This company is a scam. At first it was promised for a lifetime, now they are shutting down. they are not even refunding money or credit. They want us to go to 20i which is their sister company. now they say they are offering 3 month of free service. however upon checking that is provided to every new user.
I think the negative reviews here are unfair. iBrave launched with an unlimited offer for $99 which I was lucky enough to sign up to a couple of years ago. Unfortunately the deal turned out to be too good to be viable (it was based on a fractional unlimited package from 20i). Now they are shutting down so the party is over so I'll have to look elsewhere. But in the meantime, I've saved over a thousand dollars vs hosting anywhere else. Even if you just signed up a month ago, you have free hosting to November which works out at $15 for unlimited sites which is still a good deal. At GoDaddy etc you'd be paying that for just one site! Now the option is to transfer your account to 20i, who supplied the service to iBrave. Their rates are not as good but still pretty competitive. The transfer is painless- literally a few clicks so those complaining about "scrambling about" are exaggerating. You have till NOVEMBER to sort things out. 20i will support you till then and give you 3 months of free hosting which is decent enough.Last thing I'll say is up until now, the performance and reliability of my (pretty low traffic WordPress) sites has been great. Availability well above 99.9%. No weird DNS restrictions, or other limitations or gotchas. No spurious extra costs for standard features (I'm looking at you Godaddy). I guess that's why they are out of business.So- so long iBrave. But thanks for all the fish.
Experienced the same thing as the many people writing negative reviews on here. I bought lifetime hosting just to have the company send out a message saying that is closing. Now left scrambling to set up server elsewhere and keep sites running.Feels very much like a scam.

Zero stars. Had my domain on auto renew. Made sure it was paid almost a week before it was set to expire. Received payment confirmation. They never renewed it. Lost access for my domain, business email and website for a week. Emailed and submitted several help requests. There is no number to call. Still haven't received a response. Even their addresses are work share spaces. No business registered under their name in my State and I chose them because they had a local address. Paid for lifetime hosting but had to transfer everything to another site since they won't respond. Cost me so much time and money.
I lost all of my websites and domains to this company because I moved everything over to the lifetime hosting plan.
They recently sent out an official notice that they are shutting down in November "due to unforeseen personal circumstances", which makes me think it's just one or two people (how could a real company be shut down by personal circumstances?). There are no announcements on their website, and it appears they are still willing to take people's money for their "unlimited" hosting packages, which is extremely unethical. If you were wondering how single payment, unlimited hosting would be sustainable, I guess the answer is that it's not and I was a fool to think that it was (just like the lifetime cloud backup plan I bought on StackSocial that eventually just evaporated). If the deal seems too good to be true compared to market rates, it probably is and ibrave is a case study in that.
POOR CUSTOMER SUPPORT.Weeks and months have passed without receiving any support. Trying to remove websites as support is no existent and I want it on my own reseller plan.
I bought the life time hosting plan, used it for a year without issues and generally the tickets where answered on time when I needed assistance however of late my emails are bouncing and have been requesting help with no assistance in sight and dozen of unanswered tickets. I'm hosting about 5 domains and they are all experiencing the same problem.
Like many here, I cannot log in to my control panel. I have opened two tickets and contacted them twice using the pre-sales form. It's been nearly two weeks and I've received no response whatsoever. The SSL certificate isn't working and I can't do anything about it. Hosting is worthless if you can't get to your control panel and nobody ever responds to you.

Websites are working for now, but might go down, who knows!TIP: for anyone with WordPress installed, you can install File Manager plugin in your WordPress to access your hosting directory and download any files you need. Try to back up your websites before it's totally gone. For those who are praising and defending iBrave, a simple reply to the ticket with "don't worry, we are fixing it" helps. Disappearing from the scene, looks shady and rightfully so, please can call you a scam when you don't show your face.
I came here to post a review after having seen a bunch of false reviews on reddit berating iBrave based only on speculation. Not one of those in that "reddit mob" was an actual iBrave client.For me, as I am an active client of iBrave for the past two years? Have found them to be a good service and have provided me worry free, inexpensive hosting. And while I do have small complaints about their after sales support? Truth be told? While they don't 'hold your hand' they do instead give you links and videos as an alternative. Not bad when you find that you have saved hundreds of dollars on hosting!

UPDATEA few days ago, I regained access to the control panel after about a month of no access. I was able to make a full backup of my files via FTP, which saved me hundreds if not thousands of hours of work. Also, I was able to reestablish my SSH/SFTP user as well as all other functions.Furthermore, after the reestablishment, I am now able to access my control panel directly via cp.ibrave.io, a feature I had requested the very first days of use two years ago. For the benefit of the doubt (maybe no other major breakdown will occur), and since the price/value ratio is unbeatable, I upgrade to four stars for now. I have been using it since and has been very happy about it. Then, on March 31, 2024 I lost access to my files and settings. I'm a current user of ibrave.io. I have 3 websites running under it. Their Unlimited plan is what it says it is. No complaints so far. The user interface isn't as intuitive as you'd hope, but they are relatively new. But I wouldn't call this a scam. Rather they are looking to obtain subscribers with a low entry cost. There are additional add-on services they look to provide so there is a source of income.
