Is gtbank.com Legit?

GTBank is the worst. Their customer service is bad. I had a complaint and i reached out to the customer service on whatsApp. I have been reaching out to them because sensitive information was leaked and they did not respond. If I was able to go to the bank I would have done so. They end the conversation without helping. Why have a customer service if they are not helpful?

GTBank used to be my best bank for the past 5 years before the app starts messing up. Now I cannot login on the app even after complaining in their Wuse market branch in Abuja. I still rate them well but not like before. If this problem can be resolved, then I will regard them as the best.

Put funds into a GTbank account as a Non Residential Nigerian at your own risk. Their NRN customer service reps are so unhelpful, they end chats without providing support and keep asking you to repeat processes that you have tried several times and did not work. I do not recommend at all.

This GTB has the most appalling online transfer system which never works and frustrating to use when requesting simple transfer of funds from my savings or current account to other banks.How can you have service that never works and you claim to be one of the best bank in Nigeria what a shame and how’s your claim of being the best achieved hmmm. 🤔 Anyway we know better now😭 I guess that’s not a surprise.

The worst bank of our time. They are rather called Guarantee Turturing Bank. They specialist in turturing their customers. I am regularly tortured each time I need to do any transactions in my account

I have transferred money to my GT account, and this is not the first time from my UK account through a money changing app. Its now been 3 days that I have been trying to reach someone at GT. All the numbers advertised on the GT website are just ringing or playing some stupid music with no response, even their 24 hr contact numbers! The sending partner have provided a proof that they sent the fund successfully with transaction ID and GT needs to clear this. This is not good customer service when you cant even reach someone to look into a banking problem in a bank. I have also wasted more money on international calling credits to no avail!

This is one of the best bank in Nigeria for online transactions. The ease at with you can get your debit card makes me more addicted to them compared to other banks in Nigeria. Their debit mater card is globally accepted and can be used for any online services. Their customers service are very respondent and they also have a self ATM dispensing machine.

I've always love this bank for their easy Mastercard online transaction. I always enjoy the ease of payment online using their card but their recent app upgrade is awkward. You can't even link it with your account unless you visit their bank to rectify.

My account was overdrawn by the sum of 197,951.46, and since last week I’ve been raising escalations for the reversal of unauthorized transactions on my account. Nothing has been done up till this moment. This is total fraud as I know nothing of the Debits charged to my account.This isn’t the first time this is happening, I had first experienced this and escalated the transaction which was resolved, and I had to block my ATM for no just reason, now I have to deal with this again. Kindly reverse the transactions and place my account back to it good credit standing as my whole life is in a mess as a result of this scam on my account. Find attached details of the Unauthorized debits.

GTB is a scam My money was debited 5 consecutive times in 2mins.I have filled a compliant form and still no solution. I made a little investigation n I noticed that this same issue had happened to so many Nigeria GTB customers. Guys pls be careful with this back, if you have millions there it can be taken within 3mins

Worst bank ever! They hold on to customer funds for no reason and they do not release the funds even after two weeks of complaining and sending written instructions for the funds to be released, all under the guise of government regulation. If you are considering using this bank, please run for dear life.

GT Bank is such an unreliable bank. I made transaction on Monday, 14.08.2023 at their branch office near AP filling station, Durumi Abuja, Nigeria to transfer funds from my GT bank account to my Access bank account.They stamped the transaction slip and gave me the copy that it was processed and credited to my Access account. Up till today, 16.08.2023, I have not received the funds to my access bank account.I ask for compensation for causing me frustration by not processing the transaction and giving me a false confirmation. Please beware of GT Bank, it is not a good Bank. I will be closing my account soon.

Each time l pay for an online internet provider money is debited from my account twice. GTB states is the merchandise and the other party states they have deducted the money once. But the debit shows on my account twice. The question is where is my money? I have escalate with no joy. People beware of this bank

Useless bank. Unreliable when it comes to making transactions that are time bound. App loads for like 30mins. You just cannot trust GTB!!!

If I could give this bank 0 starts I would!They are simply horrible!They waste your time and lie to customers that there is no network to attend to customers!They buy airtime from my bank account that I never purchased, they take more that a week to reverse transactions, they are the worst bank ever!Withholding someones funds is punishable by the law! GTB is the most useless bank I have ever been unfortunate to use!DO NOT BANK WITH THEM!!!

GTB is frustrating and their customer care services are not appealing. The customers care staff are frustrating and very rude. I don't encourage anyone bank with them.

GTBANK Nigeria is not reliable, transacting using GTBANK is a risk particularly nowadays, I tried buying airtime on my phone using their banking system. My money was deducted twice without giving crediting me and my money is never refunded. This is just one of many issues I have with the bank

I walked into this GT Bank in Aba, Abia State. By Abia State Polytechnic and the customer care service was very helpful.I left the bank quicker than i imagined

Febr. 2022: I got transferdata from GT bank (Gambia). It took one stressfull month I received a part of the amount back. The intermediair standard chartered bank doesn’t tell where the money is and let me pay a penalty of 90 euro with the message “The account information was received incorrectly.”My friend asked the GTBank to explain. The answer was “maybe your name was incorrect stated.”I send an email with a printsceen of my bankaccount with exactly displayed transfer data of the GTBank and the message:So, this is customer unfriendly and easy going.The way you respond shows that you don’t want to improve your service. If you want to improve your service you say:“Sorry for our mistake. We’ll make sure this doesn’t happen again.”I never use the Guaranty Trust Bank Gambia anymore.I have seen a Dutch blog. The 'mistakes' of the GTbank in Gambia seems to be systematic. There are many People who had to pay 90 euro penalty. It seems to be a source of income.I used the Access bank twice:Once to a training center. The money arrived within 12 days the bank account from the center.Once to a privat acccount. The money arrived within 7 days the bank account of my friend.
