Is greenit.ie Legit?

I purchased a laptop from GreenIT back in April. I hadn't used it too much. The speaker was progressively getting more & more rattley. I contacted GreenIT only last week, via email. I got a call back, a pick up was arranged for my laptop and it was delivered back to me, by courier, today. Cannot fault their customer service!!!

Wonderful company bought a desktop and it arrived in 2 days then decided to buy a monitor and same fast service Each item was so well packed I had trouble getting the items out I now have a new system working 💯 and a fraction of the cost of other retailers I would 💯 recommend this company to anyone and will be using there service in the future Again thank to a brilliant company 👏

Nothing bad to say - ordered an ex-corporate Dell Optiplex 7020 tower from them last week - excellent pre-sales service, delivered on-time, nicely-packed, looked 'as new', worked straight out of the box.First time I've had a PC with a ssd in it - and I'm delighted with the performance, and the value for money.My (very) old laptop is starting to misbehave - and I'll be coming to greenit for a replacement.Thanks folks - keep it up.

Received my refurbished Dell Latitude today and was delighted with product. Worked perfectly and seems in great condition. Few days delay with delivery due to Christmas but I rang Greenit customer service and my order was delivered 2 days later as promised. Very helpful and friendly. I purchased a refurbished Lenovo Thinkpad T440p on April 24 2020. Overall condition is good, but battery is old and weak and only lasts about 50 minutes when fully charged and then takes over 2 hours to recharge again. I wrote an email 5 days ago informing GreenIT of my problem. Today they agreed to send me a new battery.

The laptop was very securely packaged for delivery and even included small packets of sweets which were a real treat! It has Windows 10 license sticker on the bottom and runs perfectly, honestly couldn't ask for more. So great to have the peace of mind having a warranty just in case but don't expect we will need it.

Chromebook was nearly in as new condition. No mention of delivery times on website but it would be at least 5 working days from time of order, i was however able to arrange collection which meant i got it sooner. Will use again should the need arise.

Excellent experience after I bought an IT equipment from this seller on eBay. The IT equipment that I recently bought is actually a docking station / port replicator for my laptop. It is fully functional without any issues and I am happy with my purchase so far, even without the keys to lock the laptop onto the dock which I don't really need for use at home as if I were to connect my laptop to two monitors on my desk.

Friendly advice, quality products and affordable pricing. Delivery was speedy and efficient. The whole process of dealing with Green It was hassle free from start to finish. Have returned to them for further purchases which really says it all.

Ordering was straightforward. Communication re delivery slots was very good. Postage a bit too Expensive @ €12.50 for an iPad cover. Excessive packaging - a lot of plastic wrapping the item.Part 2: A reply from Green IT said that postage is free over €100 and that unfortunately my order was just under €100. Yes, €40 is indeed just slightly under €100!

The price was good, its working fine and deliverrd on time, and a phone call the day before to say it was going to be delivered the next day. Just one thing, after we removed the computer from the package there was no invoice or any paper work of any kind included. Not even a leaflet with the company name and address or contact details.

Great Irish company! I bought a refurbished laptop which came with very little signs of wear and arrived by courier in 4 days. I was able to ask questions over the phone before I bought it too with no delays.My laptop was 229€, a Lenovo ThinkPad, and it has a 118GB SSD hard drive, 7th gen Intel core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 13.3in screen. Just checked and they're not all gone yet it seems.It's thin and looks just as cool as having a MacBook, in case the idea of buying a used Lenovo ThinkPad is throwing you off - it's not a brick at all! :)) I'd recommend this laptop in particular to any parents sending their children to college soon or other students like me, if you can't afford a laptop for €1000 but need to get one that works well and looks the part in front of others. All in all it is an ideal company to deal with, if I need anything else I am returning here for sure and I could recommend it to anyone!

Rubbish customer support. Bought 32 x chromebooks for school use, four of which gave trouble & stopped working. Green IT weren't interested and fobbed us off with dealing with the manufacturer. Very time consuming to be dealing with this nonsense. These were new devices. Refurbished stuff that they offer is not great either.

Bought a Dell Optiplex that had updating issues from Day 1. Notified Green IT and was told it was Windows fault. Got the PC looked at a year later by a third party who said it's definitely the hardware and had to replace it. Green IT said sorry it's over a year we can't do anything for you. Even though I had liaised with them less than a month after I got the PC and I was fobbed off. Not a great experience. Wouldn't recommend

Great service and aftersales service as I ordered the wrong product. Everything was fast efficient and super friendly. We will be using this company again especially when it is so difficult to get Lithium-Ion batteries through the post/courier. Alan

An easy website to use. Description of laptop was honest and accurate. Service was excellent.I ordered on Friday night and the laptop was delivered Tuesday 5pm as promised. The laptop far exceeds my expectation, I am delighted. Thank you

No credible Customer Support. Bought a refurbished laptop in Aug 2022 and battery needed replacement after using it . Customer support advised by telephone that once battery was <60%, they would cover under their standard 1 year warranty. Raised a ticket in Dec 2022 and haven't heard back since. I contacted Greenit today only to be told now that they don't cover for battery replacement under their warranty. Mixed messaging from Greenit. I don't normally write reviews but did here out of pure frustrations from the lack of Customer Support.

I've used Green IT twice now to buy a PC and also a laptop for my daughter. The service is second to none. Not only is the quality of their equipment top class and exactly as described but the prices are hard to beat. Probably more importantly though is the after sales service. I had a small issue with the laptop and they couldn't do enough for me. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to buy top quality equipment at very competitive prices. Mark

Excellent Company. Delighted with the product and their service is second to none. Came in perfect condition and at an extremely fair price, a price I could not find elsewhere. These are my Go to Girls and Guys if I ever needed tech related products in the near future.The only let down was the delivery service, ring the door bell and leave the box outside the apartment complex and then drive off. Left outside where anyone could have just picked up and walked off with. This has nothing to do with GreenIT and not down rating them due to this.Keep up the good work GreenIT and Stay Safe to you and all your staff.
