I received a voicemail message from someone representing the “jmlegalteam” who said that they were a collection agency. They didn’t identify how much I supposedly owed or to whom, but I don’t have any indebtedness so they are very likely a SCAM!!!
I also received an unsolicited voicemail too.
I have received multiple calls/voicemails from someone representing \"JM legal team\" as well. My brother has received calls for me as well. They spoof phone numbers, and have selected a name very similar to J&M Legal group and J&M attorneys at Law. Multiple consumers have complained about them trying to collect fraudulent and/or time barred debt. Because they do not have an address, my complaints to the FTC, BBB and Consumer Credit Bureau have come back as \"unable to locate\" the business. I feel for people who fall for these scammers.

Twice today 21st of October I received calls from a number from Norton Ks. I was at work so pushed it to voice mail. I received a call from J&M legal stating a debt owed under my maiden name. I called them and they said 934.11 was owed on a credit card and wanted to settle the account with two payments of 238 each. They told me they sent me a letter but I never received it and that they were going to garnish my wages and I would have to pay legal fees. I have been Celesia Anthony for 20+years. I hung up on them and wish I would have checked here before calling them. I gave them no information except my date of birth and last four numbers of my social. Probably too much information
Called me today, a real nitwit. Phone number he said to call him back on was 150-542-05785 -one digit to many. Also, there is no area code 150. Another gang of jerks trying to scam everyone out of money. They need to be locked up.
I don\'t believe they are legitimate. I\'ve been receiving calls for months from different numbers multiple times a day. they\'ve also called some of my family members. I did speak with someone once and they told me it was for a credit card from 2006. that is a time barred debt. they\'ve never once sent me anything in the mail.

I have received several voicemails from the JM Legal Team in reference to taking immediate action on a Chase debt that they say I owe, but I do not have an open Chase account, so I owe them nothing. I went to the sight and the first thing they ask is for the phone number that I was contacted at in order for them to locate my information. I did not give them my number, nor did I sign in to their website. Too many red flags, so I looked them up which brought me here, where I found the JM legal Team to most likely be a scam.
I reported them to the FTC. Have called multiple times about a debt I never had from 2015. Funny thing is address they had for this debt had not been used since 2006.SCAM- beware- keeps threatening legal action.They are now trying to send me legal papers. They don\'t have my address, Huge scam.
