The Scam Detector website Validator gives healthplanrate.com a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 66.6. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 66.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to healthplanrate.com's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning healthplanrate.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between healthplanrate.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of healthplanrate.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of healthplanrate.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. healthplanrate.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether healthplanrate.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether healthplanrate.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, healthplanrate.com.

Scam. Was looking for health insurance and their website came up first. Filled up all my information but never got a quote. Just a number to call. So I called. I spoke with a salesman with high pressure tactics and when I said I just wasn't interested anymore, he tried scaring me about getting hit by a car the next day and that then I would need insurance. Then he just hung up. Completely inappropriate spokesperson.
Wish I could give zero stars. Agent took a little information from me then recommended a plan, gave me a few main facets of the plan, then wanted me to sign up right away. Couldn't understand why I would need more time to consult my wife before moving forward.Extremely high pressure sales tactics, after a little while I felt very uncomfortable talking with them. They actually hung up on me when they realized they weren't getting a sale right away!
Scam!! They steal money. I paid them and never got virtual cards. The member number for the UHC policy was invalid. I called the back and was told to give card at least a day to come. Never happened. Now the number is not a working number. Pymt receipt shows HealthPrograms. Should be zero stars!
They Steal My Money!I bought an insurance plan last month and the agent named John said that I should receive a confirmation email within 24 hrs. But I did not receive any confrimation from them after 3 days. So I cancelled the plan and asked agent `John´ to give me refund back. He said OK and money will return back to me. Still I did not receive my refund yet. The most ugly thing is that they charged me second time yesterday. I called customer service guys over and over again. They hung up the call after I told them `I am trying to get refund´. They are totally scammer. Steal money from customer.
Deserves 0 stars, complete scam and receive 20 calls a day when I accidentally entered my phone number. I have never left a review before but am today to save the next person from dealing with these scammers. I ask to be removed from their call list but 2 months later and I’m still getting called at least once a day. Do NOT, use this platform. They will steal your money and call you nonstop.
How do you get these people to stop calling!! They never stop calling or texting me!! THIS IS HARASSMENT!! has anyone gotten through to them to STOP CALLING!! I’ve replied STOP on over 15 different text messages!!
Hi my name is Elvira Johnson I like to thank Amanda for her excellent customers service my experience was satisfaction. Any questions l ask she explain it to me lam thankful for her she help find me price lower my prescription insurance. Thank you so much have a wonderful Day Elvira Johnson
I have never written a review online before but I am SO irritated with this “business.” I was BOMBARDED with calls every 20-30 minutes today. I was interested in a health insurance quote but didn’t need one THAT desperately. I was at work all day and I cannot tell you how angry I was by the amount of phone calls I received. I answered one and told them in a very firm way to please stop calling me, that I’ve been harassed all day with these calls, and they didn’t even acknowledge that, they just hung up. Basically, their customer service is garbage and NO ONE should give these people their information. Stay away!
Awful, just awful. Someone gave them my number and they haven’t stopped calling me. I have asked multiple times to stop calling and remove me from their call list… 15 phone calls Monday, already 7 today, not counting the other calls on the other days… 30+ phone calls later, I am still on their phone list…
Ugh. I made the mistake of entering my phone number on their website to receive a quote. Now they won't stop calling, texting and emailing me. I went on their website to contact customer service and they have a Do Not Contact request in their dropdown. I entered my phone number again on this. Hope it works and they stop calling soon.
Spoke to an agent to set me up with an affordable insurance policy. He was super helpful and got me hooked up with amazing health coverage. Then after the took $355 out of my bank account, I received my electronic copies of insurance cards. The coverage was NOWHERE even close to what I agreed to. There’s all kinds of discounts on gift cards, travel and miscellaneous crap. The “coverage” covers absolutely nothing useful. When I try to call the phone number and extension to speak to the person, the line hangs up. I receive upwards of 10-20 calls a day with their people trying to sign me up. I explain to them that I already signed up and they continue the same script over and over to get me to sign up again?? So I called one of the many phone numbers and asked for her to explain to me what exactly I signed up for and tried to get it all sorted out. She kept repeating herself asking if I need health coverage within 30 days. I told her to transfer me to someone else and then she continued to taunt me by repeating the same question over and over again. I’ve gone to my bank and filed a fraud report, changed all my info and followed that up with a police report. The bank said they have been trying to take money out every single day since the 31st. This company is a horrible scam.
I purchased a plan with them but they still were calling me 10 times or more after that with an offer. They don't see in a system that I already have a plan with themMe with my rep Alex Fabian spent on a phone about 30 min and he found a perfect plan that matches my needs It would cost about $100But after he submitted my application I've got an invoice for $200+He said - that's what an insurance company can offer meI agreed and the plan should have started in 14 days after my callOn a day 14 as Alex said I should have received my documents and before that a temporary card with electronic card.I never received anything and when I called them and their reps heard that I got a plan already - just dropped a call. Finally after 7th try one rep told me that I'm actually rejectedHe promised that it takes up to 7 days to return my money and offered me to purchase a new plan for more money!I refused from thatIt's been a month and I still didn't receive a refund, it seems that they're scammersBefore purchasing a plan I've checked their legitimacy and opinions were okayI wish I found TrustPilot reviews before so I'd never be a fool working with them
DO NOT ENTER YOUR INFO ON THIS WEBSITE. I got calls repeatedly every few minutes for hours! They call in the middle of the night, at 6 AM! At any time! I explained to them I have a brain injury and their calls are causing me medical distress and injury, the calls keep coming! I told them to remove me and they won’t stop. Not only that they hang up on you as soon as you tell them how many calls you got and then you get 5 more from same number in a few minutes after THEY hung up on you! This is harassment! And as a disabled person they are harming me even one sales guy was trying to be all slimey and ask me details of my injury when I told him to take me off the list just telling me he wanted to keep talking to me as I was begging him to stop calling. What kind of sadistic boiler room assh0les are you hiring at this company?!?! I got over 38 calls in less than 24 hrs (15 this morning) every time I told them to take me of the list and explained my injury! You are a lawsuit waiting to happen!!!! Seriously, STOP!!!This afternoon just now:I will post screenshots of my call log if I have to which shows how many I answered ... the company via email has requested more info from me to verify “I AM LEGIT”.... how about verify you are legit?!?! Try to contest my review and I will post another with the call log screen shots attached !!! Every number from you had my area code 650 and prefix of 540 or 420. And I audio recorded several of the interactions! When I said to take me off your list instead they hang up so they can keep calling!!!
What I was told when purchased. Is not what was given. Customer service is worse than a rotten skunk.
All I wanted was a quote and have been harassed with dozens of phone calls the last 2 hours. 100% a scam and I regret giving them my phone number.
THE COMPANY WILL NOT STOP CALLING ME AND I HAVE ASKED REPEATEDLY TO BE TAKEN OFF THE CALL LIST!!! PLEASE STOP!!!
I spoke to two different agents and each of them hang up on me. This "company" has a RUDE staff. Don't waste your money or time.

“Horrible Experience!”
I just had a horrible experience with Joe@ Healthplanrate and giving as many one-star reviews (since often I can't give zero) as I can across as many rating sites as I can find. Agent Madeline took a little information from me then recommended a plan, gave me a few main facets of the plan, then wanted me to sign up right away. Couldn't understand why I would need more time to consult my wife before moving forward. She forwarded me to Joe who put great pressure on me to sign up and also couldn't understand why I couldn't move forward right away without including my wife in the process. I didn't appreciate the extremely high pressure sales tactics, after a little while I felt very uncomfortable talking with them. Joe said "well, okay bud..." then actually hung up on me when he realized he wasn't getting a sale right away! There are SO many other options to get insurance from - why put up with the hassle here?

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies this service works and is trustworthy. It costs only $6.49/month but is worth the cost. U.S., UK, EU, Swiss, and Canadian residents only. Click below.
