ikea.ie Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives ikea.ie one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 84.7. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 84.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to ikea.ie's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning ikea.ie, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between ikea.ie and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of ikea.ie. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of ikea.ie, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. ikea.ie is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether ikea.ie has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether ikea.ie boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, ikea.ie.

DO NOT USE TASKRABBIT for home delivery ! the QR code doesn’t work and there is ZERO customer service to help you sort home delivery once you are in store and paid for your items. We had to have our bulk items refunded to buy it online instead after we had made the journey and picked the items to arrange for delivery - delivery non existent if you live outside of a ‘catchment area’ despite us having had a delivery from IKEA previously. Absolute s*** show!
Shockingly bad customer service. Company are in breach of Trades Description Act and have been informed as such, but sadly they are a massive corporation so they are untouchable. They say I have to pay £25 for them to collect items that are not fit for purpose.
IWe had a 1800 bucks delivery scheduled from Ikea with the rxo compagny. We received 3 text messages to say that our delivery was confirmed with a time frame. After a while the delivery guy didn't shows up. When we called Ikea and the delivery company (RXO) they didn't bother to explain why they didn't come of just offer us a new delivery, 10 DAYS LATER. We had bed frame and mattress in this delivery, so we had to bought air mattress for this 10 days and live without any furniture because of them. And of course no refund a commercial gesture. Don't ask for a delivery with Ikea and RXO, it is a nightmare.
It is absolutely unacceptable that it takes up to 3 weeks for Ikea.ca to refund the customer's money after I wasn't able to pick the purchased online furniture in 24 hours. After missing the deadline we called to check if we still could pick the items, but the representative said that the items were back to stock, and we will get a refund soon. Now it is two week later, and still there is no refund. Today I called, and a representative tried to explain about the refund, but he also told me that my purchased items were still available for pick up for a couple days after 24 hours of the deadline. When we called first time nobody told us about that. I had to spent another 600$ to buy the same furniture in the store because refund wasn't available from IKEA. They also could covert my money into a gift card, which I could receive online and use for the purchase of the same furniture in the store. Nobody did anything except the last representative who tried to calculate the days, and tell me when I will be getting my money back. I learn my lesson: I will never purchase anything on Ikea's website again
A faulty ikea dishwasher flooded my apartment and the one underneath and the process of trying to deal with customer service to get a replacement has been horrendous - holding on the phone for hours, being directed to other numbers that are not answered, unanswered emails. After spending €10k on an ikea kitchen, the whole process has been a nightmare
Another week delayed of my order 1443796477 order from 23june can't fit my kitchen due to not full order recived IKEA Is FU NG JOKE where is my order every time same excuse DX have issue with lorries. DX is next for review.
People with foreign phone numbers be aware. One tiny typo can cost you 800kr and your delivery to be postponed with 1 week despite if you change the phone number on the website on your profile before the order is sent out for delivery.I am really disappointed with the level of service they were able to provide - actually the service in my situation was nonexistent. There’s a huge lack of information towards the consumer here which can cause such big problems and stress.
Massively disappointed with IKEA Oman. Absolutely disgusted with their approach to customer service. I went all the way to IKEA in Ghubra and order several items (which they showed me were in stock). I asked them to deliver it and they asked me to choose a date for delivery. Everything sorted? No. On delivery date morning, they call me and inform me some items i chose are out of stock! Bullshite. Next, the delivery that was supposed to happen in the evening never happened. Worse was when i contacted their customer service. No one picks up the call. Secondly, whatsapp chat is pointless, you are talking to a bot. Thirdly, i finally managed to get a customer representative "Ammar" on their website chat. All he says is "I will check with the store". And then he disconnects the chat! Wow IKEA well done! Never coming back for sure.
We had to return/exchange an item we purchased because it was missing parts. After waiting 30 minutes in the return line to process it, we waited another 25 minutes to receive a new order for another box that was yet missing parts also. Once it was all figured out (another 30 minutes), we were missing a whole box and then was made to wait another 30 minutes for their pick up person to walk to a shelf to pick it out - what would have taken me 5 minutes to walk over and get myself but I was not allowed to. IKEA needs to come up with a better system as this was very inconvenient for have wasted 2 hours of my time just for an exchange. Extremely inconvenient and frustrating.
Paid for expedited delivery, IKEA missed that delivery date and 3 more, each time cancelling without my knowledge. I had to call customer support daily. Every day they said it would be delivered and the website was then cancelled that day for no reason.I had to drive to Oak Creek, WI to get my stuff eventually. Definitely going to stick with Amazon and never do IKEA again!
Pathetic customer service; Very bad experience with Ikea Product and Customer Care Department. I was on the call with them more than 2 hours and every other department is transferring me another department for help. Nobody knows how to resolve the Customer query. If your Credit card is approved, you don't even receive a single email saying the "Congratulations, you are approved and you can generate your temporary credit card here". Order department can't place the order on your behalf with the credit card details on file. Credit Card Department don't even know how to generate the temporary credit card details for customer. Very very bad customer experience with Ikea.
ABSOLUTELY WORST ONLINE STOREEasily the worst and most frustrating online store to use, I don't know why I bother as Ikea is not even cheap anymore but their products are still cheap and nasty. Literally every time I try to purchase something online I end up having to contact them on chat, and even that is a royal pain in the you know what. Comes up with "ypou seem to have connectivity issues" when I know 100% there is nothing wrong with my internet, and its a bit sus it happens every time I contact them regardless of time of day. They are slow to reply and it's the usual OS call centre reading from the same old tired scripts, The only reason I have used them at all is because my daughter keeps finding stuff on their website for her bedroom and won't change her mind. otherwise there is no way I would ever buy anything from them again. The latest issue is trying to change a delivery date by one day, the message I keep receiving "Sorry, there's an unexpected problem with the rescheduling system at the moment. Please try again, or come back at another time." the reschedule button seems to be directly connected to this message as they have no intention of rescheduling.
This company has the most appalling customer service. It is impossible to talk to the store you have purchased from directly. The only number takes you to an operative who has limited resources to help you. No one rings back and nobody solved the problem. I have had my order lost then found waited twice for delivery that did not come. No apologies no explanation and just stuck in an endless loop when trying to complain. It is the worst customer service ever. I still have not received an order placed two months ago!
I placed an order with IKEA(Online Croydon City in London) and waited two days for the pick-up date. When I went to the pick-up center, I waited two hours for my order. Fifteen minutes before the pick-up time ended, they called me and said they couldn't do it today. I asked for delivery, and they said they would call me back, but no one did. Even though I told them not to cancel the order, they canceled it anyway. Now, when I call, no one is taking responsibility or trying to fix the issue. It's really disappointing to be treated this way by such a big company like IKEA.
I have been struggling with an order for 3 months now. They already rescheduled the delivery two times, and now they will do it again. I bought it at the end of May, and after 3 months of rescheduling between them, they again sent me a message rescheduling. This company is the worst; they don't have a minimum of respect for their customers.
I bought shelves. Before going to the store I checked from their web page and found the product with 80x40 size. On the main page it was written 80x40 therefore I didn’t need to check the details. In the store on the product itself also it was written 80x40. When I came home it was smaller, then I measured and it was about 77.5x38. Even on the receipt it is written 80x40. Still I tried to use them using extra supporters but it doesn’t look good and not strong enough. I called the customer service and made a complaint. They said what I only could do is to take them back to the store and ask for refund. I didn’t go back to the store and give it back because it would cost me time about 2-3 hours and travel cost and again getting tired to carry them back. I am not happy at all with the company’s service after selling the product.
I bought a few Billy bookcases second-hand, and, they didn't come with the metal brackets to fix them to the wall (it's for safety, so they won't fall over) and, while looking for them online I've found that IKEA offers spare parts (small ones) for their products, for free, shipped to your door. So, I ordered the amount I needed, and in a few days they arrived, and I got the bookcases fixed to the walls securely.Thank you for that.
Justin A. with the resolutions team was amazing! He helped with fixing a return, credit card problem, and placing a big order, as well helped with getting my student discount placed when the website was having difficulties finding my college on its database. It felt like I was talking to an old friend! Best customer service I have ever received! Being stressed with nursing school going on and then Justin made everything better! I appreciated the chat and kind words! Thank you for your patience (2hrs on the phone) and your kindness! Wish you the best of luck for the future!
The worst experience ever ! I order one month ago and still waiting my order ( ikea Greece ) I called several times and they tell me is a delay Bla bla ! I received a message that order finally will come one week ago again but still never came NEVER AGAIN ORDER from the online shop
The worst experience:On 02.07, I placed an order with IKEA’s online store in Greece with order code AE3C8510644E totaling €460.95, opting for home delivery.Three times I was notified of delivery attempts for my order (on 22.07, 26.7, and 10.8), none of which were successful.Despite repeated emails (on 15, 25, 29.7, and 6.8) and phone calls from my side, I have not received a satisfactory response.I haven’t received yet!

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
