Customer service and return policy is a disappointment. I bought new speakers and the appropriate adapter kit for my car. The adapter kit was completely wrong, and when I pointed this out to HiFi Sound, they told me their paperwork said it would fit. I gave them photographs as proof that both pieces of the adapter kit were wrong - the electrical connector was wrong and the adapter didn't fit their speaker. They don't care. The return policy is a nightmare! They are charging 20% plus shipping because of their issue!

Agree with all the other reviews. Purchased an Ipad stand that didn't work, had to pay half the cost of the item to return it (no free shipping), then i only get store credit, no refund. Butt they don't carry what i need so it's useless. Really poor customer service in this day and age.

Wow, wish I had seen these reviews before my purchase. Ordered a powered antenna that their website said would fit my car, obviously too large. Contacted support, they said, "no problem, send it back.(on my dime). Got hit with a 20% restocking fee! Horrible experience.

Good luck, call them and speaking to someone as they will not return emails or phone calls. “Crooks”

Even though the speakers I bought from them were advertised as an exact match for my car, they did not fit. When I complained by email and phone, they tried to cover their mistake with some feeble excuses. They refused to cover my return shipping cost and charged me a restocking fee for what was 100% their error.

I ordered a stereo kit for my vehicle, they sent me what "I ordered" however there was a hiccup. My vehicle comes with 2 different types of harness. Well I called customer service and you know what! They are sending me the right harness. I didn't have to threaten or be rude or even defensive. My representative was polite and glad to help make things right. “Dash kit missing parts”

Took 2 weeks to arrive and only received one out of the two side brackets. (BTW the side brackets are just flimsy pieces of plastic... and i only got one!) I called Hifi Sound Connection directly and was told that i needed to take a picture of my items with invoice and email it to them! While on the phone i did that, and was told that i was in an email queue and they'll get back to me. "What was the purpose of the picture," I asked? He only said, "it was part of the process." I said this doesn't make any sense, like you can't take my word for it that i only received one bracket? What's to stop someone from just removing one bracket and taking a picture? Or what if i just took a picture of a bag of lint and say that's what you sent me? "its part of the process. If you don't like it you can return it" Un-freaking-believable. I will stay FAR away from hifi sound connection

“NEVER, EVER BUY FROM HIFI SOUND CONNECTION”

This company is a complete sham. I ordered 2 sets of speakers and they only shipped one set. I spent DAYS emailing back and forth, sending pictures of the shipping package (with a ruler in the photo to prove the size of the package could not have contained 2 sets) and STILL they claimed both sets were in the package. They ignored all my requests to either refund my money or ship the second set of speakers. I lost a ton of money. No matter how good you think the deal is, don't risk it.

“Avoid Ordering From Them”

I ordered a small connector from them and immediately received an email stating that while shipping the part they discovered it was damaged. They stated that there would be a delay while they waited for their supplier to provide a replacement part. After a month of them telling me they should have the part soon, I asked for a refund. I will say this, their customer service responded promptly to all of my emailed inquiries and did provide me a refund in a timely manner; however, I will never order from them again. I do not believe they ever had the part that was "damaged."

“Bamboozled”

I filled out the fields for their " what fits your vehicle" I filled out all the fields and they sent me a speaker that did not fit. I returned it on my own fine and they would not refund. They said I have premium speakers even though they are OEM. So I paid for shipping, return shipping, and now they have my product and won't refund. Called them and got a bunch of BS about semantics when the bottom line is I filled out "what fits my vehicle"

“TERRIBLE AWEFUL NO GOOD”

Sent back a faulty sub woofer, was told I would get a refund. It's been 3 months, numerous calls to their customer service. They say it's "been escalated". Asked to speak with supervisor, could only leave messages. No one ever calls back. Company and customer service is the worst. Do not order from this company or you will regret it.

“Not only item not instock, they leaked my credit info to scam too.”

I called in to check to make sure before making a purchase that they have the item in stock, talked to a sales person on August 3,2015 morning, seemed nice on the phone, placed an order, credit card charged. 3 hours later got a call back from a different person, sorry we stopped carry that item, will refund your money or keep as store credit. Told them to refund and they did 2 days later (August 5,2015). Now, August 6,2015 there are 8 charges in different amounts showed up on my credit card. Thanks for screwed up my credit card.

“Worst Customer Service I have dealt with...”

Terrible customer service. SERIOUSLY, read the above reviews. All of this is the truth. I bought speakers for my Tacoma that said they were a "direct fit OEM replacement." These did not fit my truck and neither did the wiring harness. I contacted the company, and much like the folks above, they advised that I would have to pay for return shipping on speakers that DID NOT fit my truck. This is false advertising. They even asked for my VIN number and I provided it and they then confirmed that "your truck actually takes a different size." That was obvious. Even after admitting that they sent me the wrong speakers, they refused to pay for return shipping (which was close to $20). I am not going to pay for their mistake. Will not be doing business with them again and would warn anyone considering doing business with this company...

“They Lie, Hangup, and won't help when you need it!”

I went to their site to order a replacement antenna for my car. I placed the order and got this message: "I am sorry, your bank has rejected the payment. Please contact your bank to determine why or use another credit card or form of payment." I called my bank and the agent said they authorized payment FOUR TIMES to these clowns! When I asked for help, none was given. When I called back to speak to a supervisor, they hung up on me! When I called a third time, I got a supervisor who didn't know his butt from a tea-kettle! No good can come from patronizing this company. Look for your products from ebay or Crutchfield instead. Tip for consumers:DO NOT USE THIS SITE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES Service

“Stay away!”

Even though the speakers I bought from them were advertised as an exact match for my car, they did not fit. When I complained by emails and phone, they tried to cover their mistake with some bs excuses. They told me my car has a premium stereo, Which is doesn't, it has the same speakers they all came with. Only one option for this year. They refused to cover my return shipping cost and claimed I would have to pay a restocking fee for what was 100% their error. I couldn't believe this since they are obviously just guessing what speakers fit what cars so I called again. They said they would ask the "higher ups" about covering the shipping and then never got back to me!

We received our order damaged in shipping. Even though it was damaged we were charged a 20% restocking fee, totaling $56! Even though the item shouldn't be restocked... it should be fixed first. I tried getting this money returned to me on multiple attempts. I will NEVER shop here again!

Bought a subwoofer and box for my ram 1500. It was exactly what was advertised and at a great price. I would buy from this company again. The only thing i wish is that they would confirm my purchase. “DO NOT USE THIS SCAM ARTIST”

Ordered some bubble machines that were supposed to come with bubble fluid. The machines arrived, but no fluid. I contacted customer "service" immediately. After months of the runaround as they "investigated" the situation with UPS they're not saying they can not process my refund due to the maturity of the order. What a crock! Beware of these thieves.

“Car speakers”

Ordered car speakers for my truck which their site are replacement speakers. They don't fit. So I return them and decide I'm going to go to a local store so I don't have this problem again. They charge me a 20% restocking fee. Their site said it would fit and they don't and I get hit with a fee. They said the speakers can no longer be sold as new, even though they were never used. Company sucks

“Woild Do business again”

I was worried after I placed an order with this company I went online to read reviews and they were all so terrible! I immediately regretted my decision and went to see about returning it... would have cost me more than the original purchase so I just crossed my fingers and hoped it would be ok. I called the company who assured me everything was fine... they sent the parts right away and they were the correct one. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because one small plastic piece was broke, but it wasn't a big deal.
