globalsources.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives globalsources.com a fairly high trust score on the platform: 81.6. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Fair. Valid. Known.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 81.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to globalsources.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Fair. Valid. Known. tags above. Long story short, we deemed this a known website, with a low scam probability. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning globalsources.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between globalsources.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of globalsources.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of globalsources.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. globalsources.com is an innocuous suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether globalsources.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether globalsources.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, globalsources.com.

I had a great experience using GlobalSources.com for sourcing wholesale products. Recently attended their Consumer Electronics Show in Hong Kong, and it was impressive! The event showcased innovative products and connected me with reliable suppliers. The platform is user-friendly, though some supplier responses could be faster. Overall, very satisfied!
This is a scam. Members (seller companies) are not verified and they scam you. I did order from verified company (ASPIRING ELECTRONICS TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD) and they sent me an invoice via email, I paid and then problem start. Seller sent me a different product, which was worth 5% off the price what I paid. Support not even tried to investigate the company. Do not do any business via Global Sources, you will only lose many. Hope this can help.
Scam. Not verified suppliers contact you. When you try to ask them they have the simple answer that this supplier is not registered with us. The. How they leaked our information.
shocking so calleed verified members scamming companty dont care thankfully i pay by credit card so doing a section 75 visa charge back have a nice day
Through this website you will only come into contact with scammers. They immediately ask to be in touch via WhatsApp, always pay in advance via dubious accounts that do not belong to a company. So be careful, do not do business via this site.
I used Globalsources.com to find a supplier. Having found a supplier for the goods I required (ASPIRING ELECTRONICS TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD) we agreed terms and pricing and I placed an order. Aspiring Technology sent an invoice which I paid with PayPal. Aspiring Electronics Technology sent tracking info but it couldn't be found on the tracking website. When I followed this up the company said they were waiting for the stock to arrive and they should have it in a few days. Subsequently I received an email stating that the order was cancelled, no explanation given. A refund was made back to my PayPal account but what I can only assume was a difference between Sterling to US Dollar exchange rates meant I received back £49.01 less than I paid. To date I've had no explanation from Aspiring Electronics Technology Co Ltd or Globalsources.com as to why the order was cancelled.
The suppliers will take the conversation outside of globalsources to finish the deal on their terms. Asking you to pay upfront without globalsources knowing anything about the deal or payments. making it the perfect breeding ground for scammers. Globalsources is not interested in buyer protections and they do nothing to stop this shady business practices
They've much better than Alibaba and I have had no problems with their suppliers and getting samples. At least the US customs don't flag my products sent to me with their suppliers!
Maximum suppliers are fraud they dont except PayPal or credit card payment because in this payment method they are unable to do scam with buyer. All fraud suppliers just get money in zelle and bank transfer.ALERT !PayPal or credit card providers allowed buyer to claim charge back in negative activities like fraud or other things SO ALWAYS USE THIS PAYMENT METHOD ONLY
GLOBAL SOURCES IS TRASH!THEY ARE CRIMINAL ENABLERS, PERIOD.THEY GET PAID TO ALLOW THEIR SO-CALLED SUPPLIERS TO STEAL FROM PEOPLE IN USA.THEIR COUNTRY SUCKS SO BAD, THAT ALL THEY CAN DO IS STEAL FROM USA. I ADVISE ANYONE THAT HAS BEEN RIPPED OFF BY GLOBAL SOURCES OR ANOTHER CHINESE COMPANY, TO EMAIL THE US-CHINA EMBASY.
Most if not all so called supplier are actually scammers (usually Africans). I was scammed yesterday by a supplier that was listed as advance verified and had the most variety of products. And once you are looted don't expect any compensation by Global source. Its a hub and a platform given to thieves so please don't fall for it like I did. Very disappointed with Global source for giving their space to thieves, there is no much verification on their sidePlease stay away from Supplier MyCanna Inc (Nathaniel Clemens), they are theives.
On the platform, all the sellers are purportedly related to Europe. However, the online sellers are 100% scammers. I have recently encountered different scams, with scammers claiming to be from Belgium, France, the USA, and Turkey. Be aware and never use this platform for buying any products. These digital scammers are very professional, with polished websites and dummy contact numbers, making it hard to believe they are scamming you.Recently, in response to my inquiry, a seller approached me and offered his products very professionally. He agreed to sell me 200 units of different products. However, once the payment was made, he made an excuse that the warehouse manager could not deliver the product because my order quantity was below the MOQ. When I requested a refund, they gave me a timeline of 14 to 60 days. In reality, they have already scammed me and will never return the money. This is just their method of scamming.
This website breeds corruption and spam. Many companies listed there are either not functioning anymore or do not sell the so-called products listed. Any RFQ submitted ends up with Scammers and you get all these fake companies demanding for deposits prior to any business visits, most uses their personal accounts. And you are lucky enough to get through on a number provided, over 80% of the listed numbers do not work or are wrong contacts to innocent people, the owner of the number will tell you “oh it must be from a fake website, I do not sell anything like that, sorry”. And yes they are right. When I spoke to someone from GlobalSources.com, they told me to do my own diligence because they cannot guarantee that a verified company is legit. How exactly they are verified remains questionable, I will refrain from using these so called platforms to submit RFQ for anything, you will be rubbed or spammed.
**WARNING**This company DOES NOT VERYFY the sellers, I've got scammed and they don't want to be responsible, the CEO must be concern because this seller it's on the company platform ..**WARNING WARNING!!!! SOUNDS LIKE THEY KNOW ABOUT AND DONT CARE!!!""" Company name YSF Trade Inc."""
This company has all fake supplier which are sitting to scam you. This is a really scam they make you too much comfortable and make you really convince to buy their products which is really fake they will never diliver you .I ordered 200 pcs of cerave but they blocked me after payment and took away my all money. They show you there llc and pictures of wholesale products but everything is fake. Never trust them and never buy from them.
Lovely experience in GlobalSources.com!Their Suppliers are nice and professional. I can have much more product information before I place the order.
worst service, I talked to Elaine thousands of times, and still, she did not cooperate well. they have nothing in stock as everything has to be preordered. they serve delayed responses and I had to make almost 5 calls just to get the performance invoice. I highly condemn working with such a sluggish team.
I recently had the opportunity to use Global Sources for my sourcing needs. Global Sources' O2O platform has revolutionized B2B trade shows for big buyers. The seamless integration, extensive supplier network, and verified suppliers make it an invaluable tool. Language barriers and limited regional coverage are minor drawbacks. Highly recommended for enhancing efficiency and connecting with reliable suppliers.
bought some phaewo scooters on global sources from doree supplies. doree supplies are a fraudulent company. global sources know this, give you no help and continue to let them scam people on their site.
Terrible portal where they dont filter or second check their suppliers. I would suggest to deal elsewhere. Their customer service is not reponsive as well.

“Global Sources: Beware of Scammers and Shell Companies”

### Review for Global Sources: Beware of Scammers and Shell Companies I want to share my extremely negative experience with the trading platform "Global Sources." Unfortunately, I found that this platform is a haven for scammers and shell companies. "Global Sources" appears to actively support and cooperate with these criminal elements. Shell companies operating on this platform are even awarded the "advanced" badge by "Global Sources" and presented as trustworthy businesses. This gives a false sense of security and easily misleads unsuspecting buyers. Complaints and evidence of fraudulent activities are ignored by "Global Sources," allowing these shell companies to continue finding victims and committing fraud. My personal experience with "Global Sources" cost me nearly $10,000. Despite multiple complaints and clear evidence against the fraudulent company, my issue was simply ignored by "Global Sources." I strongly advise against using "Global Sources." Do not trust the "verifications" on this platform. Be cautious and choose a reliable trading platform. Avoid "Global Sources" at all costs! Products used:KS5 20T/h Kaspa Miner Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“The worst WebSite”

What´s the point to have a website where all suppliers are fraud...? I request a quotation in some Chemical product and all these people just ask for "sample" fee... Not less than $200 USD for a sample that they don't even know where to be send... You must be very naive to send money to any of these low level people... Anyways, I'm sure this is the way they make their living... Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Scammers beware”

I lost a good amount of money to a scammer (MyCanna Inc) trying to order skincare products and it is how people claim that Global Source is 100% hand in hand with these scammers. Let alone expecting any refund but they won't even remove the account after your complaint and proof. Tip for consumers:Scammer Website!! Be careful

“Having recently participated in a trade show organized by Global Sources”

Having recently participated in a trade show organized by Global Sources, I can confidently say that it is the ultimate B2B platform in the market. The event provided an incredible opportunity for me to connect with prominent buyers in the industry. What sets Global Sources apart from its competitors, including Alibaba, is the caliber of buyers it attracts. I was pleasantly surprised by the presence of larger buyers who showed genuine interest in my products. The platform's user-friendly interface and extensive network of buyers made it effortless for me to establish valuable connections. Without a doubt, Global Sources has proven to be an indispensable resource for businesses seeking impactful B2B interactions and access to bigger buyers.

“This company is a scam”

I already suspected they were a scam, but then they told me that I would only have to pay shipping and customs in advance then pay the remainder when the item was delivered. But the same day I get a message that my item is held up in Romania and now I have to pay almost the full price in order to get the item released! Just a few hours after making the deal with me,, I asked them to refund my 7000 rupees I had given as down-payment and they refused. Very bad business. Do not use this company. Tip for consumers:I never received my product

“DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE”

I would not recommend this place at all. When u use them to send inquiries for a product, it doesn't just go to that vendor. They hv it set up to where other places see it also. So when u get ripped off they dont hv to cover it bcuz they will tell u everytime that the vendor is not apart of their network. I'm telling u rite now none of them r apart of their network. Its all a scam. Also what u see as a product minimum is also a lie. Bcuz every vendor want u to buy a whole shipping container when the post says one box etc. Customer service won't help u at all. Its all about tricking u out of ur money. I checked one star only bcuz it made me. Products used:Never received my product and they won't refund my $130. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“I recently had an outstanding experience with Global Sources”

I recently had an outstanding experience with Global Sources, and I can confidently say that it is the best B2B platform available. Unlike other platforms like Alibaba, Global Sources attracts a higher caliber of buyers, which significantly benefited my business. During a trade show organized by Global Sources, I had the opportunity to connect with a big buyer who showed genuine interest in my products. What impressed me even more was the seamless transition from online to offline through their O2O (online to offline) service. This allowed me to easily convert the initial online contact into a successful offline order. Global Sources' dedication to facilitating efficient and fruitful business interactions has truly set them apart. I highly recommend Global Sources to any business looking for a reliable B2B platform that connects them with bigger buyers and offers excellent O2O services. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“No customer protection and too many Fraudster”

They have no policy in place to protect customers. I still how scammers get verified accounts. Suppliers will contact you with intentions to defraud but the platform does nothing about if. Service Value Shipping

“Worst Website for China suppliers”

I believe the suppliers are regular people contacting suppliers to send samples to seem legit. When they get the large sum of money then you dont hear from them. After paying 30% of the money, they keep coming up with excuses to get more money. These companies are fraudulent and global sources website should really investigate these companies or maybe even be investigated themselves. These are not verified suppliers. They actually use company names then cut and paste their logos. I am starting to wonder if global sources is part of the scam. These sales people keep changing their names, websites, emails, etc. I would not deal with them. I've been trying to find a decent supplier on this site for 3 years and have done nothing but lost money. Oh, and even though they change names, they use the same name for all sales people and at different company, Lily Lin, Claire, Lily, Heidi, Peter, Rita, and Sales. These people do not work for theses actual companies, they are scammers

“Scammers”

This is a very bad company to buy anything. One of the sellers scammed me and did not send the product, I wrote to the support service but they did nothing. Until now, this seller sells goods. Saller namder ************** Company name. Bosalson Medicos Name. Yusuf Aro

“Chinese brothers and sisters have to do better”

Dear China suppliers please do better as business people you ripping the people off here in America and other countries the benefit your pockets. How would you like if Americans scam you out of your hard-earned money. As business people we're just trying to make money and if you're honest with us you will be rich because we will keep you blessed financially as we become blessed financially so please my beautiful Chinese people do better don't rip people off God is watching that and he's not happy

“*****SCAM ALERT***** Zero Stars”

A bunch of scammers who will steal your money and you'll never see any products! Don't be fooled by any good reviews, they're all scam reviews! Look at the bad reviews and you'll know for sure this is a SCAM company. I've reported them to the Canadian authorities!

“Suppliers be aware (and from what I see customers too)”

Our Indonesian company is signed up as a supplier to this site. In 4 or 5 years we have yet to receive one genuine enquiry. Worse, since the commence of the COVID-19 pandemic we only receive fake enquiries from most likely unverified buyers accounts. Reading on top reviews from customers that where trying to use this site for genuine enquiries it seems that many companies advertising there are just the same scam. I guess I will have to see how to cancel our company account with Global Sources i. O. to not damage our own company image.

“Disaster and Horrible experience”

Global sources is totally fraudulent company publishing lies about fraudulent companies as legitimate. I have lost thousands of Dollars trusting Global sources review of vendors/suppliers. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE if you do not waist time and lose money. It is nightmare dealing with suppliers and vendors on Global Sources Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Beware of scams on Global Sources!”

A few months ago, I purchased graphics cards from a seller on Global Sources. Unfortunately, I became a victim of a scam and lost $570. The seller's company was hacked due to their poor security measures, and the scammer was able to infiltrate their website and sell GPUs to unsuspecting customers on Global Sources. I immediately reached out to Global Sources and requested their assistance in resolving the issue. Initially, I was disappointed by their response as they only shut down the seller's account without providing any further support. I felt that they could have done more to ensure that I received compensation from the seller before taking action. Update: I want to update my review as Global Sources eventually solved the issue. I received my lost funds and am grateful for their efforts in resolving the matter. Although I was disappointed by the initial response, I must acknowledge that Global Sources provided the necessary support to resolve the issue. I would recommend the platform to others, but would also advise caution when dealing with sellers. Tip for consumers:Beware of scams on Global Sources! Products used:I got scammed and did not receive any products or a refund. I tried very hard and spent many hours trying to get my money back, but Global Sources did not help me. Update: I received my money at last. Service Value

“Got scammed here. Be cautious”

Careful checking who you are talking to. Scammers are around here. They offer products which they dont really have then keep asking you for custom charges.

“Purchasing over Global Source platform”

Many terrible Chinese companies are selling over Global Source platform like: Shenzhen TechGroup LIMITED, Shenzhen Muweite Technology Co.,Ltd, YICHUN XINRUI ELECTRIC VEHICLE LTD, Dongguan Bufengzhe Electric Bike Factory and so on. The problems are: 1. Low quality 2. Guarantee without real guarantee. 3. For the replacement parts during the guarantee period you have to pay shipping and sometimes the parts also. 4. Goods are very often not according to the specifications. 5. Many times no answer to your questions especially if something goes wrong. The bottom line is that customers always buy a cat in a bag. Recommendations: DO NOT BUY DIRECTLY FROM THE CHINESE COMPANIES, SUPPLIERS OR PLATFORMS! MAXIMUM IS TO BUY SOMETHING UNDER EBAY OR SIMILAR BUYER PROTECTIONS!

“FRAUD AND SCAMMERS”

I was scammed on their platform. THEY DID NOTHING! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAMMER. He only takes bank transfers and stole over $1150 from us. “Beware of purchasing products from the con-men who lurk here”

I recently placed an order for 130 sheets of stainless steel (304 grade) and was provided assurances the order could be correctly met in the time frame available. Deposit was sent, and I received mill certs, photos, weight estimates... all looked in line. However, when the materials finally arrived, I discovered that the supplier (listed below under several different names) had instead shipped me carbon steel in a very thin gauge. These materials are entirely useless and have no resale value without accompanying mill certs. Note to all... Avoid the below listed fraudulent suppliers listed on Global Sources. Verified? They won't even restrict these businesses from further collaboration on their site: Wuxi Hongxinbo Stainless Steel Co.Ltd Foshan Metal Products Co.Ltd '(Foshan Hangzhijie Metal Products Co.Ltd)

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

We’re more than willing to update your review based on the evidence you provide—the more proof, the higher your trust score. Please note, however, that we cannot verify non-operational websites or those redirected to other URLs. Additionally, we do not verify websites involved in high-risk financial services, gambling, adult content, or illegal activities.
