We had a problem with our M73. It was sent to the guys at Herne Bay who fixed and returned it in just over a week. All covered by our extended warranty. Great service from them. Our sailing club Safety boats rely on these radios so are an important part of equipment.Many thanks to all involved.

Excellent service. We operate a commercial vessel and needed a quick turnaround for a faulty VHF. Dropped off in the afternoon and received a call at 8.30 next morning to say it was ready for collection. Repaired, cleaned and updated , all at a very fair price. Good old fashioned , helpful ,service.

We inherited an early 00s Icom M601 VHF radio and remote commandmic with a boat purchase which it turns out were both faulty.Icom responded to our initial email enquiry extremely quickly and spent a lot of time working through various testing routines to see if we could identify the issues.After deciding to repair rather than replace both units were sent in and repaired and returned within 72 hours for a fraction of the cost of an equivalent replacement.Chris on the service team is an absolute star.We certainly would not hesitate to recommend ICOM to anyone

Another heap of praise for the Guys and Girls at Icom UK. Another faulty Ham radio of mine, in need of attention from the people who know them best, i posted to them, it was evaluated, repaired to perfection and returned to me inside a week, and at very reasonable cost. To sum up, if Carlsberg did customer service, this is what you would get, stellar service, i cant praise them enough, and have no affiliation with them at all.

Handheld radio developed a fault after a few months (can not hear transmissions, but can still make them). Has been with ICOM for repair for five weeks. Was told would take 5-10 days, now 35 days later still nothing. No email communication, or phone call. I chased twice by phone but still no nearer knowing when / if I will get a working handheld M93D back again.

My IC-7610 suddenly lost output power and that awful sinking feeling washed over me that a final transistor had failed. I initially thought that it was out of warranty until I looked on Icom's UK warranty section on the site. To my delight I discovered the IC-7610 warranty lasts two years, lucky old me I thought.I phoned Icom UK and a very pleasant and very helpful gentleman Andy arranged to have the transceiver collected the next day. He kept me fully informed throughout. Luckily, I had the original box to send it in.Within a week it had been returned with a matched pair of new transistors. That is exceptionally good service indeed and believe it could not be bettered by anyone.Thank you all at Icom UK for such a pleasant experience in first class customer Support and Service. I’ve been an icom fan now for many, many years. There customer service and after sales is top notch, 100% better than all the other Amatuer radio companies out there by far. There radios/equipment are just top quality and I’ve never ever had a single problem with any of my icom gear. There customer service via email is spot on and you get a very friendly and helpful reply every time and within the hour. If your looking at buying any icom gear then I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them as you know your get top quality gear and a service to add.Keep up the great work icom.

I love my icom hand held and fixed unit there old and never had a problem I think my hand help is 10 years old and it still has the the same batteryWhen I end up replace my coms kit for the boat it will be icom again
