In a very complicated process of a house purchase, Habeno has done a great job to make the purchase successful. The person who helped me from Habeno (Gisele) has not only helped me well, but also in a very active and friendly way. I can recommend everyone to use their services!

Habeno customer service & loan representative (Giselle) have made the process of obtaining a loan from the United States a breeze. All of the documentations that were needed were communicated on time. Habeno monitored all aspects of documentations and banks needs until the day of property deed transfer. Could not have done it without their help and trust.

Worked with Gisele at Habeno and she was great to work with. She was attentive and knowledgable. Their portal was easy to use to transfer information for the mortgage process. It made the experience less stressful, especially being out of country. They also referred us to a lawyer to do the legal work for the closing and visa application.

Habeno made it possible for us to buy a home in Spain. Before we heard about Habeno we hired mortgage agent who said (after we paid her 500 euros so she would start working on our case) it was impossible for us to get mortgage in Spain because our income is in Isk. But somehow Habeno managed to offer us upto 70% mortgage. Our agent Pierluigi was very responsive and answeared every question that we threw at him. I took advantage of Habeno’s services during summer 2022 in connection with purchasing a house in Nueva Andalucía. Being from Scandinavia and trying to get a Spanish mortgage is definitely not easy and normally ends up taking to much time and getting to expensive. We were assisted by Pablo and at all times we felt in good and capable hands. He was very professional, patient and fast and always returned our mails/calls promptly.We had lots of issues with seller, real estate agent and lawyer, but Pablo nicely acted liaison officer and finally got the deal in house.I haven’t done the math but I’m sure that the fee taken by Habeno is earned back faster than the first year due to better conditions on the mortgage. Buying a property in Spain. Habeno assign a personal assistant to you (Pierluigi in our case). He took all the paperwork hassel away and was always available to answer any queries we might have. Well worth having Habeno there to take you through the process.

When we decided to buy property in Spain, we knew that the whole process might be really long, stressful and with a lot of unknowns in between. Of course, don’t expect that everything will be done on behalf of you, still need to take care of all the documents required by the law and banks but they will make the experience much less complicated. I can't say enough about Habeno, in particular our loan advisor, Pierluigi. He was so patient and explained every step to us many times. This was especially important to us because we're from the US and knew nothing about the Spanish mortgage system. He was also very responsive, even though our time zones are different. His English was perfect, which was a plus. He went above and beyond in ensuring that the bank produced the correct documents in time for us to purchase our home. I can't express my gratitude enough for the peace of mind Pierluigi gave us! The company overall was pretty good--the online portal was a lifesaver because it was easy to track all the documents we were submitting for review. Overall, I'd say the process was easier and more streamlined than I imagined. The only downside was that Spanish banks take longer to process things than the US, but that has nothing to do with Habeno. I would highly recommend!
