hugsleep.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives hugsleep.com a medium-high trust score on the platform: 75.4. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 75.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to hugsleep.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning hugsleep.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between hugsleep.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of hugsleep.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of hugsleep.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. hugsleep.com is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether hugsleep.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether hugsleep.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, hugsleep.com.

I received a wrap for my birthday and I absolutely love it so I went back to buy another!!! It is super soft and comfortable, with a bit of weight that adds to the overall compression which I can control with how I wrap it around my body. Seriously the best crossover for the best sleep!
First, I needed a size medium but accidentally ordered a small. I immediately noticed the error after I placed the order, and nowhere on the website was I able to do anything other than email Hug Sleep Support, which I did immediately (within 3 minutes of submitting the order). The next day, I received a correspondence saying my order was already in production and couldn’t be adjusted in any way. So I had to wait a week for the wrong size item to ship to my home. Next, I tried the Sleep Move Pod anyway since I am on the border between small and medium, according to the chart on the website. Since I didn’t like it and was still well within the 30-day try-it-out period, I decided to take advantage of the “hassle-free returns” advertised on the site. I ordered a bundle (the Sleep Move pod, carrying case, and eye mask). When I initiated the return, I was made aware that only the Sleep Move pod was returnable; I would have to keep the $11 carrying pouch and the $22 eye mask. In addition, I have to deduct $11 from my refund to pay for the shipping back to Hug Sleep. So now I’m stuck with items I don’t want and out $42 for taking a chance on this small business that advertises its no-risk guarantee all over its website. I would never recommend anyone try Hug Sleep due to their terrible customer service.
The company touts this as a good thing for anxiety and a whole host of things. It is not a comfortable way to sleep. They would not take it back even though it was a Christmas gift for my autistic grandson. I urged him to try several times but by then, it was past the 30 days. Crappy product, crappy policy.
This is hands down the best thing I have ever tried for PTSD, including all the sleep medications, routines, therapies, etc. I sleep so much more deeply but without the disturbing nightmares. I don't wake up sore from tossing and turning into weird angles. It isn't too hot like weighted blankets, and I love having my feet free bc they get too hot easily. This thing is like my new best friend.
We ordered two pods and received our Hug Sleep Pods shortly after ordering. After 4 months one of our pods was coming apart due to poor stitching. We contacted the company and we received a response quickly, saying that four months was “extended use” and they are unwilling to stand behind their product. This speaks volumes about how good (or bad) they believe their product to be. I took it to our local alterations and they repaired it for us. Shame on hugsleep for not even offering to pay for a repair on a product that should stand up to four months of sleep wear. Think twice before ordering from a company that doesn't stand behind it's product.
Ordered to Europe from the USA. When opened it after arriving inside was a dirty towel and on closet inspection the package had signs of tampering, contacted their support by email, sent photos and was patient, they are now ignoring me completely for weeks sending them so many emails. Absolutely AWFUL experience
I wanted one of these so badly! Asked my son for one in October 2023. He bought it immediately and didn't gift it to me until Christmas (almost 12 weeks later). He accidentally got the wrong size. I asked Hug Sleep if I could exchange for a different size. They said sent a generic link to fill out a return. I found out that it was outside of the 30-day window for "returning" the item. I emailed back and explained the situation, and also that I did not want to return to receive money back, but simply exchange for a larger size, which they could send to me after they received the original (brand new, unused) item back at their facility. Two emails later and no response. I had to go to their website and start a new customer support inquiry. I got the same reply of basically - Sorry to hear that, unfortunately it's not eligible for return/exchange. I told them how disappointing it was, how easy of a fix this was and that $109 was a lot of money for my son. All because he bought a Christmas gift early to ensure he got it, he wasted his money and I didn't even get a Hug Sleep I can use. I also informed them that I would write the incident in reviews to inform others. I gave them 4 days to rectify and -- nothing. So here we are. As much as I wanted one, I wouldn't take one from someone if they gave it to me for free. I wouldn't support a business who treats their customers like this.
Waste of money and time. Product doesn't work. Company customer service is super difficult to deal with and flat out lies compared to what their website says. My sleep got worse w the product. Don't waste your money.
I FINALLY got my refund after my second round of the credit card dispute. Hug Sleep had my returned item in their possession for 73 days before they finally gave me a refund. I am convinced if I hadn't filed all the complaints with various organizations along with my credit card dispute I wouldn't have received a refund at all!Hug Sleep lies. They told several organizations they answered all my communications. They answered 50% of my emails, none of my voice messages, none of my Facebook chat messages, and erased all my unanswered posts from their Facebook site. They lied and told me and other agencies they couldn't issue a refund while a credit card dispute was open. That is utterly NOT TRUE. I called my credit card company and they said a refund can be issued any time and the dispute would be closed. Hug Sleep plays every delaying game they can to draw out giving you your refund.Document everything with them. Save every email yours and theirs. Take screenshots of any chats, Facebook posts, etc. They erase Facebook posts fast (the ONLY thing they do fast!)I usually don't say this about a company, but I hope they fail big time. I am so disgusted with them! Also please file a complaint about Hug Sleep with the Better Business Bureau, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (this is the state where Hug Sleep is based), and their web host, Shopify. This site won't let me post web links but if you go to my Facebook page, aria.otherly, the links are in my top post.Good Luck!
I decided to try the hug sleep because I like being tucked in a blanket. They offer a 30 money back guarantee so what could go wrong? I tried it for 3 nights and I found it uncomfortable because my arms were restrained too tightly. Here is where the FUN starts. I tried to reach the company re: how to return. When you try to use the text correspondence with their representative NO ONE would respond. Also let me mention they DO NOT have a phone number so there is no way to call them to speak with a human. I received an email that said I needed to return the item with a print out of my original email confirmation (which I had deleted). I was also to have it shipped to them anyway I wanted (on my $$$) also that I should use a method that provided tracking so I could make sure it was received. I tried to contact them again to tell them I did not have the original email. I was not about to send without instructions as to what I should do. NOTHING! ZERO! I could not reach them again after multiple tries. I turned it over to my credit card company as a dispute. Not sure how it will end. Save yourself the trouble. If you still want to try it I recommend you buy thru Amazon to help minimize the potential trouble I’ve experienced.
Terrible customer service. Also ordered from UK so paid quite a bit extra for shipping. Took forever to get out to post, then forever to get to UK. Then one day I checked on status and it said it had been delivered!! It had not. So I reached out to customer service. They said check with the post office. Did - which is in a convenience store here, and they looked at me like I was crazy. Package missing in London. Stop the presses. I let them know and they told me to FILE A POLICE REPORT!! Are you kidding? Waste of time. They said since it was flagged as delivered they couldn’t do anything. So I might try to dispute it with my CC but who knows. Such a bummer. Why would I waste all this time if I was trying to swindle them? Stupid.
My Husband purchased this product for me as a gift since I have a hard time sleeping. He was so excited to give it to me and I was thrilled to try it. We watched videos on it and waited eagerly for bedtime so I could try it. Bonus points, it’s made in the USA and it was started by a husband and wife team with a neat back story. Who wouldn’t want to support that, my Husband knows me well. I slipped into it easily enough and got myself situated but immediately noticed that the seams around the feet and legs were INCREDIBLY uncomfortable and poking out. I wanted it to work so badly that I kept trying all night, not only were the seams bulky, it also was not providing much, if any compression. Finally the sensations were just unbearable, I could not sleep and I was getting itchy. So sadly I took it off and broke it to him the next morning. I let him know we needed to send it back…kinda weird to imagine someone laying inside this thing after I have already had it in bed with me all night, eeeew, I hope I got a new one!Flash toward my husband is bummed and emails customer service for a return label and tells them what is going on, it does not compress, has bulky uncomfortable seams etc. they tell my husband that I can turn it inside out like some other customers have done to see if that helps ( I tell him the seams are on both sides, it doesn’t compress and is itchy, kept me up all night and I’m just done with it) -they say he can return it and pay for the shipping. I’m frustrated at this point and so is he. So he goes back and forth with them about getting a return label and they just keep regurgitating back he is responsible for sending this thing back and thats their policy basically. They go on to say that they sell thousands of these and complaints are rare… and that we need to pay shipping to send it back if we want a refund. I was shocked at the quality when I found out what he paid for this and even more so at the customer service, how ridiculous! He paid $80 for a piece of scratchy, flimsy fabric and the company can’t even cover return shipping (which is cheaper for them than customers), they must count on a lot of returns to not even offer a return label. What company does that these days? I was able to find additional customer complaints on multiple websites regarding the product and return policy. Not surprising.Really bad customer service honestly, I feel bad for my husband and wish it would have been the product it was advertised to be. Do not waste your money or energy on this company or product. If you need evidence read the reviews including the BBB complaint where they insult a customer for making a claim. Super sad it did not work out, so many things had me wanting this company and product to be a win.

- Score:
“Zero customer support refuse to refund”
Stay away from this company! The product is crappy, flimsy, hot, and way overpriced. Trying to get a refund on the product is really hard. 1. They have NO customer support number 2. They make you email them to get return info 3. Their "live" chat is a chatbot which you to maneuver through. 4. When you finally get a real person on chat, they can't even answer any questions about my return which they received over a month ago. They told me to email them! 5. Emailed them 2 weeks ago, no response. 6. Tried to contact them on Facebook, they erased all my posts. 7. Opened up a credit dispute, waiting for response. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
