- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning iinet.net.au, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between iinet.net.au and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of iinet.net.au. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of iinet.net.au, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. iinet.net.au is a dubious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

If I could give zero stars I would. Atrocious customer service. Truly, the worst I've ever had. I cancelled my internet (due to moving house) a year ago, well in advance of moving. Despite this, my account ended up in credit. I am STILL communicating with them to get the money refunded. I have been told by numerous customer service employees they will "personally follow up on this matter", several have promised to escalate it/resolve it/taken bank details/blah blah blah. The mind boggles. I could not recommend them less.
Do not use these scammers, they behave like petulant children who will not hesitate to promise you anything, take your money then completely fail to deliver any service at all. When you ring customer service to get a problem fixed someone will always answer, pretend to do something but couldn’t care less because they know when you ring back it will be another inept operator. You have been warned. Cheap, yes, but as the saying goes “you get what you pay for”.
I have not had internet for 3 weeks. In this time, I have spent a total of 9 hours on the phone to iiNet attempting to resolve this issue and took a day away from work to attend a technician visit. Each time I call iiNet, I am told a different reason as to why my internet is not working. I am told conflicting and misleading information and have no timeframe or clarity on resolution of this issue. I have no way of getting the correct information or internet connection which I pay $75/month for. The customer service experience from iiNet has left me feeling completely helpless and in the dark. I would not recommend iiNet to anyone.I have repeatedly been promised call backs which have not happened.
The staff get their jollies off upsetting youIts the cultureThey don't care - Upsetting you is for fun to alleviate their phone boredomThey will say anything for the sake of itIts like they are pretending to be a businessYou cannot trust anythingThey are childrenI have been with them 20+ years - used to be greatNow absolute low class jokeSTAY AWAY
iiNet have the worst customer service period , due to my slow internet service . They convinced me to upgrade to a faster level . For extra charge but the speed is slower . They won’t send out a technician and expect customers to diagnose their own issues . They expect customers to fully understand the operation of the system . Avoid this pack of snake oil salesman
Another week has passed and I have called iiNett as per their instructions and followed all instruction without any resolution.I have clicked on varied links (when they were actually sent to me) and sent photos of me holding ID etc but despite repeated attempts, so much wasted time and an incredible amount of stress I have been unable to do what is being requested of me, through no fault of my own. I eventually resorted to calling the ombudsman today in an attempt to resolve this. Fingers crossed this works. No Sim card has been sent, refund actioned or termination of my account actioned.iiNetts behaviour is illegal and they should be fined/ removed from being able to work in this field. Do not chose them as your provider. You would think they would make it seamless and easy for me to become a new customer. I was with my last provider for years and still would be with them if I didn't encounter problems and planned on being with iiNett indefinitely.Lee
Avoid. Was a long time customer of aapt.net.au who was bought by iinet, then totally discarded. They charged for VOIP calls that contractually they couldn't and fought met on it for months. Then iinet handed off all aapt.net.au emails to "the messaging company". That crowd took my money then switched off my emails and deleted all of them, and my account, without any notice whatsoever. that has caused major inconvenience in my life as many accounts can't be accessed. Both those companies are unbelievably bad and have zero consideration for customers.
Customer Service for the last 4 months has been intermittent just like their service. Support providers completely inadequate in being able to resolve problems through to the end. Poor follow-up and follow through. Call come at end of our evening, so timing wise late in the day if there are problems through the day. Wifi dropping out, mobile wifi freezes, Chromecast can'f connect. Would not recommend. Please bring back support to home territory.
I love iiNet! With over ten years of loyalty, from Perth to Sydney, it has remained my favorite internet provider. Even after being taken over by TPG, iiNet continues to offer reasonable pricing. Well done, iiNet!
I was a long time loyal customer of westnet. The worst thing they did was to sell out to iinet, in turn iinet sold of the email component to the messaging company, (read the reviews for this abysmal service). What this tells me is that these services dont give a toss about their customers. I am in the process of moving all my important contacts and official emails to a much more reliable, FREE service. the messaging company can keep The 10 fold increase of scam email that goes to my inbox, and my new email service will allow legitimate emails through. The messaging company couldn't organize a kids party with two guests attending. iinet be on notice customers are leaving in droves. Bad move
C R A PI have been a loyal iiNet customer for nearly 9 years. The way I have been treated in the last few days by this company is very sad.I am now taking my business elsewhere.I'm done with inferior customer service outsourced to the Phillipines with rude service staff and language barriers spoof calling me from a Sydney number like they are calling from within Australia.
I purchased a home phone and internet plan from iiNet for my very elderly and frail mother. For the record, I do not use and probably will NEVER use iiNet for my telephony and/or internet requirements. The internet connection appears OK but the home landline phone is still not operating. I cant count the amount of times I have been transferred to various iiNet staff to remedy this problem. iiNet are probably the most inept organisation that I have ever dealt with. The frustration escalates every time you are transferred to an iiNet operator who constantly reads from a formatted script and wont divert from its contents. In this instance, wouldn't a professional organisation have checked that my landline was operating before they send any information to me that all was ready to go? Not iiNet. I had to phone them and tell them my phone line was not working. Numerous times I told the iiNet operator that my mother was elderly, she lives alone and needs the phone in case of emergencies. If you want more frustration than you can handle and are more than happy with less than third world support and service then by all means sign up with iiNet. I honestly don't know how iiNet is still operating. On reading quite a few of the reviews, I noticed that iiNet responded to these negative reviews with an appalling and cringeworthy "lip service" message. I guess I will receive the same?
My monthly IINET account is paid by direct debit. This one time there were insufficient funds so I called iinet the next day and made a payment. Next thing I know, they have taken another payment ie 2 out of my account. I have called every day for a refund, only to be told bs such as we cant access our customers' details, the refund has been processed, and all sorts of ridiculous lies. I am a long term customer and now am searching elsewhere. I am on a pension and did not authorise two payments to be deducted...that was my food money for the week.Sick of being lied to. I dont want a credit on my December account, I want my damn money back. Also, am now being charged for phone calls on my landline which were previously free, no notice given.Shame on you IINET.
We had been loyal customers for over 25 years but the service of iinet has deteriorated terribly over the past 2 years. We tried to initiate our internet services (including phone) to be migrated to Telstra and it has been three months of delays from iinet for no good reason. They cancelled our service and after we returned the loan phone provided by them they told us we must pay to have it reconnected (at our expense) and receive another loan phone (at our expense) to allow the migration to be successful. We have been waiting three months with no land line. I have lodged a complaint with the telecommunications ombudsman. I would never recommend westnet, iinet or tpg services (all affiliated providers) to anyone after this awful experience.
We have had an ongoing issue since the change over to 5G very phone call we make falls out, A call to my daughter fell out 3 times and we have given up!I cannot tell you how many calls we have made for technical support and emails, and guess what when we have a call back from iiNet the call drops out.We have been with iiNet always but we are cancelling today as it is impossible to get some help. Please note our phones have worked perfectly before the change over to 5G! As I am disabled this is also a dangerous situation to be in ifI need urgent help. John and Di Hill
Possibly the worst customer service for any telco we have dealt with. Repeated outages on our 5G connection and very slow speeds at times. iiNet contact by phone a waste of time. Promises to elevate the complaint to a higher level never eventuate No return calls. We are giving iiNet the flick
So I didn't have a problem with the service for the last 3 years....now it's a constant (inappropriate language) up! How many times a day do i have to reset and hope services comes back?????
Ii net take 2 for me...customer service is excellent iinet listened to my issues. Tried to resolve them couldn't so escalated my concerns to technical department they are immediately sending a new modem !!. Once connected they will contact me on whether they will Escalate complaint to NBN co for further investigation. Have received follow up calls as well. Well done iinet.
Stopped my discount, charged me extra 10 dollars with no notices or emails. They have promised to call me twice to solve it still no contact after I wasted 2 hours on hold. Terrible service and waste of my time.they said discount has expired but they couldn't find an expiry date.
They're great at selling you products and setting you up, but billing and service inquiries are woeful. Terrible programs for customer, errors quoting me a reference number, and updates I made not being registered. Then waiting forever on the phone cos there is no other way in to their service department to get things fixed.

“BEWARE - IINET are THIEVES AND LIARS”
Told us because we needed static IP - if we went with their affiliate - no charge for break of contract. Sent invoice for break of contract fee. Told us to disregard - it was automated email. Then DEBITED the fee out of our account. Advised in writing they would refund. After 2 months and about 6 calls - ALL promising a refund - they refuse to refund. IINET are thieves! BEWARE.
“Complaint very angry customer”
I have waited over two hours on the phone to try and update my payment details, when I finally got through they hung up immediately, I am NOT IMPRESSED I have been trying for days to do it on line, and I am not stupid, but I just cannot do it. I am a very frustrated/angry customer. I am at the end of my patience trying to update a simple request for my payment details. What do I have to do. In future I will pay my account as it comes in rather than go through the dreadful rigmarole that I have just been put through.
“IiNet and Voda phone”
Must read the bottom! I am so disappointed with iiNet. As most reviews state, service not working well. I had the service for one year and yes it is Voda phone. I had bad service within weeks of getting the service and again only recently, I was told it was Voda Phone maintaining the Tower,(Sunbury Victoria) I asked if I could talk to Voda phone as this wasn't a day but a month! It isn't good enough a specially when you have appointments and you miss them due to Nobody contacting me to warn me. Then I contacted iiNet as I was over it, due to it happening twice in one year to find out the day my service will cancel if I do not pay, told midnight 31st, today isn't midnight, it is 29th at 5pm when I decided to use my phone and found out I was disconnected. If you do have similar issues, forget contacting iiNet, call the ombudsman as that way iiNet will give you the one month free, saying that, one month doesn't do it. I got charged for missing my doctor's appointment but it was something.
“Iinet needs seriously improving its services and support”
I have been with iinet near 3 years. The services and connections are average. What I am complaining is the most recently services and tech support. I experienced regular drop off months ago and it was getting worst each month. Since Dec 2022 I was experienced 5 to 10 times drop off a day and sometimes take more than a hour to reconnect. Iinet technician reported more than 11k errors generated in 15mins when visit my house. I still experience 5 to 10 times drop out each day after escalated to level 2 tech support. Iinet support promised the connection will be stabilised but iinet failed its promises. The worst is nobody connect us to finalise what is the problems and how to fix it. Everyday, I need to spend hours on iinet support calls. It is ridiculous. I asked to speak to their managers but nobody call back either. I am very disappointed the way how iinet look after its loyal customer and I will leave iinet services and will not join it again. This is how crazy iinet is. From the last time, 4.30pm to now 9.15pm, I have reset my modem more than 10 times. How people can work from home. It is seriously interrupted people's normal life and daily work. It is NOT acceptable iinet. It is untolerentable behaviour. Please be responsible to your customers. BTW, I have waited 45mins on iinet support phone line and cannot get it through. Tip for consumers:Please consider carefully before joining iinet as an internet service provider. Service Value Quality

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
