Is hillary.co.uk Legit?

Ordered shutters in June 2024 and were fitted in October 2024 however one of the shutters had less slats than the others (same size windows). Fitter made an appointment and time to come to re measure. After 30 mins I texted him to see where he was?. Another appointment was made for 20/11/24 to re measure and was assured it would be ordered the following week. Rang today to find out the shutter has not been ordered yet (the fitter completed the wrong paperwork). A complete shambles of a company with a cavalier attitude towards their customers. I would never purchase from them again.

Hillary installed only 4 out of 5 shutters after waiting 7 months for it. They say the next shutter will be fitted in 4 months yet they made me sign numerous documents at the end of the job and one of them said the job was complete, which was emailed the next day. I chase them to ask for clarification and no answers to emails, calls.I chased them to many times for the installation of the second order and no replies expect that they were waiting for me to be ready... Ready for what?

Disappointing! Two electric blinds for two skylights. Simple job. A different technician arrived two weeks too early to fit. He fit one incorrectly and the other does not close. They won’t return to fix after numerous emails. The technicians I’ve been in contact with are unprofessional. The company is a shambles. Please do not use this company. Avoid!

We waited four months for our bespoke wooden blind. We we also prepared to pay an absolutely large amount of money for it - £5,000. It finally arrived this morning. Guess what@ It was badly painted and badly damaged. So after all these months we are back to the beginning. I believe that this company gives the impression of high quality products, for which you pay a high price when in fact you are simply paying a lot of money for poor quality products made in China for who knows what small amount. I would like to know what sort of company does this to its customers?

Steve arrived on time, took all measurements for the job required. He has since returned and fitted all blinds. Installation was spot on and Steve was very polite and professional. (Advisor Number 216387)

I had some lounge curtains fitted (two windows and one French door) and the quality of the curtains exceed my expectations. Yes they are expensive, but for me the quality shows. The fitter Michael Trez (PLANNER 119004) was very professional and tidy and I am very happy with his work.

I had to write a review I was so pleased with the great service I received from Hillary’s. It was all round excellent. Mr Sergio Picceri was professional without being pushy, gave me advice and answered my questions. Then Gary came to fit the blinds, all done within 2 hours. He was so conscientious about cleaning up after himself. A very polite young man. I cannot say enough about Hillary, excellent service. Would definitely recommend.

Had my blinds fitted by Tim advisor network 118768 this week his workmanship was excellent left everything clean and tidy. When he came for my sales appointment his knowledge of the products was vast I couldn’t believe how many choices that are available. All in all great service from start to finish.

Our fitter was a wonderful agent named Vitalie. He offered very capable guidance regarding some tricky windows which I was unsure how to dress. His advice made the process so much clearer. We ordered both curtains and blinds, which were ready when Vitalie said they would be. The fitting is incredibly neat. The curtains are so perfect and glide effortlessly on the rail which he fitted. The quality is beautiful and I couldn’t be happier! They are so pleasing to the eye!

From the first visit the service and care given to my requirements was first rate. The adviser Ms White spent a lot of time going over the options for the blinds and the fitter Aurimas Musinskis could not have taken more trouble making sure everything would fit in, made some amendments which had not occurred to me which improved the installation and on fitting the blinds did a super job over a day. Very efficient and well done.

I recently had light & dark blinds fitted to my kitchen and I am more than happy with them, especially the workmanship of Tomasz Zajac and I have to say he is a excellent asset to your business very polite young man excellent customer service Many thanks Sandra Holdcroft

I love my curtains but it’s the service that this company provides which makes it stand out. Anthony Reynolds provided an excellent service from the initial consultation and measuring up, to the fitting of the curtains. I had lots of questions and changes to my order but nothing was too much for him.

The person who helped me with my window blinds was extremely helpful. His name is Harun Hussain. Harun was very helpful, informative and my experience with choosing and buying my window blinds has been a brilliant experience. I am so very pleased with the outcome and would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely man. The window blinds look great and I am more delighted that the heat is also kept in much more than I expected.

A really disappointing experience. Four appointments made and the rep didn't turn up to any of them. The first was fully understandable and he rang. The second he rang again to rebook it due to a migraine. The 3rd ge didn't turn up but told the office he came Friday and there was no one in. We were in but weren't expecting him anyway as the appointment was Saturday. I gave him one more chance to turn up yesterday. I had several texts and emails reminding me if the appointment and guess what ge didn't turn up. On phoning the office they have no record of these appointments apart from the first one and then one tomorrow which I didn't know anything about. It is so bizarre I couldn't even have made it up. I believed Hillary to be a good firm and I feel totally let down.

I have booked with this unreliable company for 3 times!!!!!!First one has been cancelled by the fitter because I haven’t answered my phone!!! I was home but busy with work if you come you can ring a bell!!!So I rebooked, then the advisor said it was a mistake I’m in hospital!The third one was the same excuse !!!!Please do not waste your time

Just had four wooden Venetians fitted by Jerry. The blinds are exactly what I wanted, I’m very happy with the quality and they fit perfectly.There were a couple of hitches when the main blind in the bay was being fitted. The problems were due to errors in the manufacturing process and were swiftly rectified. Within 20 minutes a new blind had been ordered and a second fitting date was arranged.So, I’m awarding 5 stars for overall quality and customer service. A big thank you to Jerry!
