hubblecontacts.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives hubblecontacts.com a medium trust score on the platform: 53. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Questionable. Minimal Doubts. Controversial.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 53 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to hubblecontacts.com's industry. The algorithm detected possible high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Questionable. Minimal Doubts. Controversial. tags above. Long story short, we recommend using caution when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning hubblecontacts.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between hubblecontacts.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of hubblecontacts.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of hubblecontacts.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. hubblecontacts.com is a dubious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether hubblecontacts.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether hubblecontacts.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, hubblecontacts.com.

Hubbl charged me for Kayo and Binge despite me never having a Binge subscription with themIt took me ages to get to the point of a human supposedly addressing my concerns. I sent a photo of the credit card invoice and highlighted the total was different to the subscription price for the Paramount Plus, which he told me was the charge. I asked how it stated Binge was the charge and why the subscription cost didn’t match Paramount Plus. I got no response. Very difficult to exit your subscription like most of these and far easier to enter a subscription. The government does need to crack down on this rort. Shame on you Kyle and on your employer.
The hubbl is great we have all the streaming services we use in one and we love to use it. There are no flaws at all. We used to not have a remote for our tv cause my son broke it when he was little but with the hubbl remote you can turn off the tv and turn up the volume on the hubbl and free to air. Definitely recommend getting one!
In the all too often sleazy world of on-line contact lens companies, Hubble Contacts stands out as one of the worst.I ordered contact lenses through Hubble and they, unknowingly and without my permission, enrolled me in a costly re-ordering progam. I caught Hubble’s deception when reviewing my credit card statement. Hubble Contacts never:Notified me I’d been enrolled to a re-ordering program.Notified me I’d been billed for for this program.Use Hubble at your own risk!
We just cancelled our subscription as we were not getting what we paid for, and when the wife rang up to find out how to fix she just got the run around so I said I was NO longer paying for Crap that you can't even ring up to find out how to fix. Anyone thinking about trying Hubbl Hub DO NOT BOTHER. I still think others out there are BETTER
I received a one months supply for only $1+free shipping! I used the chat feature and was quickly connected to customer service to find out where to leave this review.... I love the contact lenses they are a great fit and don't dry my eyes at all.... The product shipped very quickly to me... Thank you Hubble!
Have already cancelled my subscription only to be charged again today! Out of nowhere. Is it legal to make it this difficult to cancel subscriptions? Maybe we should all lobby Parliament to make customer requests to cancel subscriptions automatic without the runaround or company needing to contact you back to delay the process. Surely this constitutes some kind of fraud while the company keeps charging you while you wait for them to cancel. What a scam,
Apparently they've stopped services in the UK - they email me saying they wouldn't be restocking my lenses (not that they were ceasing trading) on September 12th and still took payment on September 14th. Disconnected phone numbers and chat features so I can't get through to customer service. Didn't even know they'd ceased trading til I came on trustpilot - no updates or info on their social media or UK website. I want my money back.
I personally seem to get along with these contacts really well! They sit really comfortably in my eye and are not drying at all! I work as a flight attendant so often some contacts get dry during a flight but Hubble stay soft and secure all day/night/flight! Really easy to cancel subscription as well if needed to and prompt delivery every month!!
Excellent service. Great prices. Had one issue last month where payment wasn’t going thru and instead of causing me further hassle sent out a free box until they could fix the issue. Couldnt recommended them more. I’ve tried other services and prefer this service and product.
I wish I could order some colored contact lenses with the 30 pack of lenses for $1 that would be awesome because I love ordering the 30 trial pack of lenses using different email addresses and different names on the order from. Therefore I can sneak by the radar and not get my order denied. Please take into consideration the possibility of giving us one pair of colored lenses with our first order. Thank you very much for your time.
If I could give it a minus million I would. I am still charged when I’ve cancelled for months. Can’t get off it and it’s pissing me the fcuk off. Don’t even try and message me ablout getting help cause it’s no help. I don’t need this shiiiteee
They basically did not ship my package on time, blamed it on UPS and now deactivated my account for being upset that I have had to reuse the same pair of contacts for over 3 weeks now. They said they would ship another set asap on Sunday. It is now Wednesday and the package has yet to leave their facility. I will be dropping them and finding someone more capable of doing their jobs!
I've been buying Hubble contacts for the past 3 years and have never had any problems with the product of customer service.A few times I've had to email customer service to ask for a detailed invoice and they've been very helpful and quick to respond. The contacts have always lasted all day (12 hours+) without any issues. However, in the past few months, I've noticed more and more that a few in every batch are causing a bit of irritation, whether popping out of my eye or scratched / broken. I'm starting to wonder if they've recently changed suppliers or something because I've never had problems like this in the past.
Customer service is useless. When requesting to cancel my monthly subscription, they kept sending me a bs scripted response spouting the same jargon over and over. Anytime I try sending emails to their customer service regarding my direct debit, they use their ai chat bot to reply. Would not recommend - also on a side note I have worn their contacts for 2 years and as a result my eyes were feeling extremely tired and after having had my eyes tested they said that the cheap lenses I had been wearing were not allowing enough oxygen in.Never cheap out on your eyes, I'd recommend specsavers
Didn't know that they've stopped services in the UK until I read a review here on Trustpilot. No e-mail or message on anywhere to indicate that. I don't want my money to be taken from a service that doesn't exist, please cancel my subscription.
Terrible company. The contacts are uncomfortable and expensive for the quality. They are also impossible to cancel. I have emailed, used the online chat and tried to cancel online on the website but they make it very difficult. They charge money and send packs out unless you skip a pack on the website which you don’t remember to do every month. Absolutely awful customer service and hours spent trying to do something very simple. Steer well clear!
These are the absolute best contacts I’ve ever worn! I’ve tried every brand I’d heard of, and every kind from my doctors office, and NONE compare (even the most expensive!) They stay comfortable all day long, and I never have to readjust or use eye drops or remove.
I have been a loyal customer for years because of price and convenience. Today, I cancelled my subscription. Hubble had a “technical issue” which resulted in my automatic shipment… never shipping. It was their mistake yet they still couldn’t overnight me the contacts. It’s 2023. People rely on you for their VISION. There is absolutely ZERO reason you can’t have an overnight option for when you screw up.The customer service rep was fine but the manager didnt have the guts to get on the phone and talk to a loyal, upset customer. He or she left his employee out to dry instead. Disgraceful.
I tried several different types of contact lenses through well known opticians and none were quite right. Then I tried Hubble for £1 trial for a month and the lenses were fantastic. Comfortable and easy to put in, the deliveries are quick and efficient and the staff if very helpful as I discovered when I wanted to change my prescription. I couldn't be happier with them and can't recommend them enough!
So comfortable!! Honestly the best lenses I’ve ever EVER worn in 18+ years! I can wear them morning til night with no dryness or discomfort and I suffer quite badly with dry eye so finding a contact lenses I can wear all day has been a real struggle. I’ve previously paid fortunes for lenses in the past but they’re not a scratch on Hubble contacts. Recommend 1000%!!!

“I'd rate -5 stars if I could”

I'd rate -5 if I could cause from the contacts to the customer service, I've had the worst time with this company. The contacts hurt after awhile and leave your eyes feeling dry as hell and it always feels uncomfortable. The customer service phone lines and chats are all useless cause they don't know anything either. If they say they'll direct you to a higher management or that someone will call you to resolve a problem, it's a lie because there is no number to call nor is there anyone that's going to call you. I hope they do better in the future but I'm very disappointed with this company. Tip for consumers:Don’t Products used:Contacts Service Value Returns Quality

“Daily's > Monthly's”

These contacts are by far the best I have come across. I have yet to have an issue with having them on time, and it's so nice to not having to worry about putting them into solution at the end of the day. Just take them out and throw them away, and onto a fresh pair the next day. If there is a way to give Hubble a rating higher than 5 I would.

“Happy Overall-Some improvements could be made”

I think this is a great service. My prescription is low and does not require frequent eye doctor visits or the cost of mainstream contact lenses. This has been a blessing. Some things I have noticed, however, are the cheap seeming quality of the lenses. They are very flimsy. I've also noticed that they get dry pretty early on in the day which is an experience I haven't had with other brands. I also wish there was an option to choose your own billing date (within reason) so that if you run out faster or need to hold off for a week or so, you have the option to do it rather than the 28-56 day window that's available now. Overall, I'm really happy with this convenient service.

“Comfy and On Time!”

I tell everyone I know that has vision problems about this brand of contacts. They're more comfortable than something you'd get out of a doctor's office and just as professionally handled. I've also never had a late shipment!

“So easy!”

I hesitated for a few months before trying these, but wish I had sooner. I have needed daily contacts for several years due to problems with infections and sensitivity with monthly and weekly uses lenses. My vision insurance at work didn't cover a lot, so I still ended up paying a lot out of pocket for daily lenses. I like Hubble because I can pay by the month instead of a large sum all at once. They also use very minimal packaging, which seems much more environmentally friendly (and makes me feel a tiny bit less guilty about using daily disposable lenses); all of their packaging is also easily recyclable. I have contacted customer service on one occasion, due to me submitting part of my prescription wrong, and they fixed the problem immediately. My eyes are very sensitive, and I find the contacts comfortable, easy to wear, and non-irritating.

“My Experience with Hubble.ai”

I had a terrible experience with hubble.ai. The website was plagued with technical difficulties during the checkout process, which wasted a lot of my time and caused frustration. The customer service was equally disappointing, with slow response times and unhelpful representatives who seemed indifferent to my concerns. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“You get what you paid for”

The delivery has always been great. The contacts could use improvement, they should have better options for fit and prescriptions. The contacts are a little drying, some can be throw aways but hey that's what you get for the price

“Decent Contacts”

The contacts are reasonably priced and the quality is decent. Every now and then you'll get a few that have no strength, are thin and will move around your eye even with eye drops. But most of them seem to be ok. The quality of the contacts used to be better. I don't know if they changed the material or are cutting corners but 99% of them used to work well and held up throughout the day. Now it's more around 60-70%.

“The shipping has gotten awful.”

I used to love Hubble. I have used them for years and suggested them to many people. I will say they must have switched shipping services. I know they currently use ups innovations now and I have had my last two shipments "have issues in shipping." Both times I have had to complain and got the "shipping is not in our control." Now I could give grace for this happening once, but twice in a row...NO. Basically, now both shipments in total took over 20 days to arrive to me. I used to have them arrive within 5 days. That is unacceptable. I basically go those 20 days with no contacts which is pretty awful. I am not asking for much, but maybe when a re-shipment is needed to be sent a customer service agent could have the ability to send it two day shipping... What I got is, I am sorry there is nothing we can do it is not our fault and your shimpent may arrive within the next 5-7 business days. I need to find a new contact service...

“Nope!”

The process of getting you a sample for a few bucks and then signing you up for more contacts than you would ever buy, is shady at best, immoral and possibly illegal at its worst. I advise highly against Hubble and their business model.

“Overcharged for poor contact lenses”

Do not get suckered into the $3 trial offer. They send send you another "monthly" set with in 2 weeks and charge you $36 and when you return them in the mail they keep $8 saying I should have read their facts page. Plus my daughter can't see out of them... so much for a free trial offer!

“Terrible Service without Representative Help”

I recently ordered contacts through Hubble Contacts online. The first box was at a discounted price yo try them out yo see if it's a good fit for the consumer. I tried them for a week, and decided to cancel. They had already sent a full shipment which was on the way in the mail. I called yo speak with a representative and was told to return the unopened box for a refund which had already been charged to my account. After returning the unopened box of contacts, I have yet to receive my refund. I have spoken to a representative 3 times with 4 emails exchanged. I am very dissatisfied with their Customer Service and lack for Consumers! I will NEVER do Business with them again...!

“"0"”

If I could rate a zero I would! They sign you up for a subscription when you pay $3 for a trial! I went to the site, logged in with the email they have on file, no past orders and no subscription! Yet I'm charged $40 for a subscription?!?!?! They WILL NOT refund! Hate the contacts, not worth even the $3! Company is a joke! Extremely disappointed!

“They're horrible”

You sign up for a trial then you realize then don't make the base curve according to your prescription because they're limited so cannot wear the contact lens. You look for option to cancel but because they desperately needed money you have to call them. On top of that they don't refund. DONT try them. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Great if you love cutting corners and getting scammed.”

I did the $1 for the first month. I did not like them. I cancelled my subscription. MONTHS later they took money out of my account, out of the blue, when I didn't even have any money in that account, causing it to go into the negative. Not only that, but pretty sure anybody could go on there without a real prescription and they will send out contacts. Sketchy. I don't know how they are legal.

“Canceling is very difficult”

Canceling the subscription is very difficult. They demand you call their customer service rather than a simple cancelation via their website or through email. I have emailed them multiple times asking to stop charging my card and they will not allow it.

“Awful product, worse customer service”

The lenses provided are the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced. This is because they are me a from an out dated material, that will not let enough oxygen to your eye. There is not enough time for the trial before they take money for the first subscription. So you are stuck waiting ages for lenses you don't want to arrive. The customer service is awful, they can't be bothered, shout at you, hang up (repeatedly), it will take over 2 hours for them to send a label for return. Of courae i still have to wait for the lenses to comee before i can return them. Then the time to process the refund. I had to order from another provider so have paid twice for lenses this month. I would recommend waldo or lenstore instead. You will probably save money and less chance of something nasty happening to your eyes. I should have done more research before signing up. Don't make my mistake. Avoid Hubble at all costs

“Poor quality of service”

I have tried and tried to get my account credited and they keep taking money out of my bank account. I have requested refunds an have never gotten one credit any respond from them. I am very disappointed from Hubble Contacts. Would not recommend them.

“Sneaky... so sneaky”

I signed up for a trial. They didnt fit... I wasnt sure why they kept sending a new box month to month... later in the year, I've going over my expenses and "oh hello, hubble monthly fees"... So now I have months of unopened contacts that dont fit me and hubble made a few hundred bucks off me. What a douchey company.

“Useless”

They made me take an eye exam three different times because they wouldn't except the exam I gave them. Then the doctor chose to not help me. I was told Hubble wasn't the right choice for me. When I reviews the eye exam their doctor had written it backwards. Save your time go with a competitor. Service

“Big Mistake”

I had only just recieved the trial boxes before I was charged for the first months subscription and hadn't had the chance to try them yet. If I had, I definitely would have canceled before because they are horrible contacts. I've worn contacts most of my adult life and have literally never had an issue with dry eyes, but these contacts make my eyes dry and itchy and I can't wear them longer than an hour or two before it becomes intolerable, my eyes get all red and watery and I start getting a headache. Never expected this problem. And on top of that, they refuse any refunds in the US, even completely unopened boxes and even if their contacts cause you physical harm. Tip for consumers:Cancel before you get the trial box, in case you don't like them. You won't get another chance and you won't get a refund. Then if you do like them you can resubscribe. Products used:The daily disposables contacts Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Watch your account - they take your money”

I tried a trial pair of contacts from Hubble. Once i tried them, I did not like them. I reached out via the phone and cancelled my account. They charged me twice that month for contacts. I have called and emailed and they verified my account has been closed since July, but they continue to charge me each month. The person I have been dealing with states they have a second account for me. It was opened up under my mothers email after I called to cancel in July and asked them to send her a confirmation. I asked for a refund and they refused - I have not received any contacts from this company with the exception of the trial pair, and I am being charged monthly for contacts I have NEVER RECEIVED! Run away from this company.

“Horrible”

Don't waste your money! I ordered contacts from my son and I from Hubble. I usually order through one 800 contacts but I like the idea that I would get a new box every single month without thinking about it. The fit was horrible and so was our vision. The contact Lense was obviously much smaller and made of a much thinner material. I'm sure this is to cut corners and provide a cheaper contact at a lower price point. I wouldn't have minded except that we could not see. Our prescription on the box was correct but for some reason we both had blurry vision using these contacts. I tried to cancel several times but Hubble kept mailing us new boxes each month. When they finally canceled our order, they said they can only reimburse me for one month. We had eight months worth of contacts that I had paid for that I cannot use. The product is cheap and it doesn't work. Save your money and go somewhere else!

“SCAM”

I signed up to a 'FREE TRIAL', obviously they charged the £1 delivery which is fine. I have not received a single form of communication from them since. I haven't received the 'free trial' product. They have now charged me £30?! For What? I can't access any online account because they haven't sent me any emails to confirm my account. I've tried their online chat, but just get told I'll get email replies. I Doubt that will happen since I haven't received any emails from them so far. SCAM COMPANY, BEST TO AVOID. Tip for consumers:Shipping time is not applicable since I have never received. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Absolutely not”

I might as well just put shards of glass in my eyes because these are exactly what they feel like. If you want to buy from Hubble thinking they are a cheaper option, don't.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

Are You the Owner of hubblecontacts.com?

If you own hubblecontacts.com, we’d love to hear from you. If you'd like to challenge the trust score we’ve assigned, we’re happy to take a closer look. However, please be prepared to provide solid proof of your business's legitimacy. Introduce yourself with your name (not just "Admin").

When domain owners contact us to dispute their trust score, we kindly ask for the following:

* Business documentation that verifies your legitimacy (e.g., certificate of incorporation, business registration, or official records with the site or business name).

* Your personal LinkedIn profile and the business's social media accounts (e.g., Facebook).

* If available, proof of satisfied customers (e.g., screenshots, not just testimonials on your website), evidence of inventory, or records of handling order cancellations properly.

We’re more than willing to update your review based on the evidence you provide—the more proof, the higher your trust score. Please note, however, that we cannot verify non-operational websites or those redirected to other URLs. Additionally, we do not verify websites involved in high-risk financial services, gambling, adult content, or illegal activities.

Please send the following via email to [email protected].
