Is imusician.pro Legit?

You gotta know some music industry lore, some greens and reds BEFORE trying to distribute your music yourself. After that, iMusician will take care of you in ways that you don't imagine ever. I got lightning fast and brilliant support about an after-release issue just today. Definitely recommend it.

This company requested a document proving I owned music before they would distribute. After paying $187 to get the documents, this company told me they weren't going to distribute anyways. Then refused to refund the service fee. Cost me $200+ for nothing. Stay away. There are so many other distributors with better customer service who don't try to make you feel like crap just because you are an amateur musician.

First two SP's went really well for sales, putting the label in the top 100 in a particular genre, on a particular big platform/store. Not sure what happened with the last 2 releases, but there seemed to be a slip up as they missed the stores radar. The question remains what happened.I put very specific and easy to follow instructions on my releases. The latest one I requested pre-order asap, and the Pre-order didn't follow through. It was confirmed by a representative a specific date for pre-order and that did not happen. It was pointed out that it was the store/platforms miss. Update : My last 2 releases were selected to be released on Junodownload.com and iMusician unfortunately didn't make that happen. I have records of that store being selected for upload, but both releases were missed for delivery to that store. ......if iMusician missed uploading releases to Junodownload.com who knows what other things they may have missed?Sorry guys, I'm disappointed =(

I'm a long-time subscriber to iMusician. I've never had any problem with them.Sometimes I have questions, but I can get quick answers to them. Especially recently, there have been significant improvements in terms of visuals on the platform. Almost every time I log in, I am greeted with a more advanced and up-to-date interface.Moreover, YouTube and Instagram channels are also very entertaining and informative. I hope they can add more joy to our days with more videos!Thanks to iMusician I can easily distribute my tracks!

We are having issues with a Cover release, we had some missing field but after correcting the Release Issues the submit button still doesn't activate...Updated 23/03Very quick answer. Solution through e-mail exchange. Now all ok

Already spending 60USD to release our first EP.Support is horrible, and unless you pay every time in advance, they basically ignore you.Website has a lot of issues, specially using Firefox.EP is coming out with missing metadata and info we set in the release page, so, double check after releasing something. We are correcting issues for the 3rd time now. i.e We checked to be eligible for pitching in spotify, but it didn't got registered and we missed the chance.Unacceptable.Won't use it again. Super unprofessional. Scammy business model.

I have been with iMusician since September 2020 and would not want to change. Since then they have made various changes to their platform, including providing Analytics not available publicly (such as skip rates on Spotify), as well as changes that make submitting music easier. iMusician additionally provides helpful guides and videos.Their customer service is fast and helpful. At some instances I have to clarify my request, but they always pull through. At one point they admitted that they were late with submitting a release and gave me 5 euros promo credit. What partly explains my great experience with iMusician is my subscription plan: professional unlimited. You may not have the same experience with a lower tier plan.

Disgusting bunch of thieves stole £46 off me I created an AI track put it up paid the money only to be told we don't do Ai and your not getting your money back just highlighted a sentence in the thousand word long terms nothing but low life thieves

I have worked with iMusician, there were some issues that I was not clear about but were quickly resolved by the support team. I hope there will be more changes in the release management platform in the future. But now everything is fine.

I posted already 8 CD's on line with iMusician and I am very happy with their work. I live in Switzerland and I feel save and comfortable communicating in german, and somehow, even though you never see them, you know they are around there, always trying to help you. My experience using another platform in the US was terrible and finally my 1. CD came out as a Compilation CD and I hate that. I am happy that we have iMusician and I don't plan to change this. Ok, I was not so happy to see the new system that they have, but what can we do, it the world market works like that, they must follow (that's what they told me). So, I welcome you to check my music on line, very soon I will post on more CD with Brazil Jazz and String Orchestra. Thanks for everything! Rodrigo

I read some bad reviews about iMusician before I signed up. I’m glad I didn’t listen and followed my instinct, and actually signed up to several platforms to make an assessment which one seems more to my liking. I may be commenting early, because my tracks are still in the process of being released. One platform just outright rejected my releases, with an automated response and no actual human feedback. This of course happened after paying. I mention this, because it forms a contrast to the experience with iMusician.Customer service/experience is an important factor at any stage. The support I have received from the team at iMusician, has been very effective, efficient and ultimately approachable. Friendly and taking steps beyond expectation to give assistance and feedback informing the customer of what they have done, what’s next and what to expect moving forward. As I’m new to distribution process, I have made some mistakes along the way - of which the team has been more than helpful in helping me correct those mistakes. I look forward to working with iMusician further, and I will update this review as I progress through the remaining phases of distribution.

There are a lot of distributors out there, I choose imusician because you pay per release and the credits are yours. (If you pay slightly more you keep 100%). They reply pretty quick depending if there are a lot of releases (especially in French), but there’s a problem. Every time a you contact them a new person replies and you have to explain everything from the top. Even if one person replies and your problem hasn’t been resolved, you’ll deal with a new person. I really hope they will change this, cause now no one really takes responsibility. The positive thing is that they want to become better and that’s already a lot. I’d recommend this platform. (Read all guidelines, an error will result in delay)

Terrible company. Nothing runs smoothly.They forgot to schedule a release, they've changed their prices (much higher now), they've changed their policies (releasepackages are not available anymore, just subscriptions, but I bought a ton of tokens for these packages), uploading is horrible, website is cluttered. DON'T USE THEM!

My release went well and the team was responsive and listened to me. I was very pleasantly surprised. I'd recommend it!
