Is i-bidder.com Legit?

Be careful of this website! They have all the bidders hidden( which is not transparent because you don’t know who is bidding against you) and on any action they have back people that they constantly bidding to rise up the price where actually they want to be on the time of action which is not legat at all

Supreme auctions Sheffield, This company gives online auctions a bad name, I live approx 200 miles away so am unlikely to view lots before auction, I like lots of other bidders rely on the description and online photographs of the lots we wish to bid on, however this auction company contrives to display pictures of the lots they call stock photos which is not what you will get if you win any lot, it has happened a few times to me as a regular bidder, they show lots with batteries and chargers but you will get only bare units, which is misrepresentation of the lots, which is very bad business and possibly illegal. I will be reporting them to trading standards for this shoddy practice.I camplained to their customer services which was a waste of time as they told me to read their terms of reference, which I have done a few times, all it says is that there may be parts missing with the lot, however the point being you bid on what you see in their photos as they present them. It is such a shock when you bid on an item you believe you see and all you get sent is junk. Auctioneer users beware of this company and its shoddy practices.How Ibidder allows this to happen is beyond me.

I bought two items in the past two months. The first item was advertised as three pieces, but only one was given to me. Secondly, I purchased a chainsaw machine. I was also sent a grass trimmer, which was also advertised, but no one bid for it. I don't think you should be bidding online without seeing the item. There may be more to their business model than what meets the eye.

And I recevied 50 psc to same style swim top unbranded and 50 psc to same swimsuit but abnormal big size bikini unbranded too it's no mix it's china shit

I recently fell victim a scam orchestrated through i-bidder.com. I won auction lot #84349Title:2004 Atlas Copco XASM 286 diesel screw compressor, fast tow, 4 cylinder Mercedes turbo engine--> Google the Title and you find the original lot on eBay.My advice: Steer clear of i-bidder.com!

Unfortunately I did like the sight until was scammed for alot of money . As others have stated you sight breeds low life ripping people off. All the good auctions are going to lose out because companies like assett auctions who are stealing people's money will drive people everyone away. I will be using the saleroom in future

Hi bought a jet washer through this on receiving item no box tatty missing item nothing like picture on site (supreme) and power cable had been sliced through so cannot use?? Customer services from both companies was pathetic. Beware how you go daylight robbery!!!!!

I hadn't used my account for a while, and had difficulty getting back in. Monique on livechat was great, she understood immediately what i needed and made it very easy for me to get back into my account. It was great dealing with a human being rather than struggling to get past a chat bot. Well done i-bidder.

I gave them 1 star as you can’t give zero. Sold as returns of mainly clothing and shoes. Nothing in the boxes was clothing and nothing was unknown. All the goods had been removed from original packaging and placed into other packets. Lots of very broken glass. Do yourself a favour and stay well away from these con men.

This is Oliver Wheeler from Archer and Reeves Ltd. We have been let down by suppliers and also lost a case with a liquidator over who actually owns the stock purchased and sold via ibidder on the 6 Nov. I am now personally refunding everyone their money spent with us and have already started the process including a few of the people who have left messages below. This may take some time as resources are very low but the process has started and will continue until everyone has received their money. As soon as the last person is paid back Archer and Reeves Ltd will close for good. We thank you for your continued patience.

On 19 August I authorised a £200 refundable payment to Charles Taylor Auctioneers so that I could bid in their auction on 22–23 August. I bought nothing. Two payments of £200 were taken, one to Charles Taylor, one to i-bidder. They deny taking the second payment, they claim to have refunded the first one.But I have not had either payment refunded, so there is a gaping £400 hole in my bank account. Charles Taylor refunded £200 on 22 August. i-bidder say they only took a 10p test payment. I've asked Monzo many times to look into this but have yet to have any satisfaction.

bought me first car on there and have very bad experience,dont thrust what you see on foto,read carefully description!!! I win Land Rover Discovery4 is cost me £7500 me car come without front headlights and front grille,on foto car lux like new but that it vas described that me fold i been not accurate!!! For some reason after using the site for 4 years , they decided to suspend our account , No email , No phone number that can be contacted , the usual useless live chat that did absolutely nothing . We spent £8700 on the site on thursday , paid the bill then got suspended on friday . Probably spent over £50,000 on there in the last 4 years and they wont even answer the telephone . Useless customer service even when you spend a lot of money with them. Avoid them like the plague .

The mechanics of the auction was straight forward, the staff were friendly and polite, viewing items is advised as description doesn’t highlight if it’s new or returned.I bought a Disney Halloween set in a new & customer returns auction. Unfortunately for me there were items missing from set. However the price paid made it an easier pill to swallow. I guess I will need to buy another set in order to complete the set!

Getting an item for £1600 worst £100 very bad + they threatened me on the phone if I’m not paying for the item is gonna be legal action what a joke those people and sending the second invoice after you pay the first one so no option I have to pay it I noticed discrepancies in the item descriptions versus the actual products received. It felt misleading, and I was left feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. Transparency is crucial in any auction setting, and I expected better from a service of this nature.I urge Cambridge auctions to contact me directly to discuss my concerns and hopefully resolve these issues. I believe that open dialogue could lead to improvements that benefit all users in the future.Overall, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I would caution potential bidders to proceed with caution

Buyer beware. Be VERY careful. The listings are (deliberately?) vague. Doesn’t state new/used or even working. Pictures often unclear . T & c’s say to check goods before leaving the premises but no opportunity to do so. Twice bitten with this company. There won’t be a third time.

Ibidder itself is a good platform for making auction bids from reputable auctioneers, however they do allow scammers (eg. supreme auctions) to sell scrap on their site with absolutely no comeback.If they were to stop these companies from selling on their site, everybody except the dishonest auctioneers would be happy.

Just recently won Baylis and Harding The Ultimate Men's Kit lot from Haddon & James auctioneers for a great price, and to top it off they gave me free delivery. It arrived promptly too and was well packaged. So kudos to H&J for providing a first-class experience.

I have used i-bidder for several years. It's a pretty faultless system and I have never had a problem with it throughout. It keeps me updated on lots I am searching for, notifies me in good time and the process of registering, bidding, buying and paying is seamless. A great service that I would even pay a subscription to access. My only small criticism would be that i-bidder occasionally works with auction houses who set minimum bids. Sellers are looking for a fast sale, buyers are looking for a bargain - that's the whole premise and purpose of online auctions. Minimum bids make it more like visiting a shop and sometimes, those minimum bids are almost open market value, which is a bit silly.
