We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 60 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to herbergers.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Active. Medium-Risk. tags above. Long story short, we still see some red flags with this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning herbergers.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between herbergers.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of herbergers.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of herbergers.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. herbergers.com is a problematic website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether herbergers.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether herbergers.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, herbergers.com.

“The Gimmick King of stores.”
They send you coupons but they are only good on full price items. When will stores learn that if you send out coupons they should be availible to use on anything in the store regular or sale items. I always end up telling the cashier to keep it and then walking out. I hate hate hate gimmicks. Wish the store would just close.
“Late payment fees”
I have been a long time customer of herbergers. Unfortunately Herbergers closed down in our area. I have been faithfully paying off this credit card. I have been diagnosed with terminal cancer and imy treatments have taken a toll on my mind. I have been late a few times but did pay the late fee. I know i am accountable for paying my bills but do not understand why a late fee under my medical condition cannot be waived at least once. This vank has no empathy or compassion for those that are trminally ill. The late fee will be paid but thought i would add this to their review.
“Best Service”
Always a pleasure, great writer thank you. Absolutely fabulous! High quality service delivered on time with great content. Highly recommended! Will order again
“Muslim?”
St Paul Midway Herbergers experience was poor. I was in line behind a woman checking out in woman clothing dept. That customer asked if the Clerk could help her with any coupons she has. The Clerk said "No"... then she asked the same customer "Muslim?" to which the customer said "yes" The Clerk (also Muslim) said "Oh, ok. I can help you". It was surprising to me that religion played a part in her discount. I thought it was odd of the Clerk to ask that. I stepped up to pay and asked if she could look at my coupons so I could get the best deal and handed her 4 different ones. The Clerk said "No I don't think they work. You can keep them for another time". I asked if she would please try one in particular because there were no restrictions on it. She gave me the other coupon cards and rolled her eyes, mumbled something to a coworker (also Muslim) and then ran the discount card through and it worked. She never thanked me for my purchase or wished me a good day. My friend and I were shocker to witness this differential treatment. I normally shop in Stillwater/Oak Park heights area store and overtime I ask the Clerks happily check out my coupons and always thank me for shopping Herbergers. I believe you need to retrain your staff at Midway location in MN. I found the treatment disrespectful and apparently advantaged for Muslim customers.
“No more Herbergers”
My family and I were loyal customers until today. Last month we paid two seperate bills on the account of $ 240 plus. It was in increment of of $100 each. The last payment was made 2 days before the billing cycle ended. Unbeknown to us that payment would not have applied to the October month. That being said I recieved unknown calls, then I decided to investigate because I donot anwser to unknown calls, period. I found out it was from Comenity Bank. I proceeded to call cutomer to find out why I was being given and unknown call from the bank since my account was not in arreas, I was told told it was a heads up to let me known that if I dont pay the $40 plus that I owe for October by the Nov. 1 my account would go in collections and this would tarnish my credit. I take in consideration that all my credit accounts are either paid in full or with either $100 or $200 BUT NEVER PAID A MINIMUM BALANCE. Furhermore the reason why we did not pay on the Oct 1 was because we had made those two payment in Sept. NOW after being a honoring and faithful cutomer this establishment wants to tarnish my excellent and building credit score for $ 40. Its NOT going to happen. We will pay your $40 plus late fee and part ways. NO MORE business with your establishment, I will not be scammed. Plus your customer service is way below par.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
