I found this site by Googling review for Jack and Jill offers. I have probably been scammed, also. I am disputing the $29.99 charge for a membership that is hidden on their payment page. Apparently if you \"take advantage\" of their purchase offer, you are automatically signed up for their VIP membership at $29.99/mth. The phone numbers associated with cancelling the membership and / or the site in general both say the numbers are no longer in service. The charge was made on my Discover card, and the customer service people at Discover insisted I call the vendor to question the charge before issuing a dispute. I have not received the item I ordered from them, but the shipping terms say shipping time is 5-18 business days - I have not reached the 18th business day yet. I don\'t usually purchase from sites like these that pop up on FB, and I will certainly ignore all such sites in the future.
I am disputing a membership charge that I did not authorize. My package has yet to arrive but should have been here. Received an email saying it has shipped. The email response to my cancerequest reads like an autoscript as it does not address my concerns, even though they understand my concern. Summary: 1 authorized transaction 1 unauthorized transaction being disputed Chose for package tracking that is useless, including shipping insurance. Order cannot be found in their system. Conclusion: Scammers actually got over on me.
They keep taking my money. No merchandise
I too was scammed by this site. This was the time I didn\'t verify the site. When I placed an order, they automatically signed me up for a VIP membership which I didn\'t authorize. They started charging me the 29.99 monthly and it is impossible to get in touch with them. My bank tried to reach out to them, but they insisted I signed up for the membership. I was told my bank had no chargeback rights because the bank does not arbitrate contract disputes. I was not too happy with that response, either. My next stop is the BBB. Please, please don\'t order from this site. Oh, by the way I eventually received my order, but it was in January, and I placed my order in November.
Jil and Jak have been taking 29.99 a month for several months for a membership I did not sign up for. Big scam!
