Is hitway.eu Legit?

I am from Germany, and I ordered BK2, it's very robust, perfect and dreamy E bike which is more than I expected. I bought it second time because my first one has been stolen so therefore l've been used it for several months now and everything is excellent. I also asked the help to customer service for some reason . I found they are Very responsive and solved problems immediately. I highly recommend buying bikes from them.

Avoid this company.Bike arrived and did not work.2 separate shipments of faulty parts replacement, a lot of back and forth on email and the bike still doesn't work.Company unable to offer a replacement so I have requested a refund.Company now ghosting me.I have initiated credit card charge back process.

I’ve ordered a bike with them on 26th of July. On the expected delivery date, the shipping company told me that the seller asked them to return the package because it was damaged in transportation.It’s back to where they shipped it from since 7th of August, yet Aurora keeps lying that it’s not with them. So they are basically thieves masked as a company.I’m currently starting legal procedures against Yunda (which actually sells under more brands one of them being hitway) and their owner. Unfortunately customer support is a Philippines based service contract so it’s more or less fictive, and actually useless.

The best purchase I made this year, runs perfectly uphill, smooth breaking, easy folding so I don't leave my bike outside I can take this into my place of work. Very well made bike. Customer services are excellent, very professional and helpful. I highly recommend purchasing from this company, and I thank them very much for their support.

This company only lets you use their chatline for personalised questions if you give them your email address first and agree to receive their promotions. Also, they don't offer a phone line - it's all by email. Frustration, because their products seem good but I will not support their Business Model.

We bought the Hitway BK11 7 months ago and it is a very cool and fun bike. A few weeks ago the bicycle suddenly exceeded the maximum speed of 25 km per hour. We contacted Hitway and they helped us well. By purchasing and installing a throttle, the bicycle could be reset to the permitted speed of 25 km per hour. We removed the throttle again because it is illegal in our country and we can enjoy cycling again. Thank you Hitway for the good solution and help!

Thieves- returned a bike because the pedal arm sheared off on the first ride and the tyres were not puncture proof ( which they advertised it, as getting a puncture on the second ride) and they haven’t refunded the money. Had the bike a week, returned it and two months later still no refund. Update another day, another email sent- still nothing from them. Further update 10’s of emails, a PayPal complaint, a credit card issue raised and a poor trust pilot review to get told they have received the item but it’s not been checked yet. They collected it a month ago and allege it’s been sat in the warehouse unchecked since then.

Purchased BK11, Feb 2024.We’ll constructed, very comfortable, excellent on hills, Company very co-operative on queries (eg Electronic Parameter Explanation) !Minor irritations:- 1. Gear spread a bit close ! Could do with one higher gear !2. Display stops indicating extra speed at set point for each power setting (10k in Power 1, 15k in Power 2, 20k in Power 3), very disconcerting, particularly when obviously going faster downhill !3. A bit on the heavy side, but makes the bike feel very safe !!4. Bike Padlock Combination jammed in locked position. Had to scrap !All in all, a very good bike! Would award 96/100 !!!We’ll worth the money !!!!!!

I bought bk9 and it was very good but had to return it due to not able to fit in the bike rack on the ferry provided, however, I rode the bike and it was great. Regretted returning it but had to cos that was my only means of commuting from the island and back, so had to change it for a smaller tyre. HITWAY was very considerate as they waived the usage cost of me but had to pay for shipping as their policy says if product is ok shipping is at the cost of the buyer. If you are looking to buy bk9 go for it as it’s a very goooood bike.

Bought bike didn’t arrive customer service is only active at 3am it appears No simple way to get money back and now out of pocket and lost a job because I was unable to attend due to constant broken promises from HITWAY EU*update Refund received but only after they tried gaslighting me by telling me that it was was with DPD when it was in FACT! in their warehouse the whole time they told me it was sent Monday twice before actually confirming it hadn’t left their warehouse at all! Tried to delay me finding a bike for work for their own personal gain hardly thinking of your customers first is it! I ALSO HAVE THE PROOF OF THEM LYING TO ME

I got the bk11 bike in March of this year and already so many problems have happened in a short amount of time the motor sounded like a motorbike when I was only going 10mph and it was embarrassing having people stare at me cus of it I emailed them I kid you not 20 times over 2 months and they would send repeated questions of stuff I've already tried and which i told them i did and they didn't believe me but eventually after 2 months, they offered to fix it they've sent it back and I've had to get the brakes replaced and back tire twice I'm so pissed I spent my money on this as I was hoping its be my new way of commuting around London

I bought a hitway bike and was very happy about it, I’ve been using it for a month now and everything is great. To be honest, this is the only store where I could buy a good bike, all my friends bought from them. I also asked the help to customer service. Very responsive and solved problems immediately. I highly recommend buying bikes from them.

They sell 1000 euro bikes. But a charger takes 30 days to deliver from china. No good cominucation. I did not get any notivication that it was deliverd. So they send back. Better by a bike from someware els.

Hitway H5 ABE (Germany) - very good product; good build quality and nice design. Very friendly customer support & also great help.

One of two E cycles I purchased from them has developed a fault with the righthand pedal. Teething problems which could so easily be sorted out. That is, if Hitway could be bothered to reply, or even acknowledge my emails about it. Customer service rating - Zero.Since I wrote this, I have had contact with Hitway and, they have said they will replace the pedal. I have not heard anything since other than them wanting to know more about this review. I will be back!20/06/2024 - Update. I now have the replacement pedals. Thank you

I live in Germany, and I ordered BK35, it's perfect and more than I expected, and they have a good customer service.

Just received and assembled…. My wife is now a biking go girl, so good to see the independence a bike can provide!Well done Hitway- now Fitway!!

I bought a Hitway BK11.. i absolutely love it, as with most people like myself who didn’t do much cycling before I am amazed at how much fun with so little effort. Bike looks great , customer service is excellent. I would recommend.

Please read carefully! NOT Safe!I contacted Hitway weeks ago, about all the things below. Unfortunately they did not respond. So here's a serious review.Purchased an electric folding bike in april 2023 (type BK6). While taking a turn the seat post, out of nowhere, bend through in the middle. I fell and suffred seriously injuries to my face and side. Contacted Hitway after this incident but Hitway prefers not respond..Besides this, unfortunately, is a list of all other things that went wrong with this bike withing a few months after purchasing.- Pedal bearings broke (on both sides)- Automatic speed limiter went from a maximum speed limit to unlimited...Electronics are of low quality- Low costumer service! Conclusion: Materials used are not compliant/safe for the purpose. Do not consider buying this bike if you wish to not get hurt and throw away your money

The Bk12 folding electric bike model is great for the Netherlands. The only way to ride vehicles such as trains, metro, trams and buses for free in Amsterdam and Rotterdam is to fold your bike. I am very pleased with this model. Because I saw that it is very durable and has excellent handling even on icy roads. I feel safe on my bike
