got suckered in on this web site where the site crashed when I hit the submit button, after I ordered an entrenching shovel. I would like to have who's ever responsible, his f------ head in my hands for about one minute.
Offered a LED headlight for shipping only cost. Tried twice to place an order and both times website said order not accepted. But found two separate charges for shipping on my credit card. Called cc company and had charges removed. Four hours later received email confirmation for my order and another shipping charge on my cc. About a week later I actually received the head light. But during that tim I found a charge for $83 on my cc from the company that was actually providing the light. Had to cancel my cc.. However, the light description in the initial email does not match the product received. It stars it will work using two AS batteries. The actual light requires two special rechargeable size batteries and they were not included, nor was a charger and cord included. Basically I now have a light that's not useable. People need to be warned about Gunowners-News and their selling practices. *************** I hope they can do something to protect others from you fraudulent sales practices and the fraud credit card charges.
Robert- I hear you & share your anger with these crooks from my own recent experience. I'm going to look into filing a FTC complaint about their shady business practices. Since they change names so often in their emailings they seem to be evading enforcement by the appropriate authorities.
Robert- I didn't see your negative review in time to avoid my own recent infuriating experience with this bunch. This whole www site seems to be a launch platform to scam people in various ways. They just re-publish canned online articles & trick people who fall for the "free flashlight" or whatever the bait of the week might be. Even their "1-step unsubscribe" link is malicious, according to my defensive software.
Gunowner-news.com is a scam www site that seems to change the name of purported www sites that send out their deceitful emails regularly. Most recently, I am getting them from something called Pinnacle Gardening ESS in Virginia. They constantly advertise cheap Chinese-made knives, small flashlights & the like for free- just pay $7.95 for shipping costs. I foolishly did that & found an additional charge of $82.45 to my credit card today, Easter Sunday; April 9, 2024 from my April 5th order for a free flashlight & knife. I called their support number provided by my credit card company's fraud department after getting a fraud alert from the card. After several attempts to get me to settle for a partial 30% or 50% refund for this hidden charge for some sort of newsletter/membership i don't want they agreed to issue a full refund. The details on this significant additional charge for my "free" flashlight are hidden in the fine print somewhere in their 'Terms and Conditions' paragraphs, which, like many others, I stupidly didn't read. Learn from my mistakes! When I click on the provided 1-step unsubscribe & other reply links in their emails, my security software gives me a warning that it is a malicious link leading to yet another re-direction scam/fraud attempt by these crooks- something you definitely don't want to wade into. Be wiser than I was and don't fall for any "free knife/flashlight/whatever other crap they are offering if you just pay shipping" - to get you to click in, and MOST DEFINITELY read all of the fine print first if you are tempted to do so. These are unscrupulous individuals ripping people off daily while wearing a cloak of patriotism & gun owners' interests as their cover business model. I am furious with them & with myself for gullibly falling into their deceitful business practices. Since they change business names frequently- perhaps weekly- it is my personal opinion that they are able to evade the BBB or possibly mail/wire fraud enforcement actions. Just stay away & advise your friends to do the same.

This garbage pops up in the spam folder everyday. Apparently you can't block them - just send unwanted emails to spam. I asked the IT guy at work & we tried to unsubscribe, but when we clicked it, it attempted to open my cloud. I have never looked at their site, or signed up for their emails, so I think when I ordered gun parts, that site sold my email. *cough primary arms cough* So, I empty the spam folder every couple days. Not a big deal, but still, I'm stuck with nuisance emails.
This site seems to be tied to several others, all of which started appearing in my inbox on the same day; all of which have a similar format, and most of which share the same physical address.
