First time I saw higopo was when I was installing Android app for TV remote. I removed app and ran Norton scan, but I'm still getting multiple alerts every few hours with security warnings. Can anyone can tell us how to stop that?
Scammed me with promise of cheap ticket for train that was actually already sold out at regular price. Keeps telling me my McAfee antivirus is out of date, even though I renewed it. Now offering to block ads! I want nothing to do with it.
higopo.com is connected to a bunch of supposed problems on my phone. They are telling me I have problems with my Microsoft that Microsoft doesn\'t know about. They\'re saying they need info about my recent PayPal deposit and I haven\'t used Paypal in over a year. They say my Gmail account is locked up. They literally have 10 different alerts on my phone right now claiming that I have 10 different problems but everyone of them seems to come to go back to higopo.com.
All of a sudden this site keeps putting messages on my phone telling me there are problems with all sorts of things! I do not trust clicking on links that I am unfamiliar with. How do I stop them from sending messages to my notifications on my phone? I want to remove them from my phone period.
Higopo has usurped my King Features Syndicate/ Comics.Com membership. I can no linger log into Comics.com without registering with Higopo. The flag is their request for a valid credit card they came will never be charged. This is a step too far....I will miss Comics.com.
I had the app Instateam on my phone for a while, our son\'s soccer coach uses it to contact & send stuff to the team & parents. Great app. I needed to add a second team & this higopo popped up looking like you needed to reregister & enter personal info. I knew that wasn\'t right, backed out of it, closed & reopened the app & added the other team easily. In the meantime this higopo took over my phone opening various things on my phone, kept trying to get me to go their website, & was sending endless notifications - \"click here we have a check for you\" & other clickbait. A popup kept asking permission for notifications & I kept clicking no, but it didn\'t matter. I was finally able to go to a notification, click the 3 dots, unselect everything it had turned on & cleared it\'s data from my phone. It seems to be gone now, but I don\'t know how it can be considered anything but malware/phishing/scam. It tried to represent itself as the app it was able to popup in to try & get your name, address, email, etc - there has got to be something illegal about that.
