imeidoctor.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives imeidoctor.com a medium trust score on the platform: 58.4. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Active. Medium-Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 58.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to imeidoctor.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Active. Medium-Risk. tags above. Long story short, we still see some red flags with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning imeidoctor.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between imeidoctor.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of imeidoctor.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of imeidoctor.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. imeidoctor.com is a problematic website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether imeidoctor.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether imeidoctor.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, imeidoctor.com.

OTTIMO SERVIZIO !Tempi rispettati e telefono sbloccatoDi parola !CONSIGLIATISSIMIil telefono era bloccato su un’operatore inglese . Dopo circa 4 giorni ( esclusi i week end , come da loro anche segnalato ) il telefono è stato sbloccato Grazie per il servizio EXCELLENT SERVICE !Times respected and phone unlockedBy word!HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDthe phone was blocked on an English operator. After about 4 days (excluding weekends, as they also reported) the phone was unlockedThanks for the service
All's well that ends well. I wondered if this would be a challenging unlock given that I finally found the phone a couple of years after it was reported lost, and had last used it when I lived in another country. Hence, it turned into a 2-step process, and took longer than expected, BUT all that matters is that it did get unlocked in the end. If you're wondering if these folks can deliver, no matter the circumstances, and are as good as their word, the answer is YES.
The company claims to help you for as little as 28$ for an iCloud unlock but then tells you they cannot help unless you go with the premium service for $40 more. Not mentioned anywhere on their website they came back with some altered screenshots where you couldn't see the price claiming that the second pricing was also mentioned at the sale time which is a lie.So basically for 28$ they literally tell you to contact Apple or the previous owner!? Ripp off
I paid for an unlock up front, and then after waiting for 2 months, I requested a refund. I was given some BS line about waiting for the unlock terms and conditions time frame, but there is no time frame mentioned in their terms, and when I stated the unlock was quite lengthy and asked exactly how much longer I'd need to wait for a refund, they simply ghosted me. Mind you, I followed up the email once again but nothing. Very unethical company, does anyone know if there is a way to sue them via a watchdog group?
Another business that promises you the world (or just iCloud freedom) but says there is a problem with your Imei and they can’t unlock it! It’s just like every other scam company! You will not get your iCloud unlocked there. If you already have given them money, get in contact with the federal bureau of consumer protection like .iC3.gov. And the Better Business Bureau or some sort of Consumer protection. Now they only accept 2 types of credit card. Is that because of the companies they screwed over as well?
Tried to unlock a Samsung phone, took more than 2 months without success, more than 10 email and always received same answer from Tim.The worst thing was that I paid two time, first time I paid US$40, believed it was a full payment but this was just a fee to check the IMEI status, then they asked for a US$125 to complete the order and I'm still waiting for it.Be aware of this site, some people say is legit but I don't think it.
IMEIDoctor is a SCAM. This device was always in the possession of our business, but IMEIDoctor claimed that the phone had been stolen and that security event blocked them from unlocking it. They then stated that the fine print in their contract allowed them to still charge full price despite delivering nothing. Refund requested, not provided.
After having a bad experience with mobileunlocked.com adding a hidden charge on that wasn't clear (and trying to charge me £75). I tried IMEIDoctor instead, the process was quick, taking 24 hours, there was a second charge after the initial cost but this was explained clearly and overall cost half what the other site did.
I paid to have an Apple watch device lock removed. After payment they send an email saying that I have to pay a bit more to finish the unlocking. The initial payment is apparently for tools to do the unlocking myself, which is instructions to either contact the previous owner (who is not answering my calls) or bring it to Apple with proof of ownership. No refund of course.Anyone interested in the actual emails they sent me feel free to comment and I'll send it over.
I purchased 2 services on doctorunlock.net now IMEIDoctor.Their normal and then because they said it was more complicated their premium service for a total of £70.I never received any answer, the service was supposed to take up to 90 days I purchased those on the 22nd of February and despite sending numerous emails. My device never got unlocked and they have failed to deliver on their promises. My imei code is 356571109405662 to verify my claim.
I have been looking for an unlock service for my inherited iPhone X for weeks now. I ran across an article on "A Platform for Good" by Jenny Forthsye. IMEIDoctor was rated number one by far. So I decided to check it out. The price is so amazingly low compared to what others are charging. I gave my phone's IMEI and paid the small fee. The unlocking was done in less than 24 hours by IMEIDoctor. I simply follow the instruction on the email and my phone was able to make phone calls with my carrier within 5 minutes. Thanks for a painless, efficient, and economical services!
They put an unlocking service as 28usd then in the next page of the payment you can see it still is 28 as Total price but below hidden in super tiny letters there is an "additional" fee of 29 more, the funny thing is that they place it in the "terms and conditions" very clear that the first payment can't be refunded! So... a clear scam! That's how I feel now, robbed! They also don't respond to my emails, even I tried to cancel my order(15 mins after paying) saying: "hey I know I lost the pre-order costs but at least give back the order please" No emails, it's like I don't exist,I will be updating this post because 2 weeks have been past and still no answer of my cancellation nor my order status.
My phone was locked from being in a payment plan, which meant I couldn't use the dual sim capability. I honestly thought there was no way to get it unlocked, but with the guaranteed refund policy i tried it out and lo and behold they did it! took a bit longer than expected but very happy nonetheless
They are the ones who built the scam systemEmail Tim is a robotIt doesn't unlock nor refundI have requested unlock for iphone 6s plus: imei: 358593070097284 almost 1 year now, still looping nowYou can visit this link to see: They're scammers, I'm stupid to believe them.WARNING AWAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE
I was very cynical when i paid the first instalment and almost immediately there was a request for a further larger payment. However i needed to free up the phone for use with a 2nd SIM. the time was a couple of days longer than was estimated which i thought was going to lead to a request for further payment - but i was pleasantly surprised when I got an email saying all complete. It has worked and I'm very happy with the service.
Scam. Wouldn’t take any of my credit cards (Chase Freedom/Sapphire). Shoulda known right then and there. I paid $28 via debit for them to unlock my phone. Nothing happened. I emailed asking them what the deal was and they responded back stating what I had actually paid for was pre-order. Nothing suggested pre-order when I made the purchase. Joke.Update: They’ve emailed to tell me my phone is ready to be unlocked, IF I pay the 2nd installment for another $40.
Following much frustration with my mobile phone service provider trying to get my iPhone unlocked (it was my phone I’d purchased independently too!) I turned to IMEI Doctor. It took a bit longer than expected but successfully unlocked my iPhone. No fuss service.
This is a scam. They advertise iCloud Authorization Unlock for $28. Sounds reasonable, so I paid. Then I got an email with a link to track my order. When I click on that I'm taken to a page that tells me contact the previous owner, or if I can't, to pay them another $42 dollars to complete the process. The process that was supposed to cost $28. What a scam. It's a shame. If they can do what they claim to do (unlock iCloud authorization), they could make good money with some honest business practices.
Had to pay two times:- One to have an option to start with Icloud unlocking process- One start the actually unlocking processAfter three days I’ve received an email that unlocking is not possible. The device was according imeidoctor stolen or reported as lost.I’ve included the conversations with the company that I work for, including Apple. Its obvious that the device is not stolen, it was provided to me by the company. Again the same reply of Imei doctor...Still waiting for a refund. If I don’t receive my money back with 48 hours, our legal team will start a case against them.

“Six months!”

After 6 months, they still have not completed my unlock. Nobody will answer emails and any communication I do receive on public forums is purely for show. They never follow up. All I want is my money back. They ruined my son's Christmas present, and in June we are still waiting. What horrible people. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Another site that rips you off! Beware of additional charges later in the process”

Found this website that claimed they unlock your iPhone for $28. Paid the fee and after 3 days I received an email from this company stating that if I wanted to have my phone unlocked it would cost me another $56 and that if I did not want to proceed and continue to get ripped off my initial $28 payment is none refundable and that I would loose my initial payment. Their email also claims that these details are written on their website and they probably are somewhere in very fine print but they are certainly not listed on the first page where it is clearly written in big white letters that the unlock costs $28. Nowhere does it say there will be an additional fee. Beware!

“Big Scam stay away from them.”

Purchased a phone unlock charged at 19 pounds than an additional fee was required to unlock the phone, After a few days they send me a message that the Imei was wrong or network was wrong, but both checked and were correct. Run from them do not waste any time and money with these scammers. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Scam! Scam!”

They state that there's no hidden fee and all prices are final once you entered your IMEI however this is not so. Once you entered your IMEI is states $28 for your device to be unlocked then you receive an email saying an additional fee should be paid before you receive the unlock code that's false advertising. I have attached a photo where they claim there's no hidden fee but will email you about additional cost. They won't unlock your phone just charge you more than what was originally agreed upon. They are a scam! Do not use them! Do not fall for this scam!

“Complete scam, avoid at all costs”

Look at the Trustpilot reviews to see how they keep you engaged by taking split payments that add up to £80 and then keep fobbing you off for months before cancelling the order and offering a partial credit note. Tip for consumers:Just don't! Products used:iCloud unlock Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Good”

Service is exceptionally good. It took just 3 days to unlock my phone. The only concern I had was regarding the price. The premium is very expensive and it would have been helpful if the premium prices were also displayed before hand.

“No unlock and no refund”

I'm posting my order # IMEI ************** number online so i can get help and everyone can see it. It has been 90 days. On may 31 i placed the order trying to unlock my sprint phone and they failed to lock it or honor their refund policy. I paid $168.

“Scam”

Do not go anywhere near this company. I have waited 12 months for a unlock. You do not hear anything from them when you email. It is unclear how to get a refund. £100 up in smoke and still a unlocked phone. Who writes the good reviews themselves? Had to put 1 star to send review. Minus 5 would be more like it.

“Scam. Don't fall for it.”

I paid so long ago, I don't even remember how much. It's in the 60 dollar range for an iCloud unlock. Stupid me. Their "Support" does not exist, no one will get back to you. Just don't do it. If I could give a "zero" rating, I would.

“Better than expected”

Good job but a little pricey. Phone flashed "unlocked " message on startup. I knew it was unlocked way before I received an email from company. If I had positive report of unlocked status I could have completed switching carriers one day earlier.

“Fraud”

They ask you to pay a certain sum, then they come back that your apple watch is stolen so update to "Activation Lock Premium" for 70 usd in total. They write that you need to wait 30 days (btw great premium service :D) and now I am waiting 3 months and nothing. Written countless message = nothing. I would put zero stars if I could. I definitely do not reconnect them!

“Don't waste your money.”

Have been waiting almost 7 months and nothing. They said it wouldn't cost more after initial payment... asked for more money saying they needed to use another program or whatever for my activation unlock. They kept sending the same reply whenever asked about it. Seems like a big scam to me and guessing all the good reviews are by fake people. Don't waste your money with these guys. Tip for consumers:Don't!!! Will ask for more money and won't give a refund, they will give you credit or whatever to use on another device. So if you don'rt have another device, there goes your money..and even if you do have another device..the odds are high the same thing will happen again having to pay more and they can't do it (supposedly) Think it's just a scam for money. “Clean IMEI they claim is blacklisted”

Checked my IMEI number on multiple sites and it came back clean. I then paid for their iPhone unlocking service. They came back and said I had to upgrade to the premium service because the phone was still under contract. Paid for their premium service. After a couple weeks, they said the IMEI was on the global blacklist. I have sent them multiple emails showing that the IMEI is in fact no black listed, but have received no response. Only time will tell if they will respond on here. I would not recommend doing any business with them.

“NO REFUND - SUBMITTED FOR PREMIUM UNLOCK 80 DAYS AGO”

Submitted for Premium Unlock on 10/10/2019. Still not unlocked and e-mail queries have standard response that "Its taking longer than usual". No phone number on the website. I think I should just consider the money wasted.

“Doctor Unlock - Scam Alert!”

SCAM ALERT! SCAM ALERT! Imei ************** Total paid $168 Pay to get verified is legit in other means Order date 31-05-2019 For one year they are chasing my unlock The last reply from Dr. Unlock on 25t Sep a computer-generated email. Unlock is supposed to take 1-30 days as per your email in august. Been chasing for 6 months and only received "wait, we'll let you know" computer-generated email. Asked for progress, no reply. I asked for a refund, no reply. Now been over 6 months, even replies on this site are friendly and friendly but without substance. I will come back and give 5 stars if I can either get my phone unlocked or receive my refund. I suspect any future replies will be, "we're on it" or " we'll update you as soon as we can". Just look at their standard, generic comments

“Did not receive what you pay for.”

They say 28$ for iPhone activation and after 1-2 day they asked again money to process final payment 42$ = 70$ and in the end they told me that i need to pay their premiun service because the imei is blacklisted when it's not. Dont trust.

“Icloud unlock clean حراميه”

I purchased icloud unlock for clean device. I paid 28$ at first then they asked me for invoice of purchase if you don't have one you should pay again 42$. I paid for second time. After 3 days your unlock failed and the money will give you voucher for 40$ on your account to use it again for unlock sim card not icloud. Scammer Scammer scammer شوية حراميه خد بالك

“Not Good at All... Took my money with no results!”

First let me say that I should have known that it was too good to be true. Just like the countless videos on YouTube that claim they can show you how to unlock your iPhone. Pure B. S. This site/business is a scam that, like most, preys on people who are at their wits end and have tried several ways to get their phone unlocked without success. They swoop in and tell you that they can do it in a couple of days. Not true. It has been over four months since I gave them my money and my phone IMEI without any success. What's worse is they lead you on for the first 90 days telling you it will take up to 90 days or so. Then they will not communicate with you when you ask for a refund. Pure Scam... and I'm the sucker, like many, who fell for their load of crap. Oh well, lesson learned. Use your money to buy a new or used phone instead of making these creeps rich. Good luck.

“Looks like scam to me”

Sprint unlock. Money taken (more than initially offered on their web-site), offered 1 to 30 days until completion with lengthy but trustworthy process bar (basically 1% per day). I waited 80 days. Unlock never happened, no response from them, and not money back upon request.

“Crooks, plain and simple”

Ipad 4 GSM - made the idiot mistake of signing up for their premium service to bypass icloud activation lock. Over 120 days and nothing. Try to contact them and you just get the same auto-generated garbage about "this is taking longer than expected"... Stay away, they'll just take your $$$ and give you nothing for it Tip for consumers:don't use their service, it's a scam Products used:premium service for activation icloud unlock Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“100% SCAMMER! All good reviews are fake”

Don't pay a dime. You make initial payment of $28 then after a couple of days they tell you that the order was is ready to be processed and all they need is second payment ($42). Then they say your phone can't be unlocked because it's reported lost or stolen which is completely false. A

“Stay away from this site!”

Placed the unlock service order on 7/19/19 and was asked to pay $100+ more for the premium service. After the progress percentage bar reached 100% after 40+ days, my iPhone 7 was still locked. Now 70 days passed and asked to get full refund. No reply from the site except the same message again and again: This IMEI was issued to the carrier on the 20th as per your order status page and is currently in process, don't worry as soon as it's been unlocked you will be emailed as well as the order status page being updated. Stay away from this! It's a scam!

“DoctorUnlock high prices no service”

I purchased an icloud removal then activation lock fail I purchased an icloud removal after contacting them to find out if it can be done on the 26/9/2019 for 28$US. Then they asked for 30$US to start the process. When that failed they offered me a voucher for the icloud premium service which cost me 70$ US. its been over 3 months now and they are still chasing the imei on this device. The s icloud premium service was purchased on 2019-09-27 00:37:18. Honestly it seems as though i cant get the activation lock removed so i would like a refund of all services as i did explain to them i had an activation issue in the first place and they assured me it can be done before any transaction took place. The automated messages are getting irritating to say the least. Be cautious people. IMEI ************** Tip for consumers:stay clear of this site Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Surprisingly, not a scam!”

I was incredibly nervous about using these guys as I paid and THEN saw all the bad reviews, and then the sinking feeling that they were gonna scam me too. Not saying that they don't scam people, they may well do, but thankfully for me it worked, a locked EE iPhone 7 (under 6 months old too, which is usually a no-go), done after about 4 days. And no this is not a paid review posted by them! Up to you whether you chose to take the gamble, but it actually worked for me!

“It's an honest service”

To everyone on here that doesn't read and shots out scam! The 20-28 dollars you pay up front is a partial payment. There is NOWHERE on Earth that will unlock your phone this way that cheap. If you actually type in your phone's IMEI number in advance it will tell you how much the rest will cost. I've used this service three times. It works. If you bought a phone from someone you need to check to make sure the phone hasn't been reported stolen before you buy it. The only reason I'm given the four stars is because sometimes it can take a long time. They will send you a link with a progress bar so you can check the status.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

Are You the Owner of imeidoctor.com?

If you own imeidoctor.com, we’d love to hear from you. If you'd like to challenge the trust score we’ve assigned, we’re happy to take a closer look. However, please be prepared to provide solid proof of your business's legitimacy. Introduce yourself with your name (not just "Admin").

When domain owners contact us to dispute their trust score, we kindly ask for the following:

* Business documentation that verifies your legitimacy (e.g., certificate of incorporation, business registration, or official records with the site or business name).

* Your personal LinkedIn profile and the business's social media accounts (e.g., Facebook).

* If available, proof of satisfied customers (e.g., screenshots, not just testimonials on your website), evidence of inventory, or records of handling order cancellations properly.

We’re more than willing to update your review based on the evidence you provide—the more proof, the higher your trust score. Please note, however, that we cannot verify non-operational websites or those redirected to other URLs. Additionally, we do not verify websites involved in high-risk financial services, gambling, adult content, or illegal activities.
