We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 80.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to indigocard.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Fair. Valid. Known. tags above. Long story short, we deemed this a known website, with a low scam probability. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning indigocard.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between indigocard.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of indigocard.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of indigocard.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. indigocard.com is an innocuous suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether indigocard.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether indigocard.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, indigocard.com.

I am happy to have an additional credit card that I do not need.Indigo took a chance with my fico 600 score and set a credit limit of $500 then allowed me to go over by another $500 for a total of yes $1000 It's an expensive card to have because of the fees, but I like having the additional credit!I hope to make all my payments over the min amount to pay off faster and get a 700 in the future!
The company lies on when your money will post then when you call them bad customer service.
This is by far the worst business I’ve ever dealt with. They have taken more money in fees than any other card company I’ve ever used. After I paid off my $300 credit in full, they decided to freeze my account for 14 days, supposedly to ensure the payment cleared, even though I’ve had the card for many years and have never had a payment not clear. The payment cleared in just three days.Businesses like this make me sick, and I believe the founders deserve to be jailed for life.
I’m traveling outside the country and failed to notify indigo of my plans and my card was frozen. I received an email to confirm if the transaction was me or not and to call the fraud department. I called customer service and confirmed the transaction with the representative, who then proceeded to ask me about my travel dates. Once confirmed I asked the rep to PLEASE reinstate my current card and she said yes it’ll be active again for usage. I tried using it today and noticed that the card number ended differently. I called indigo and was told by a different rep that a new card was sent. There is nothing that can be done to cancel the new one and reinstate my old. Completely unacceptable as it was never disclosed to me that a new card would be mailed out. Rather was ASSURED the same card will remain active.
Upon my credit going on I figured time for a reasonable credit card and I’ve received an offer thru Indigo card! Applied approved card came 2 days ago. Called activated card to go looking online at account and it says na for everything. And it had a number for me to contact. Called, to be told there’s a block so I would need to provide an ID thru fax …. Already provided social, address and a faxed ID. It was delivered but they say it will take XO amount of days before they could collect the fax!!! I told her I know calls are recorded and I don’t feel safe with my personal information just out there and here lies a credit card I cannot use or access to just close the account, I am sorry that kind of hassle isn’t worth Do not bother with this company they’ll collect all your personal information for nothing
The worse credit card i ever had, charge fees with not even ever used. Not open this scam credit card...really sucks!
This company is a scam. They'll approve you, charge you the fee then shut the card off after first use with an excuse they need to check your id. It takes 5-7 business days for them to check it AFTER you mail it or fax it. Who knows what they say after that. I just told them to close the account. Horrible company and the people in "customer service" are rude. Stay FAR away!
Indigo credit card company has a horrendous record and really bad reviews. But, i decided to see for myself what they are like. Well, they told me i was preapproved. Then they declined my official application. I do not have sufficient student loan history ! Is that even a real requirement ? Do not have sufficient credit card payment history. Well, that is why i applied for this supposed substandard (poor credit) company. Turns out they are nothing more than scammers and predators!
The card is okay if you pay the full balance every month, yet you still need to pay the annual fee. The interest rates are exorbitant. I used the card for more than four years, paying the total balance each month. Despite this, the interest rate still increased without any credit limit increase. It's better to get Credit One or a secured card that you fund with your own money and pay off monthly. It's not a good card at all.
Seems pretty ridiculous that if I’m paying my card off with every payment that it now takes 14 calendar days to be reflected in my credit balance. The person I spoke to answered the phone in Spanish when I requested a supervisor and had a very thick accent I couldn’t hear 1/2 of what she said and she was clearly outside I could hear the traffic driving by. It was just easier to close the count then keep dealing with them and the embarrassment of pulling out a credit card designed by a 3 year old. The card also took nearly a month to arrive….
They continually send me pre-approved offers then deny me because I have a 204 credit score. However TransUnion, Experian and Equifax say my score is over 700. What a joke this company is
Without question the worst secured credit card you could get. Credit Karma should be ashamed of itself by being associated with this. If you transfer money from your bank it can take more than 2 weeks to be credited to your account. The customer service rep says it's to make sure the payment goes through. It's 2024 why would it take this long? Are they using Pony Express? Can't wait to pay this off and close the account.
This company really sucks. I went to go and withdraw $200 out of the ATM machine. I wasn't aware that I can only pull $100. So it supposedly put a lock on my account. Had to fax on my ID and was told it takes up to 5 days to unlock. Now that are saying that it takes 5 days to review and an additional 5 days to unlock. This company is a total rip off
Over all it’s a terrible card there’s way better starter cards out there. At any random time their computer system wants even if you have never paid from a difference source they will hold the cleared payment for 14 business days. They claim it is to verify the funds but this is false. So you won’t be able to use your card during this time that they have withheld the funds from crediting. This isn’t reflected in your paper statement that they are withholding the funds. They also have very limited and poor customer service that are just reading from a script and can’t actually help with anything outside the script without “managment” help and extremely long hold times. They charge a yearly fee for putting up with their garbage customer service and there’s no rewards or cash back. Over all just a terrible card
This company is NOT a reputable company! I've been with them for one year, and I make my payments. They clearly don't care about their good customers. After a year they notified me that they changed the terms of my card. Sadly the changes were NOT positive changes! They increased my interest rate by 10%, and they want to charge me a monthly fee now. So, beware, they will apparently penalize good credit management with them! That's not really great customer service or appreciation! Avoid them!
In 2024 this company doesn't take debit cards to pay bills and could not verify my checking account. I requested a paper bill and cancelled my card.
Second day in a row different card. First revel now this time it’s my destiny card. They won’t allow me to add my banking information on the app or over the phone. Telling a customer to get another bank account or sending a money gram does not sound like a legitimate option to me. Bank info works for all other cards and transactions. Companies like this should be held accountable and shut down and the banks that subcontract the credit cards out should also be held accountable. This just blows my mind
Weigh out your need for this card. After a bankruptcy, needed a fresh start. Off the bat, 700 credit limit. Paid some bills with it and sent the 679.81 from my bank to the card. 8/7/24. Cleared my bank 8/9/24. Still hasn’t been credit back to my account showing 6 dollars available. 8/20/24 is the date of this writing. Customer could be done by a monkey. They are absolutely horrible. Also sound like the people calling you about your car’s extended warranty. They’re really useless and offer no support or explanation. “The system” automatic deems the hold time for their payment processing. But the 175 I paid off the bat cleared and offered credit 3 days later. If you have to. You have too. I’m not bashing the card itself. You have to start somewhere. But good heavens are the customer service pitty poor and every company needs ti stop out source to India. It’s becoming a problem.
There are some things that I, personally, had "red flags" about (high interest rate/low credit limit/annual fee ALL AT ONCE). HOWEVER... this may become a bit confusing, but if you hang in there, you will understand why I gave them 5 stars:First, (at least the Person that spoke with): OUTSTANDING Customer Service. I called, because I had questions that were not answered "otherwise". One of which was: I know my credit limit. I know my APR on purchases, and cash advances. I have NFCU, Capital One, and Chase Amazon Prime Visa Signature Cards, and have partially used, and paid off the cash advances that I have used. However, before, and in the envelope that the card came in, it listed my credit limit, and cash advance limit (a general rule is 30%, btw).I didn't need to use it, but I NEED TO KNOW... Now, here is where the weird/cool things (at least to me) come in... IN MY WORDS, as a queenonabudget and kingonabudget: I it basically a REAL Credit Card (they DO report to the 'evil credit monitor peeps" :-), that can be used as any MasterCard can be. HOWEVER... the different/weird thing:You can get a cash advance, up to your available balance (don't get it twisted. There are rules). So, basically, it is an combination between a debit card, and expensive credit card. Segway to ANOTHER cool thing/why I talked to their Excellent Customer Service Person:Online, it said that I owed... (my words)... WHAT? When??!? In... It was explained: You don;t owe anything until your MARCH due date.. AND Your statement closing date will always be on this date, and payment date will be the date before that date.. the month after (told you that I might confuse you, but...) My closing date was the 21st of this month, and my payment date is the 20th of March (don't have to worry about whether it is a leap year, or not.He also explained the cash advance stuff. (they will mail you a PIN).I havn't truly tested them on being able to pay my bill, securely, easily, and successfully... YET.. but I believe that they will pass.
Horrible! I just got approved for a $700 credit limit and they charged me $175 for the first year, I been trying to use my card and it keeps declining. For 2 days I couldn't use it, more than 8 representatives from C.S. told me that my card and account was fine. Give it 24 hours etc. And on the 3rd day, my card got blocked for fraud detection. Now I have to fax over my ID. This has been a headache for me. All these representatives are not properly trained well. Such an embarrassment for this company. Don't get this card!!

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen?
