globaltestmarket.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives globaltestmarket.com a medium-high trust score on the platform: 77.4. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Standard. Fair.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this above-average score? We came up with the 77.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to globaltestmarket.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Known. Standard. Fair. tags above. Long story short, we deem this website low risk, but you still need to pay attention to details and use common sense when engaging in online transactions of any kind. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning globaltestmarket.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between globaltestmarket.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of globaltestmarket.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of globaltestmarket.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. globaltestmarket.com is a low-risk website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether globaltestmarket.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether globaltestmarket.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, globaltestmarket.com.

Being member for last 15 years, done a tons of surveys but noticed recently their standards of customer service slipped considerably and not bothered any more. There are much better panels at the market at the moment like Valued opinions or Ipsos I say, with far better customer service.
Once you've filled out your multitude of profile surveys designed to help them send you relevant surveys, they'll send you invites via email, you'll spend a good 20-30 minutes then be screened out resulting in most of the survey being completed for free. They will of couse give a sweepstake entry for your time but so will the millions of other members, if you do manage to complete a survey or two it'll take an eternaty to collect the 1000 points required for your $50.USD cheque which may or may not arrive.... thats if they don't freeze your account before you can collect.
I have a bad feeling about this site. Whilst I am not screened out on as many surveys as I am on Valued Opinions, what I find unsettling is there reward / point system. Apparently with every survey you are getting 10/50/100 entries into their cash prize draw but I am curious to know has anyone actually won anything? Their website is also unattractive and sometimes difficult to navigate around on a smart phone. I have earned 990 life points but there isn't a single good reward to cash these in for. Needless to say I will gladly forfeit them and close down my account.
Very poor, trying to chase them for £20.00 Boots vouchers that I have earned.Takes a long while to build any points.Frequent screen outs-after they have collected lots of questions and lots of personal information from you. Like another reviewer has said, I think they possibly sell this on. Very disappointed. Avoid. You spend a lot of valuable time answering surveys, often screened out then have to chase payments. Takes a long time to accumulate points and a long time to get payment
Totally defunct site. Can't log in at all. It doesn't accept my original password so tried to reset. It doesn't accept ANY passwords. I ensured the characters meet at least 6 and above, ensured BIG caps and SMALL caps, ensured numeric and special characters added, even went to a separate website to generate a secure password, but NO IT DOESN'T ACCEPT ANY PASSWORD. Decided to give up and move on. I want to give ZERO stars but I can't so the worst I can give.
Tells you that the survey is 20 min but it takes nearly an hour to complete in quite fast pace and then it screens you out without giving you your well earned points and inrolling you in some prize draw instead. What an absolute joke and complete waste of time! I am leaving this panel and I wouldn't advise anyone who values their time and effort to join.
I have been with both Global Test Market and MySurveys for several years with no complaint. However, since the two became LifePoints, I can't login, have emailed them several times, no response. Also, I have stopped receiving invitation emails from them which is bizarre as previously I was inundated with them. I am extremely annoyed as I am owed quite a bit of money. Not good.
Been with them for several years and had no problems until September when I couldn't log in to my account. Four months and 6 e-mails later I am still waiting for the courtesy of an acknowledgement of my problem, let alone help with solving it.Update: Another month, another e-mail sent, still no reply.Update2: Finally, after nearly six months I got a reply and the problem has been resolved.Update3: Two weeks without problems then they changed to Life Points. Wouldn't recognise my password, when I tried to reset I am told something went wrong. I have e-mailed them but given previous experience, it's more in hope than expectation.
Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. I’ve been a long time tester and had numeral problems with this company. The most prominent was having my account deleted for no apparent reason and failing to receive a valid explanation, despite attempts or contact their support, both via email and Facebook. Completely incompetent. They also owe me £20 in PayPal payment and will not deliver what I hard earned via surveys. Do not sign up, they are unbelievably useless and provide terrible customer service. Avoid st all costs! I plan to take this even further.
I spent December slogging through these survey sites in the hope of earning some extra Christmas money. Thus far, Globaltestmarket is the only one which has paid anything, £25 in Amazon credit compared to precisely £0 for other ten or so I've tried. The sheer number of negative reviews on here is highly suspicious. I smell Swagbucks' sock puppets in action.
I have been filling these surveys in for years and normally you usually eventually get your promised rewards. However in May 2018 I completed a survey which took over an hour for a promised 1000 points (less than £10). I have been trying to get the promised points for over 10 weeks and submitted 3 requests to them but they keep ignoring me. To add insult to injury I have today received an invitation to a TWO HOUR SURVEY for a promised 1000 points . No way I am going to fall for this twice!!!
Sadly this company has been extremely bad with communications and responses. Completed a home test survey and was never compensated. This was a month ago. Also, they take forever to redeem points and to get paid. I have been communicating with them and they provided a reference number and that is as far as it gets.I no longer do any of their surveys and have advised all those I recommended to be aware.
I tried my first Global Test Market for over 2 years and have bought a new car in the last week and never completed an automotive survey for them but still got according to our records you have completed this survey. Clearly their records are wrong or they are just dodgy. I let you decide but all these reviews cannot be wrong it just a shame there is not a warning when this firm advertises.
I have been a member of this site for several years and had found them good. However, I have been unable to log in for about 4 weeks and as another person has put despite resetting my password via the link I am still unable to log in. Numerous emails to them remain unanswered.I tried the other link for an activation email which apparently cannot link my name and date of birth. Strange really as the other link for forgotten password accepts the same information.I am lucky as I only have about £10 on there. This was a lesson learnt by me from the sister site My Survey which was down for ages. I resolved to leave only a minimum amount of rewards in.
It takes you forever to do the surveys, then they don't even count most of the time because apparently you weren't the right person to take it. Then when you have finally accumulated some point to redeem a 5€ gift card, they tell you that you first have to have 1000 points... which is impossible to get. Thought to earn some bucks on this side, unfortunately it's just a loss of time.
I do surveys through a company called rewardia, through which Global test market provide some surveys. I have fully completed 4 surveys for GTM through this company rewardia, only to be told that I did not qualify for the survey.....at the final stage of submitting the survey. At first I let it pass and should have known better, but fell for this company again and again. Well today is the final straw, after completing a survey about fuel for my car. I will never do another survey for GTM no matter the "reward" offered. They are dishonest thieves.
As a long serving member of this site I was willing to spend a whole day responding to a three part intensive survey.I have just completed it and have a message informing me that I have timed outChances are that the sponsors have paid Global but I am to receive no pointsWhat makes it worse is that they assure me that I am a respected user and that they appreciate my time and effort. Totally unacceptable !
I spent over two hours completing a survey for it to time out right at the end. I emailed company and said they would look into it within 6 weeks. The response was clearly one that was implying it's unlikely I will receive the points. After this happening I searched for reviews and came across exactly the same issues. Totally untrustworthy company.Update...... months down the line and still no response!
Do not waste your time filling in the surveys. There are constant problems with their app and website. Often fill in surveys and don’t get and reward. The help team are extremely unhelpful. They have just closed my account for ‘unhonest answers’ which they do not have any evidence for.
Used false name to confirm call spamming from them one servay about shopping started getting calls from gambling. Utilities , text service etc scam avoid at all cost

“LifePoints is a total SCAM and dishonest! Steer clear!”

I have been a member of this group for years. Back when it was Global Test Market, it was fantastic! I always go prompt payment. I even did a product test on a Keurig and they let me keep it. After a break for a couple years, I came back. Whomever took over and switched it to LIFEPOINTS are complete SCAMMERS! Conveniently, right before you have enough to cash out they will stop sending surveys. Then for no reason, when you have done NOTHING wrong, they will claim you broke the rules and deactivate your account without ever paying for your time! I asked for specifics and they just regurgitated a list of rules it could have been, but refused to tell me just what I personally had done wrong. Because I didn't do anything wrong at all! I also do in person product tests with a l9cal company and am always in great standing with that company. It's completely insulting to my character and it's illegal and a SCAM! Steer clear! There are so many negative reviews lately saying the same thing. A very dishonest company! Who knows what they are even doing with your personal information at this point! Service Value Quality

“Liars and thieves”

As soon as you have rewards, they will block you and you will not be able to get your money! Their customer service is terrible - they were sending me different unrelated emails. Tip for consumers:Liars Products used:Surveys Service Value Quality

“Waste of time”

I have been on the Lifepooints website for a couple of months. I wasted my time doing the surveys, I made $10. The next time I accumulated enough points to cash out, I couldn't, and when I reached out to customer service I was to,d that my account was deactivated and my rewards had been forfeited because I was not doing the surveys according to their terms. So in other words, while I wasn't getting paid, I was doing the surveys correctly, but wasn't when my rewards were due. Don't waste your time! Service Quality

“This is a very good survey / I like it a lot.”

This is a very good survey / I like it a lot."I would like to have a variety of questions, and the survey should be short because some are too time-consuming. Thank you again for the prize, and it should increase according to inflation." Service Value Quality

“Serious accusations”

I joined LifePoints few months ago. I was very happy to participate in the surveys but a month ago they close my account and accused me of not being legitimate. These accounts hit me hard as I think I am a very honest person Service Value Quality

“Waste of time”

I'd been doing surveys for lifepoints for around 5 months. All was going well, I made £10 and redeemed my awards with no problem. A couple of weeks ago I tried to redeem another £10 to my PayPal account but an error message kept popping up. I wrote to customer support and 2 days later was told that my account has been deactivated and I'm unable to redeem my awards. The same thing seems to happen to a lot of lifepoints members so I really do think they're a bit of a scam. They can stick their points where the sun don't shine. Y live and Ipsos Isay are better options Products used:Survey Service Value Quality

“Liars!”

"Hi Robert, We hope that the thousands of people who have shared pleasant experiences with us are proof enough that LifePoints Panel is credible. In the event that your account was deactivated, it was because you disregarded our terms and conditions." Complete and utter lie! I asked you on a number of occasions to inform me where I had allegedly done something wrong. You couldn't! Why? Because you made it up so you wouldn't have to pay the money you owed me: £160! And even if I was somehow guilty of whatever it was I was accused of (completely non specific and wholly ambiguous), surely you're obliged to pay up what I have already legitimately earned before closing me down? It's evident you're a bunch of fraudsters simply because of the number of people with the same complaint! My advice to anybody using Lifepoints is to claim your money regularly; every time you've earned even just a fiver, because, they'll close your account whenever they need to save money. Service Value Quality

“Lifepoints Survey company are Thieves!”

After doing surveys for this cmpany for 3 weeks, requesting 5.00 in rewards each week, the site froze up and wouldn't let me request my 5.00 and had no surveys. I contacted customer service and they had me do a couple things to trouble shoot, nothing worked! Then I get a message that im answering inconsistently or going thru a survey too fast and they suspended my account 🤣🤣🤣 and forfeit my 8.00 on my acct 😡. Im very consistent and honest when answering surveys! Ive been doing surveys for 8 months so anyone that does surveys daily knows they are repetitive in wording so you dont have to read word by word usually, so yes i might be faster than someone doing their first survey. I know those that do surveys know what im talking about! I would not recommend this company, they are thieves! Out of know where they shut you down will not pay you what youve earned! If you do surveys for them, set your phone down and go do dishes between each question 🤷‍ Signed. Been scammed by lifepoints! Tip for consumers:No Products used:Survey site

“Won't pay out”

Trying to cash out points for an Amazon gift card and kept getting an error message. Sent a note to help desk and the response is that my account is deactivated because "your membership and/or participation has not met our quality standards or membership requirements. Therefore, your account has been deactivated." There is nothing in my survey history that indicates issues and Lifepoints owes me a $25 gift card. And, in fact, I was still receiving survey invites and completed the monthly My Telco survey without issue and received credit. I feel this is Lifepoints way of culling their membership and keeping the profits for themselves. Don't be fooled by them. They get you hooked and then they turn on you. Service Quality

“DEACTIVATED!”

I have been with Life Points when they were called My Points...I have done both online and mail in surveys for years...this morning I received an email stating my membership has been deactivated due to 'terms and violations'. I have written a letter to Lightspeed Panel, Life Points' company and request an investigation and immediate reinstatement of my account...I have over 2000 points and was trying to get a Pay Pal payment for a least a week until this happened...I'M UPSET! Tip for consumers:None Products used:I wanted a Pay Pal payment Service Value Quality

“If there was an option for 0 points, they'd get it”

They started off fine and then reckoned they'd sent the rewards, when they blatantly hadn't, then surprise surprise I couldn't log in and my account had been closed so they got to keep the rewards and basically said I was a liar. Don't waste your time with them, they'll just rip you off Service Value Quality

“They don't even deserve one star.”

From the comments I have been reading here, I am at least glad that I am not alone. It seems I am one of many who have been faithfully completing surveys with this company for many years and then suddenly dumped without warning. With some lame excuse that I had committed fraudulent activity and tried to complete as many surveys as possible while not even qualifying for them. I am not even given any examples of what I supposedly did wrong. That is absolute rubbish! I didn't even qualify for most of the surveys that were on my page anyway. I used to think this was one of the best survey panels around but now I think they are among the worst. If this is what they do to long term respondents they are crooks, especially as I have also completed surveys with other panels as well for many years without any issues. I don't appreciate people who waste my precious time! Products used:This was a survey panel site. Service Value Quality

“Denied Entry”

After doing survey after survey for years, I was denied entry for "Suspicious Activity" on my account. No explanation of what the alleged activity was. DO NOT sign up with these people unless you want to earn points, then be denied access for no explainable reason and be greatly disappointed. Seems like they just want to turn over their survey base by throwing off the long-time contributors. Service Value Quality

“Avoid, they do not pay”

I had been completing surveys from this company for a few years, and everything was fine, although always slow to pay out. However, on 15th January last I asked for €10 to be paid out and their system did not allow my claim. I contacted them and after messing around until today with lame excuses, today they blocked my account and stole the balance form it (€15, not much but still) with false accusations. “Lifepoints throttles you”

I used to love lifepoints. I was able to cadhout with them everyday at either $5 or $10 now it takes over a week to get enough points to get $5. The closer you get to cashing out the less surveys you get. And when you try to cashout you cant. It never loads. It stays stuck on the loading screen. Products used:Lifepoints surveys Service Value Quality

“SCAMERS. THEY CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT ANY REASON”

Im very disappointed at this website. Once I had enough points to redeem $10 dollars, they cancelled my account without any reason. I do not recommend at all this survey website. After all the hours I spent filling surveys, they just cancelled my account. Service Value Quality

“$1.50 an hour?”

A lot of work, minimal return. Not paid for time taken doing pre qualifying test for each survey. The surveys offer kick you off 80% done. So no pay! You can average less than $2.00 per hour. That's a fact. Tip for consumers:Be patient. Products used:It's a survey site review. Service Value Quality

“Having difficulty getting my earned points”

Don't take surveys asking to record weekly usage of beverages. Completed one faithfully for a week ending on 29 May 2019 and still haven't been awarded my 600 points. When I ask them, they give me the basic "we're looking into the matter" replies. After six e-mails, I still have not been awarded points. Seems this new company has trouble getting up to speed. They will stretch you patience. Poor survey company-scam?!

“Just one of those!”

In fairness to them, they have other available redeeming options now unlike before it's only by US Check. Around 50 points being the highest reward which is quite low as compared to other companies thereby making redemption quite slow. Don't post message to them through Facebook as they rarely answer & late replies via email.

“Canceled account for no reason”

I have been a part of Lifepoints for years and have gotten Amazon gift cards through them. However, they have canceled my account twice due to "suspicious activities" which I have no involvement in. I feel they are trying to get rid of their consumers who are trying and canceling their membership without any warning or reason, except with a lot of b.s. Service Value Quality

“The surveys are usually quick to complete so it's not...”

The surveys are usually quick to complete so it's not going to eat up a big chunk of your day. The points add up for good rewards, here and there marketing companies will pay cash but that's not often.

“Total Scam. Don't get sucked in.”

I created my membership and spent a lot of time taking surveys. Once I connected my Venmo and went back to taking another survey, they deactivated my account. When I contacted customer service, they have a blanket statement. I did all the surveys with much thought and answered honestly. Here is their communication: After conducting an audit of your account, it was determined that your membership and/or participation has not met our quality standards or membership requirements. Therefore, your account has been deactivated. When I pressed for specifics, they sent this: Unfortunately, your membership and/or participation did not allow us to fulfill our obligation or meet the expectations we set for ourselves. Therefore, the original decision to close your account remains. I'm hoping my identity isn't stolen. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS! Service Value Quality

“Vacuum communication”

I joined the other day hoping to earn some extra cash for my opinions. I took a few surveys and was liking the site, already having earned over $5. I went back the next day and find I am now unable to log in, being told so. I wrote an email asking what happened and how to fix it, yet nobody writes back. Though this is supposed to be a real, credible site, the lack of response is making me wonder.

“Cancellation of Account without any viable reason”

Their response to my cancellation was so vague it could have been for any reason at all. Once you've accrued too many points, they will lock you out. That's unfair because they've collected lots of data and not fulfilled their part of the compensation. Service

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. Are You the Owner of globaltestmarket.com?

If you own globaltestmarket.com, we’d love to hear from you. If you'd like to challenge the trust score we’ve assigned, we’re happy to take a closer look. However, please be prepared to provide solid proof of your business's legitimacy. Introduce yourself with your name (not just "Admin").

When domain owners contact us to dispute their trust score, we kindly ask for the following:

* Business documentation that verifies your legitimacy (e.g., certificate of incorporation, business registration, or official records with the site or business name).

* Your personal LinkedIn profile and the business's social media accounts (e.g., Facebook).

* If available, proof of satisfied customers (e.g., screenshots, not just testimonials on your website), evidence of inventory, or records of handling order cancellations properly.

We’re more than willing to update your review based on the evidence you provide—the more proof, the higher your trust score. Please note, however, that we cannot verify non-operational websites or those redirected to other URLs. Additionally, we do not verify websites involved in high-risk financial services, gambling, adult content, or illegal activities.
