Is hpinstantink.com Legit?

I have 2 HP printers in my household that I thought were linked to instant ink - 1. HP Envy Inspire 7400 which I receive instant ink for and (my wife's Printer) which is an HPEnvy 5544 which receives no ink replacements when the printer runs out of ink. I pay good money for this service and expect to get results for my instant ink membership for both printers (named above) . Secondly it is impossible to communicate with HP Instant Ink UK to solve this issue and I also thought I was registered online for instant ink orders...which I was not because my log indetails were not recognised and when I attempted to re-register on the 9th December it would not allow me to because apparently both my printers are [supposedly] Registered already. this upsets me and also angers me to a degree. I want this resolved Muy Pronto (which means faster than fast to those who do not understand)

I am cancelling my subscription because my monthly page requirement varies so much that I often find myself being charged extra, or having spare ink. I now have four instant ink cartridges that I will not be able to use up beyond the cancellation date. What a waste!

Update: suddenly getting responses on whats app, new cartridge on the way. Not sure what was going on with the support first time but the person who responded the following day was efficient and has sent out a new cartridge. Much happier now. Original post below.Had a faulty black ink cartridge sent. Tried cleaning it and the printer head - worked on and off and eventually ran out.The dashboard says they cannot determine how much ink is left and so cannot send me a new cartridge. This was over a year ago and whilst the tri-colour cartridges have been sent fine still no black ink. Contacted several times - no response. Finally contacted via the Whats app support, started the conversation and promised help and two different agents just stopped responding. Wasted over an hour messaging and waiting for responses.

The problems started when I got the hp envy printer. Black ink printhead kept drying out. Had to wipe the black ink cartridge printhead before printing. The final straw was the black ink cartridge was completely empty, but printer showed 1/4 full. Instant ink didn’t not send another cartridge yet. Had to find another printer to complete my project. Cancelled instant ink and bought a tank printer.

I had a delivery issue that was quickly and helpfully resolved. Thanks HP.

Instant ink saves all the traditional hassle and most of the cost of ink cartridges, so is excellent value. Their help service by phone is easily contactable and very efficient, especially if you have an HP printer - also reliable and good value.

I have spent 3 hours so far today trying to get one of my TWO printers to work. I had one in my office away from my house, and one at home. I brought the office one home, and it hasn't worked since, just flashes ALL of the lights. No display so you can't tell what's wrong with it. The home one stopped working when we cancelled the instant ink to it. I cannot connect it to my work instant ink. Nothing works, HP Smart is useless. 3 hours later (on HP chat via whatsapp), I'm too upset to carry on trying to fix it. Not fit for purpose. Every option just takes you around in circles then fails or doesn't give you any further options. I called today and spent 37 minutes on the phone, the lady I spoke to was really helpful and understanding of my stress at it all not working. With her help we got one of the printers back on the right network and printing. I do think the app is almost useless, it's impossible to navigate. I've upgraded my review from 1 star to 3 based on the excellent customer service today, but overall I think a printer with no screen and no real way to see what's wrong with it is madness. How are we on 3D printers already when we haven't even mastered printing on paper?!

I thank you very much HP Instant Ink for responding to my urgent request of ink. The 1-855-785-2777 responder quickly sent me a black cartridge very much needed! I am an instant ink subscriber and noticed that only 3 cartridges were being sent to me when I was completely out of the black for my HP OfficeJet Pro 6978. His quick, professional and extremely helpful experience sent me the cartridge which I received today by an earlier date surprise than expected!! Thank you Very Much HP for all you do for your customers and I am a dedicate HP supporter! You are indeed the Best Ever service provider not to mention how outstanding your products are, of which I have purchased for the last 40 years and will continue to do so. I have appreciated being an Instant Ink subscriber..... Thank you again........10 STARS !!

I needed to update my billing and pay my bill. Kathleen was brilliant she knew what to do and acknowledged me as a loyal customer. She sorted everything in just under 4 minutes. I love this service. I never run out of ink. I always have enough paper. Thanks to instant ink and Kathleen's amazing service.

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. DO NOT BUY A HP PRINTER WITH HP INSTANT INK. I literally can’t even use my printer or any of the ink at all since I canceled the subscription. Whoever thought of this was absolutely money hungry and ridiculous. I am a homeschooling mom so I print a ridiculous amount of stuff and the plans they have are way overpriced and outrageous. I’m literally throwing my entire printer away because it’s literally useless now you can’t use the printer whatsoever if you cancel any of the subscriptions.

I'm only rating it 1 because I cannot rate it 0!!What an absolute shambles!! Cancelled my subscription bought official HP compatable in threw the extra 3 cartridges away that I hadn't used and my printer is STILL BLOCKED!! I don't NOT owe for any cartridges as HP has had £12 out of me but I've had no cartridges!! Going to get some advise about this as it screams of scamming! How dare you block my printer! I'd rather throw it away and buy something else! You are disgusting thieving idiots!!

Worst company in world, I wish that I wouldn't have replaced my old gold cannon printer.This is just ridiculous if I don't use subscription services ,I have brought two cartridges and non of them working .I have strong feelings they just cheat customers with annoying keep buy there subscription service.I wish they loose there job whoever making such decisions in hp..

Overall, HP Instant Ink Subscription has lived up to its promises. We have not once run out of ink. We are definitely spending less on ink than ever before. And, it's as simple as advertised. However, if you miss a payment (we got a new credit card and forgot to update) they lock you out of your printer. Period. We grabbed some cartigres at the local Office Depot as we HAD to print for work and it simply refused them and we had to wait 4 days for new ink from HP Instant ink to print. Super frustrating. Overall it's a good deal but now the printer you own is now at their mercy and they are not generous or kind. Just fyi...

Absolute unprofessional service forcing monthly payments to use the ink and the prices increasing. So charge £1.49 a month (from 0.99p) and then charge additional £3 for 10 pages… basically a way of forcing you to pay for a more expensive monthly price by high taxation per additional page on ‘lower’ monthly plans. Same tactic phone company’s use to make you buy additional data as a bolt on. I don’t think I’d use a HP printer again. In the 4 years only had 1 round of ink (1 black and 1 colour) so definitely not saving and puts the pressure on direct debits.

Don’t subscribe at all they are a scam..after paying monthly when I decided I didn’t need it anymore I cancelled my subscription, only to realise they have been taking money out of my account with another name that I didn’t pick up until a couple days ago. Luckily I got my money back from my bank and they have the cheek to email me saying we have disabled you account until you update your payment method. while taking the money out no ink been delivered even though I cancelled the subscription..don’t fall for it. DON’T BY SUBSCRIPTION!!!

I had a HP instant ink subscription for the past 2 and a half years. In that time I have never received any replacement cartriges (I am still using the initial ink cartriges). Working it out I have paid almost $100 ($2.99 per month) for the privilege of being able to print.When I checked my current ink levels they are at approximately 50%.I just cancelled my subscrition only to find my computer will no longer work. It seems if you cancel your subscription HP somehow manage to block your printer from working unless you use their cartriges.I will never buy HP again!!!!

I've used this service for several years and it worked well to begin with. However, the number of faulty cartidges seems to be increasing. This means that I get a cartidge which won't work, I go through the processes they suggest, it usually doesn't work and then they eventually send me a replacement. Meanwhile I can't use my printer. It's become very very disruptive for work and personal documents I need to print and so I'm going to cancel.

I joined HP instant ink 5 years ago. I appreciated the convenience of having the cartridge mailed to me. Recently a cartridge was sent to my old address in August and returned . I updated the address and expected that the cartridge would arrive the beginning of October. Never arrived. Contacted HP received a case number. Then received that the case was closed. I had to buy a cartridge st Walmart and when I placed it into the printer I immediately got a notice from Hp. After 45 minutes ‘talking’ to a live agent via texting,I finally said cancel my subscription because they were going to charge me for both the number of copies I printed and the monthly fee while I was using the cartridge I purchased from Walmart because Instant Ink didn’t get me their cartridge yet after 2 1/2 months waiting. So terminated the subscription. Convenience is the only plus. I wouldn’t recommend this service

Had an issue with my printer, got through to a tech rep , the chap was absolutely incredible, for a £5 a month Subscription the service was beyond great.

“HP INSTANT INK - THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE”

I had been a customer for years and paid on time (automatic charge monthly to my credit card), I contacted them by phone *******836 - for assistance Sept. 2022 and had to spend a lot of time going from recorded messages to automated assistance and after about 15 minutes of that I was placed on wait to speak to a live person - another 10 minutes I got to a live person but they had to transfer me to a different dept. and almost an hour, I gave up. I sent emails but no response. I tried a second time and had the same experience by phone so I canceled my account online and email. I bought ink cartridges at Staples and Walmart. This foolish company (HP Instant Ink) kept sending me messages that my account was past due! Their email messages state "do not reply"! I certainly wasn't going to try contacting them by phone again so I blocked them from my credit card. The instant ink plan seemed like a good deal but now that I am getting the cartridges on my own - that is better and no aggrevation if I need help. HP - once a good company, now is terrible.

0 stars for real. Charged me a bunch of money for too many pages but I still had an ink that wasn't opened.
