Is goodenergy.co.uk Legit?

Great customer service, especially from Donna and Rob who always seem to be on the other end of our emails! Helpful, timely and effective action always taken to resolve our issues. They really do excel at the personal touch which makes us feel really looked after.

I had a large credit balance and emailed Good Energy to see if my monthly direct debit could be reduced. I got a reply the same day and have now been offered a large reduction of my monthly payment and a partial refund of my credit balance which will still give me a cushion over the winter months.

When I first contacted Good Energy about an apparently faulty meter, the person I spoke to didn't quite understand the issue. However, since Lou McCarthy has taken charge of my concerns, her communication has been faultless and the help I am getting very reassuring. She responds promptly, takes appropriate action and sends me ample, clearly stated information.

After recently adding battery storage alongside existing solar panels, I needed to change details on my FIT contract. Roisin, a clean energy specialist, made this a totally painless process.

Very efficient and prompt service from Courtney today. There was an issue with the website and I needed Courtney to action something manually for me, which she did very quickly.

I spoke with Aaron, he was very helpful, polite and easy to understand, dealt with my issue quickly and in a professional way. Very quick to get through on the phone as well. Outstanding customer service, very impressed!

Great service and app. Have been with Good Energy for many years. Competitive prices for electricity. Good Energy have been a huge driving force in reducing energy use and installing renewables in Britain.

Good Energy (Gifty) responded to my query within a couple of hours, providing a refund and reduction in my monthly payment. All through the pandemic I was not overcharged and had no concerns about my energy supply. I really believe this company cares for the environment and is doing its best to create a sustainable future for us all.

Connor was very patient and helpful ---- We did appreciate dealing with the same person. We are sure it wasn't her fault but we did get weary sending the same answers again and again. It could create the suspicion that we were being delayed deliberately.

No delay on call. Contacted James (Team B) who was immediately sympathetic and responsive and we quickly resolved the issue at hand. A satisfactory outcome.

I emailed to ask if my Direct Debit could be reduced as it was bulding up credit. I received a prompt reply from Remote Energy specialist Manashi, readily agreeing to the reduction and then on the following day, another message from him to confirm that the new DD had been set up. Manashi's emails were clear, friendly and helpful. I have always very much appreciated the contact with Good Energy over the years and this was no exception. I would strongly recommend the company to others.

Sent me a bill for 2021 that they claimed they had forgotten to send me at the time. I've sent them proof of payment for that period, which they have ignored and now they are threatening legal action :(
