golfgalaxy.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives golfgalaxy.com a fairly high trust score on the platform: 81.2. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Fair. Valid. Known.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 81.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to golfgalaxy.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Fair. Valid. Known. tags above. Long story short, we deemed this a known website, with a low scam probability. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning golfgalaxy.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between golfgalaxy.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of golfgalaxy.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of golfgalaxy.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. golfgalaxy.com is an innocuous suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether golfgalaxy.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether golfgalaxy.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, golfgalaxy.com.

I like golf galaxy. They took a bit of time to get my custom club figured out with the manufacturer but at least they reached out to me rather that me having to follow up with them about it.
Great company with an excellent sales staff. Very helpful. Selection was good, but I'd like to see more golf shoes/clothing in stock. Maybe a different variety. But other than that, an excellent place to poke around and see what's new. Always great deals and comparable to most online sources. Guy named Joe in East Hanover helped me and made me a customer for life. A great help, laid back dude and full of knowledge. Really helpful, especially considering the master's was about to start.
Signed up for Trustpilot just to write this review. So I ordered a number of golf clubs which were dispatched in two shipments (standard shipping). They arrived at the destination FedEx facility on time but have been (and still are as I write this) stuck there for 2 weeks now. Since I'm physically outside the US, I haven't been able to resolve the issue with FedEx despite phone calls. I then reached out to Golf Galaxy hoping that they would help sorting things out with FedEx, they immediately offered to reship by 1 day shipping at zero cost. The shipment was sent on Saturday, and was received on the following Monday. This just goes to show how the business cares about its customers. Thank you Golf Galaxy!
I worked with Nathan at the Roseville Golf Galaxy today to fit two clubs my boyfriend bought me for Xmas. He was super helpful and knowledgeable.
John Fargo at the Lutz Florida store was amazing. Great service. After years of trying to hit irons straight John got me into a hybrid. Never I I hit balls so straight. Thanks Again.
Went in the store first to use the simulator and see what driver I needed. The staff was helpful and I ended up ordering the new TaylorMade M3 driver. Happy with the packaging it arrived in and club works great
Horrible customer service. Ordered a limited-edition Scotty Cameron putter and got a confirmation that the order was placed. After about 6 hrs I received another email saying the order has been canceled. When I called, they had no reason behind it other than it was a glitch on their end and said tough luck it's out of stock now. I could have gotten this on another site, but it sold out within minutes. Lost out on a great putter and all they could do was give me 300pts =$10 gift card. No customer loyalty or care.
Was looking for a new 3wood and thought I was lucky that only 2 people were there and I was one of them.walked through the isles multiple times without anyone helping me but I could see 2people at the front counter having a good conversation without a worry about customers needs. This is the 3rd time I have had this problem, I will not be back, what happened to this place, it used to be a great place
Ordered a $50 e-gift card for Father’s Day. Received the email and nice little animation, but the actual gift card would not load due to a server error on their end. After talking to 6 different customer service reps (none of which could get my paid gift card to me) I’ve left it w a 1-2 day “resolution” which better be a refund. I have no use for a gift card 1-2 days After our celebration. SIX customer service reps!!! Terrible terrible. Guess my dad is getting cash and I will NEVER buy him another gift card from Golf Galaxy.
In March 2019, I purchased a $400 Callaway driver from the Chantilly VA Golf Galaxy store. In October 2020, the driver's shaft broke in two. I took the two pieces to the Chantilly store hoping it would offer, or ask Callaway for, some discount on a new driver for which I was prepared to spend several hundred dollars. The store's manager offered to replace the shaft for free, but after picking up the club a week later, I realized that the store had substituted a steel shaft that was six inches shorter than the original graphite one, rendering the club unusable. After reading many negative customer comments about Golf Galaxy, it occurred to me that the manager had played a prank. The next day, I purchased a new Callaway driver online at a price well below that offered by Golf Galaxy.
Flat out false advertising. I ordered over $1k of golf balls based on their 'Free 2-day delivery.' That would mean I would get the balls Tuesday. Delivery is now Friday. Big problem as recipient of balls left today (Thursday) and now I must ship to him at my cost. This is beyond bad and is fraud. If you advertise 2-day delivery as an incentive to sell, delivery cannot be 5 days.
Even though Golf Galaxy is owned by Dick's, I assumed that a golf "superstore" would have left handed clubs. I just left the Newark, DE store and saw 4 left handed drivers and one set of used irons. Frankly, I'm tired of being told that they can order whatever I want. I can do that myself. Maybe if you stocked left handed clubs you would sell more.
I got a e-gift card for my sons birthday for 3 lessons. I got the card on 12-26-24, The card was supposed to go to his email on his birthday 2-4-24. He didn't get it. I contacted customer service, they sent another e-gift card which he got. I also got charged for the second e-card. I contacted customer service again and they said the charge would not go through. Today the charge went through. So I spent a lot of money for 3 lessons. I will try to contact them again. I wish I would have chosen a different place to get him lessons
What a disappointment...!! At first, I was excited because I was looking forward buying a new driver. Only to find out I cannot use their simulator (new policy). I was told in order test any products you need to rent an area. I simply put it away and went to PGA Superstore, where I test and bought my Stealth driver :)To management, do you really believe those that want to purchase a club is going to rent an area first, and then buy. C'mon guys! You're smarter than that.....
Golf Galaxy rates a ZERO out of 5 stars in Customer Service. My son spent $1600 on irons and was told that he would have them in 6-8 weeks. it has been over 15 weeks and of course they are blaming Titleist. I understand that they cannot control the production of clubs by the manufacturer, but what they can control is someone updating the customer with status. We have had to call them multiple times and keep getting new "drop dead dates." Clearly the SPRINGDALE, OHIO location does not care ONE OUNCE about retaining customers. I will make sure that no one I know shops here....
ordering a 4 and a sw to round out a new set bought elsewhere several days in no tracking no updates , call they don't know anything😑 never again, never ever againtrying to cancel see how that goes!
We thought the staff had the wrong attitude, we would have spent more $$ if they were interested. Terrible soft skills, when you don’t tell the customer thank you! We won’t be back needless to say…not impressed looks like 3/4 out of reviews agree🙄
Be extremely careful ordering anything from Golf Galaxy online. They essentially stole over $300 from us last year. They won't acknowledge it or even talk to us about it. All they'll say is they don't have an order from us even though we can show them and prove they charged us twice for the same item, which we never received. We were able to dispute one of the charges through our bank and got that back. The other charge Golf Galaxy contested our dispute and got to keep the money. All this even though they say they don't have an order from us.
Ordered new ap3's and a titleist h2. Delivery was supposed to be 6-21. They have no tracking number, customer service has no idea what's going on. They show no movement, meaning they haven't even shipped yet. I have to wait 24 to 48 hrs for a call from their team. These are golf clubs not test results. I dont want a call from your special team, just my clubs. Wow. Incompetent morons
I've had sort of a mixed experience with Golf Galaxy, both in person and online. So, it was interesting to come to Trustpilot and see that some others have experienced very similar issues having to do with customer service and shipping, specifically. Here's my tale:IN PERSON: Went to the closest GG, which is about 2 hours away, because I wanted to hit with the two sets of clubs I was considering. They had the Taylormade set, but not the Cobra. That's OK... nobody has the Cobra in stock. They were crowded, and customers seemed to be using the bays as free Top Golf, just hitting ball after ball with no staff monitoring them. Not the company's fault, I guess, but when I stopped an employee wandering around and asked how to sign up for a bay, and about testing clubs, he seemed kind of confused and disinterested and said to just pick one and hang out waiting my turn. I was ready to leave after that encounter, but my wife insisted since we had driven all that way that I stay and hit the Taylormade set, so she went over and grabbed a young guy who got us into a bay and actually spent quite a lot of time having me hit some clubs and giving me advice on flex, loft, etc. He even measured the loft of the sand wedge to tell me how many degrees it was. I thanked him, but we left without purchasing because we couldn't use our discount in store, only online.ONLINE: I ordered the Cobra set after all and used our discount. It shipped the next day and arrived at my local FedEx (which is also two hours away) one day later, and here's where FedEx steps in to screw it up. AS USUAL, it took this FedEx another 8 days to deliver my clubs (they do this even if one pays extra for next day delivery). OK, not GG's fault, but I wanted to start my complaints with them to make sure they knew that FedEx wasn't doing them any favors. I was able to immediately chat with a human online, and though she was a bit stiff and scripted (who isn't these days?) she ultimately offered me a $100 discount on the clubs even though the delay was FedEx's fault. So, I would rate that customer service pretty high.I then ordered a batch of on-sale golf balls a week later, and once again FedEx got hold of them and IS STILL sitting on the delivery 7 days after they arrived at the FedEx warehouse. Once again, I notified GG via chat, recommended they start using UPS instead of FedEx, and got $10 refunded even though FedEx is the culprit.So... I'm torn. Whether or not you get treated well in the store (and I've been back once again and got the same mixed reception) seems to depend on who you talk to. Ordering online, at least from my location, is guaranteed to take 10+ days to arrive, but GG is good about taking responsibility and cutting me a deal to ease my frustration.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
