Is gostudent.org Legit?

My daughter started receiving tutoring from go students almost a year now, in her words she has a lot more understanding in the subject areas she was not the most confident in.My daughter tutor Marjana is amazing and she’s happy with her, she makes her feel comfortable and takes the time to explain and engage my daughter. Overall I’m happy with this service.

My Lehrerin Pia is a a friendly and accommodating teacher. I need to do a lot of exercise and practice my self on my own after the class t.She is teaching me practical sentences like perfekt ,there are words which do not changes as per equation but according to the use in vocabulary in Germany which are unique.it will take time and I am hopeful that I will have grip on German language oneday.I am happy that i am learning the language from a German person.

At the beginning of Year 11, my son was predicted a 3 for his English GCSES, hence I decided to get him a tutor via GoStudent. He was very lucky to be matched with Cecile Virely. Cecile really knows her onions. She worked tirelessly with my son, revising his lessons with him, giving him tips on how to answer the questions for his English papers, boosting his confidence, etc. She provided us with feedback on progress on a regular basis. My son passed his English GCSES with an 6. I strongly recommend Cecile to anyone looking for additional support for their child in English

My tutor is fun engaging and every lesson is different.The classes vary from conversation to listening to watching videos podcasts and reading books .

I started tuition for my daughter during the Summer holiday, on the understanding that after the holidays, the tutor would schedule 'outside school hours' lessons. This has not happened, and almost 2 months later, the Science tutor has disappeared. My GoStudent contact person does not answer calls or texts, and the chat support is a bot that cannot resolve anything. I have credits of lessons owing which will become invalid, yet GoStudent has taken a further amount of £323.88 from my bank account. They are not upholding the arrangement agreed upon, and there is no option for resolution. They are unethically taking my money, without providing the agreed service. This is a scam. I will be reporting this to the financial conduct authority next.

If you want a spirited, lively and empathetic tutor she is most definitely the one for you! Her passion for drama was so contagious and refreshing, ultimately bringing me out of my comfort zone with such engaging teaching techniques. Whenever I had challenging dilemmas with GCSE Drama she was very willing to help with concise advice.

My tutor is patient and kind, he understands the topic so well he break it down into chunks, in order for me to get a greater understanding of each of the topics he teachers. Thank you Salman!

She gets along very well with my 8-year-old daughter and teaches German at a native level. I think she is a very successful teacher in student communication with his nice approach and easy-going nature.

Our tutor is excellent and has a super rapport with our daughter. Always on time, well prepared and courteous. Flexible too when we need to move lessons or if our daughter wishes to cover a different topic.

I stopped my son's tutoring because his exams were close, i specifically requested that GoStudent programme be stopped to enable my son focus on his revision. My son also told them he wants to stop so he can revise Still Gostudent still went ahead to collect money from my bank account because it was a direct debit. requesting for my money back, they decline to make a refund of £329.00.

I started to do Gostudent thinking if it helps me I will continje with it. I took lessons for almost a year and it did NOT help me one bit. Obv its not the tutors fault. But when I wrotw them i will stop now they SAID that I made an agreement for 3 WHOLE years. Are you frickin kidding me?? I NEVER made this agreement and it was never told me either. They scammed us taking our bank and now taking our money every month. I tried to stop it so many times. I couldn't. Being a student I didn't even have time for it. Especially because it didnt help me. The system also all left our groupchat dissapearing. This is totally UNACCEPTABLE. The support system is a bot and when I ask a question in email they dont answer. I hate this system and please do NOT take lessons from Gostudent. I wished i could give it 0 stars. They took so much money from me. Dumbass

Miss Dilara is very good with children psychology and get on well easily with the kids. also her knowledge with English, Turkish and Deutsch help my daughter to contact her easily.

The tutor is very in tune with our daughter and knows how to get her engaged with the work. She has a great understanding about our daughter’s difficulties in concentrating on a task.

Mashika, supported me with maths and chemistry from year 10, and throughout my GCSEs. Booking lessons with her was straightforward and flexible. She is a knowledgeable tutor and really tailored our lessons to the areas where I needed the most support. I achieved higher grades than predicted in both subjects, and would highly recommend her as a tutor.

My availability is difficult right now , but I am attempting to catch up on my lessons. My tutor is still very tolerant , as I recognise my requirements and limitations - I am however enjoying the course

Notice that the positive reviews are mostly about the tutors, not the company itself. The company charges parents up to 34 pounds or so and then pays the tutor 13 of that. It's model is based on exploitation and deception - they don't tell the parents that part
