Is icabanken.se Legit?

ICA Banken is a bank for swedes exclusively. As foreign resident or student without regular income they will not give you a mobile Bank-ID. This makes your bankaccount basicly useless, since you need a bankaccount at a real bank anyway, to be able to cope with daily live. Because without a mobile Bank-ID you're basicly handicaped in sweden.

The process went very smooth barely took 1 day to approve my loan and then transferred it to a loan account in another bank within 2-3 working days. I would love to try other banking services from ICA and see how it goes. As of now, Everything looks good!Thank you for your service :)

They may have some problems with their site and with the way foreign payments work but the customer service is unmatched hence the 4/5

Had a bit of a burden when applying for a bank account. I was unaware of needing a Swedish ID to retrieve the letters and packages sent by the bank itself, which translated into not being able to get the security device to activate the account when they sent it. Had an online consultation via Facebook where everything was explained and I was helped to put my account fees on hold until I got a Swedish ID.My customer service worker (Jessica, 3rd of June 2020, via Facebook) was very patient and clear when resolving my multiple questions, and provided an excellent service and treatment.I believe it should be helpful to note, alert or require to verify Swedish ID when applying for the bank account so as to avoid these scenarios, but the costumer service provided to resolve the scenario was excellent.

If your not a Swedish citizen don't even even bother getting an account here. You will not be able to get Mobile Bank ID or Swish & to live in Sweden you basically have to have these.They only accept Id cards or passports issued by the police, but you can't get those unless your a Swedish citizen.I have residency in Sweden & my Swedish government issued residency card has my biometrics on it, exactly the same as the police id, but it's not acceptable for some strange reason.So basically if your not Swedish, just make your life easier & use another bank that is happy to do buisness with non Swedish citizens.

Horrible experience with customer service. Day light robbery when paying out a loan. Worst bank in Sweden.Stay away from ICA banken is my honest advice to anyone. If possible i would give -10 rating instead of +1.

A very bad bank in all aspects, They are hustler, and it seems they have hired humans robots to answer the costumers, they always answer a different question. I Will never interact with ICA products again.

Warning warning warning. Be very very carefully this bank is the worst customer service in the entire country. Well god luck I am not convinced that theu even exist any customer service after being customer 2.5 years I still never manage to ever talk to anyone there and yet again waste 17 min and 41 seconds listening to a moron machine that keeps telling me Du är nr 1, vänt till det blir din tur????? And it just never happens. There are is no customer service Ica Banken they do not exist. Confirmed and confirmed 14 times now. Secondly DO NOT make loan here a loan with a fast ränte is what it will state on their offer but that is all lies. It will go up each month unfortunately I didn't realise it before I ended up paying over 1200 more each month than original agreed and what is in the contract we talk over a kvarter million loan with a 12% intrest???????? Be very carefully thwu sound so good and nice. Theu are not but like any other loan shark in Sweden their is no real banks. Not sure how those country had survived and what kind of government is here????? Ruined country yes so verh very much indeed, sadly enough very easy here. Very very easy
