UPON COLLECTION I REALISED THAT THE BLAZER WAS DISCOLOURED AND STAINED AND NO LONER MATCHED THE SHORTS. I WENT BACK TO SEE JANET STARIGHT AWAY AND ADVISED I WAS LEAVING FOR A CONFERENCE IN DUBAI THE NEXT DAY AND NEEDED IT RECTIFIED BACK TO ORGINAL COLOUR AS THIS WAS A VERY IMPIRTANT CONFERENCE. SHE SAID SHE WOULD PUT I BACK THROUGH THE DRY CLEANING PROCESS AGAIN. I WENT BACK TO JOHNSONS THAT VERY SAME DAY AROUND 120 MINS LATER WITH THE SHORTS AND THE MATTER HAD NOT BEEN RECTIFIED THE BLAZER WAS STILL DISCOLOURED AND THIS TIME SHE TOLD ME SHE HAD ALSO PUT IT THROUGH THE WASHING MACHINE TO MY HORROR. SHE HADNT ASKED ME BEFORE SHE DID THIS. VERY UPSET AT THE TME I ASKED HER I NEEDED THIS RESOLVED TO WHICH SHE THEN SAID SHE NEED TO SEND THE BLAZER OFF FOR TESTING BUT COULD SEE THE BLAZER NO LONGER MATCHED THE SHORTS AND COULD SEE IT WAS ALSO STAINED, SHE ADVISED IF IT WAS HER FAULT SHE WOULD ORGANISE COMPENSATION OF THE FULL SUIT AND HAVE A CHEQUE SENT OUT TO ME. A FEW DAYS LATER I RECEIVED A CALL FROM HER WHILST IN DUBAI WHERE SHE ADVISED THE BLAZER HAD COME BACK FROM TESTING IT WAS HER FAULT SHE ACCEPTED LIABILITY AND TOOK DETAILS OFF HOW MUCH THE SUIT WAS ETC TO COMPENSATE ME 9 MONTHS LATER THE MATTER HASN’T BEEN RESOLVED IM YET TO RECEIVE A CALL FROM HER NEVERMIND A CHEQUE !! MY BLAZER IS STILL AT THE BRANCH IN ROCHDALE WHERE I RECENTLY SPOKE TO THE ASSISTANT MANAGER WHO WAS SHOCKED AT THE CONDUCT. IM VERY UPSET WITH THE WAY THIS HAS BEEN DEALT WITH AND WOULD LIKE A CHEQUE FOR THE VALUE OF MY GARMENTS WHICH HAVE BEEN RUINED BY JANET AT JOHNSONS. PLEASE SEE THE LABEL ON THE BLAZER AND HAVE A LOOK AT THE WEBSITE WHICH WILL GIVE YOU AN IDICATION OF HOW MUCH A TWO PIECE SUIT IS FROM THERE, I AM APPALED AT THE DUTY OF CARE SHOWN TO ME BY CUSTOMER SERVICES AND JANET IN THIS INSTANCE AND HOW LONG THIS HAS TAKEN TO RESOLVE AND CAN CATEGORICALLY STATE THAT I WILL NEVER USE JOHNSONS AGAIN. I WILL ALSO ADVISE ALL FAMILY AND FRIENDS AS TO WHAT HAS HAPPENED HERE. ITS NOW BEEN 18 MONTHS SINCE I PURCHASED THE BLAZER AND I HAVE NO RECIEPT OF THIS HOWEVER PLEASE CROSS CHECK THE VALUE BY LOOKING AT THE WEBSITE
We used Johnsons on Leeds Road Harrogate today - we needed a rush job under very difficult circumstances, my wife's dad having just died. The young lady in the shop could not have been more helpful and sympathetic. She went out of her way to turn the dry cleaning around within hours and made a difficult day so much easier with her kind and caring approach. Thank you - I wish that there were more people like you out there.
We have been dealing with Johnsons The Cleaners for very many years and have always been entirely satisfied. This past week we were in the shop on Leeds Road in Harrogate where we were served by a delightful young lady who was courteous, happy in her work and extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend Johnstons The Cleaners as the one to use for all your cleaning needs, a first class experience.Susan and Malcolm.Harrogate.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
