Is goldeneaglecoin.com Legit?

I will firstly say that I really like the variety of inventory the company has. That being said, I am very disappointed in what has transpired with my recent order. I have ordered before via CC and PayPal without any issue and received product with normal timeframes.This time around, I paid via wire transfer for a more expensive order on 7/23 and it is now 8/5 and the only update I received online is that my order is in process with an estimated shipping date 7/26. I have gone 14 days without an update and I have not received any response to my follow-up emails. For future purchases I will look elsewhere due to the lack of communication.

The fact that the website is easy to use, with reasonable prices. Very nice coins, easy to track shipping, overall good experience.

They accommodated a different payment method that enabled me to get the item I needed.The book came promptly. The price was very reasonable and it was better than expected. Great service!

For me, products are organized the way i think (i.e.- all the Kookaburras in one place.) Coins were received timely, and were in pristine condition - no negative surprises.

I bought gold in Dec of 2020 and it took twenty seven days to arrive (though I may have paid via check). I also bought silver in Jun of 2024 and it arrived in seven days, and I paid via ACH. Great prices and selection.

Very easy process. That's important when you are wiring money. You need to have confidence in the company you are dealing with. Every time I have placed an order, it went exactly as promised.

I was able to find something which was unavailable on many other sites. Grateful the item was just as promised and delivered on time. Thanks for making mothers day a special one.

I was a good regular monthly customer. The first coins I received were smudged and scratched. I was shocked to find out that they do not use Jewelers gloves to handle their coins. They use the USPS, who would stick my coins in the mailbox out on the highway, where anyone could steal them. After my last order was missing, I found out that my personal information had been compromised, due to the paper receipt it was included with the coins. I ended up having to cancel my credit cards, change my phone number and my email address. When I brought it to the attention of the girl over the phone, that the coins were supposed to be insured, and I was supposed to be compensated, she got very nasty with me and hung up the phone repeatedly, as I tried to call back and reason with them. It seems that many of their five-star reviews are written by people who work for the store.

Ordering was easy with professional staff. Items arrived safe and secure in a timely manner. I'm very pleased with the service Golden Eagle provided.

This is an honest company that puts their customers ahead of the sale.

Can't give Zero stars but they deserve it.Three silver maple leaf coins all listed as BU condition turned out to be junk, I have purchased better quality culls.Coins had multiple issues including scratches from apparently being cleaned to one that had greasy fingerprints on it.Second negative experience from this seller with no attempt by customer service to resolve my issues so just a waste of time to try.

LONG time customer. I usually place several orders a year. Never a prob. only once actually and during this last year. I called and a nice woman (sorry forgot her name) on the phone upgraded some of the coins (very cool) on my order (that never happens w/ coin co's) and shipped it out 2 day. BTW I'm on the West Coast so opposite end. Their shipping is always great. 5 Stars.

Got my order of three uncirculated one ounce gold coins on time and in exactly the condition I expected. Would order from them again and would recommend them to others. I’m not the type to leave reviews unless it’s a bad review, but since we’re talking about a 6K purchase I thought I pass on my positive transaction

Apparently I'm not the only one with long shipping delays. Could coins advertised as "in stock" actual have to be acquired before re-selling? Grading system is more lenient than other suppliers. What would be a "good" elsewhere ends up as a "very good" with Golden Eagle. Worse of all, buyers are forced to set up an account before being able to order. This is not done with most reputable on-line sellers of any items.

I have been purchasing precious metals and coins from Golden Eagle Coins for a Decade or more . I have Never had a bad experience with them . I have Never had to send anything back . My orders have Always been delivered promptly and in Excellent condition . I am a Very Satisfied customer . They have given me a 5+ Rated service !

The Issue was resolved,...Clint was Awesome.(There are still Human Beings that communicate with each other with courtesy & respect)...instead of robots.Communication with this Company was Terrible, until I got Clint's attention through Review board miraculously.Corona Virus has reeked havoc on this country in every way possible, but that is NO EXCUSE for not replying simply to emails & making some way for people to contact thru phone....Work from home...hire someone to answer the phone...hire someone to only answer emails....send it by horseback or pigeon if u have to...have someone only calling customers on their phone number given...ANYTHING! If your business is so slow & almost non existent due to the entire city, state or country shutting down...then you should use all those people to answer your customers from home...This was a Communication issue......& Clint at Golden Eagle Coins simply turned a Horrible experience into a Really Excellent Experience through his communication skills & kindness!

I was just googling history of this company and came across bad reviews. This has never been my experience when dealing with Golden Eagle Coins. I have made plenty of purchases over past few years and did so on their web sight with a very good buying experience that I have found unequalled anywhere ! That is my only complaint about Golden Eagle Coins….they have spoiled me with their great selection, quality and customer service that I rarely had to question anything. But when I did ,they addressed my concerns and handled their Bussiness very professionally and easy to talk to. In short I would recommend them to the first time buyer as well as a seasoned veteran in numismatics. I don’t give referrals often but you can take this one to the bank!
