Smashed package, packed like crap, not even in antistatics but regular plastic baggies, the sensor kit was supposed to be in a sectioned case but is free floating in a plastic bag, they spend more on advertising than the actual gear and charge your 5x the hardware costs. avoid! just buy them yourselfs, the code exists on the web, this company is terrible~!
Lost in space kit was bought for our kids for Christmas. Still at lesson 1 as the instructions/videos are fast and a bit vague. On Chrome OS the board has to be disconnected/reconnected with every upload. Didn’t work at all with windows. Turned out to be the biggest disappointment for Christmas rather than a new learning opportunity for our kid who has really gotten in to coding. Save your money and just let your kid download Scratch.
While this kit has great promise I don't find the lessons detailed enough to do even the first few lessons without significant prior knowledge. I bought this for my 12 year old, but am struggling on my own.The 25 minute videos have good knowledge, but are slow and fail to hold even my attention. Following the steps for Day 3 is not giving the desired results, and attempting to leave feedback says I'm leaving duplicate response.
Really great kit. Lots of varied components from very basic resistors, LEDs, breadboard etc right up to 7-segment display, OLED screen and 4x4 keyboard.Coding lessons were fun, I really felt I got to grasps with the basics of coding in C. Alex's videos were generally very good at taking you through the steps involved and logic behind each program.
The Adventure Kit: 30 Days Lost in Space from InventrKits has been a lot of fun! While there are some slightly rough edges, it is a one-of-a-kind approach to learning electronics and Arduino programming. I've been worth with my middle-school-aged nephew on it via video call and we've been having a lot of fun! The community built around InventrKit products is friendly, as well, and there are many people who offer up helpful advice or even creative motivation to beginners and novices.
The product is pretty cool, but just because I order something from you doesnt mean you just add me to a damn mailing list. I unsubscribed, then when I signed up for the required account, I got added back on the mailing list! I will not continue to do business with companies that add me to lists without my EXPLICIT consent.
Despite some early issues with delivery to the uk (swiftly resolved by amazing Customer Service), I can highly recommend this course. 30 day/daily broadcasts format really help to maintain motivation, and first programming course that didn’t bore me to death with starting with ton of theory before you actually do something. First time you make LED Blink or buzzer beep is oddly satisfying. Keep up the good work team and all the best!

Great kit and training videos with fun spaceship theme. A couple suggestions for improvement: provide/ sell a weighted base to arrange and hold the Hero and the breadboard. On a related note, use a thinner/more flexible USB cable. These changes would make the wiring and testing more enjoyable. There have been a couple times that the act of untwisting and connecting USB jostled the hero/breadboard/wires and caused a disconnect.
I am so happy with my 30 day Lost in space kit. I have learned so much in the first fifteen days and can’t wait for each new task. The creative days (every fifth day) have really inspired me to come up with my own ideas and project creations. The instructor is fantastic! He explains everything in detail and brings real life experience along with some SyFi fun to boot. I look forward to expanding my knowledge now that I am retired.
Made me fall back in love with electronics.I got a 'lost in space' kit to try out with my little brother. The sessions are really simple to follow, my brother is enjoying making circuits and coding. I am also loving it as I haven't done something like this in years. The equipment in the kits is impressive and good quality, you can tell each item has been thoughtfully included.Delivery was also very good and fast considering it was being shipped across the Atlantic.
The 30 Days Lost In Space kit is a pretty fun starter kit for the price. The lessons contain some interesting instruction, though I think they leave much to be desired in terms of scripting, sound balancing, and video editing -- they seem to have been done in one take with no script, which implies certainly no editing. Checked link again and "final" address appears to be incorrect. Have been waiting 4 weeks for this parcel and disappointed that I appear to not be receiving it and company not interested in resolving. Was meant to be a gift for a college lecturer who I'm sure would have purchased more for his class if suitable.I have replied to your email, in fact I've sent you 3 emails (22/23/25th Jan) and 2 contact forms (24th/26th Jan). When I first saw this kit, it looked promising and fun, but the kit took over 6 weeks to arrive. Once it did arrive, the kit was missing multiple parts including the LEDs, the piezo buzzer and the dip switch. The instructions for getting started on the curriculum are also extremely unclear. I spent well over 3 hours trying to learn how to install drivers on my pc. I would strongly recommend not buying this product.
Great starter kit The 30 days adventure is fun and engaging and provided for many hours of great father-son activities. The only aspects that left something to be desired where some of the videos which could do with some more editing and refining. Also, some of the explanations and code examples provided required some more googling in order to get everything working. However, the overall experience was great and we learned a lot and got much inspiration for further projects!

The tutorials are well written and work fine. the progression (so far) has worked well for me. I'm an adult entering this hobby, so the dry presentation is ok. however, were I a 12-year-old just thinking about electronics, the lack of a developed story line would drive me away. the story line is there but frankly you need an actor. you need a person who thru voice and visual content encourages the "astronaut" to fix their craft or they might die! build a little tension! so my recomendation is that the program is great BUT you need a script writer and an actor to perform the teacher role.

I have bought kits from inventr.io that are good. It is a small startup selling educational kits. They are small staffed and have some bugs in their classes but are improving constantly. They have a very active Facebook community who also provide mutual support and support to newbies. I cannot tell about the potential risks you mention in their website etc. But I think they need to be encouraged and will benefit from feedback.
