Is ghdhair.com Legit?

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They do not provide next day delivery despite this being stated on their website!!! Also my order has been lost by Evri, so now I'm £100+ out of money, being refused a new order or a refund until it is resolved between GHD and Evri! Poor customer service, especially since they refuse to offer next day delivery on replacement orders so despite placing an order over a week before an event I'm not going to even be able to afford to buy an alternative on time. The only positive is that the customer service representatives were kind and did listen.

I brought a pair of cordless GHD’s 18 months ago as a gift to myself after retiring from the NHS after 42 years. My intention was to use them on all the great holidays I had planned, which I did until a week ago when I returned from Japan and they were confiscated. I contact GHD because I had previously checked on any travel restrictions. GHD said that it was on there website about an issue with Japan, after much searching I found this. I have asked them for this to be more prominent, this won’t help me and neither will GHD, needless to say I won’t be purchasing a replacement.

Worst customer service ever. I ordered and paid for a GHD. It never arrived. The tracking number held no information. I contacted customer care they advised they would send a replacement, no replacement came. I am trying to get a refund now. Never buy from this company to me it feels like they robbed me.

I was so pleased with this product - the cordless rechargeable hair straightener. It came in a very smart white leather zip case and heated up very quickly. I bought this in March 2022. About two months ago I started having problems. It would lose its charge very quickly. I contacted Ghd and asked if I could purchase another charger but apparently they do not sell them separately. So a beautiful product too short a lifespan. I won’t buy another from them

My ghd straighteners had stopped working. As I had owned them for a few years I decided to purchase a new pair & opted to buy direct from the ghd website. Big mistake. The order got lost with Evri. I contacted ghd via email & advised them. No response to email after 2 days so tried chat but it is chatbot & refers you to email or WhatsApp. Sent WhatsApp message & received reply advising would send new pair. I asked for confirmation of dispatch. None received. Received reply from email stating matter sorted but I replied stating still no confirmation of despatch. Eventually received straighteners 2 weeks after ordering. Very poor customer service. Wish I’d changed to Cloud 9 instead of staying faithful to ghd. Won’t be buying anymore ghd products.

I ordered the duet along with a bag and brush, they shipped with Evri and they only delivered the bag!! I have followed everything GHD have asked including providing CCTV footage of the delivery, me opening the box as i knew it was too light to containt the duet. The box delivered didn't even have an address label on it! But now 1 week later I am still without any resolution!!!! £300 order and all I got was a bag!!!Customer service is slow and not helpful at all. I honestly thought GHD would be better than this!!!

Fantastic customer service! Straighteners started beeping and the on/off button kept flashing red. I contacted customer service, via WhatsApp, and received a response within minutes. After providing them with a code from my straighteners they confirmed they were still under warranty.They sent me a free postage label and Royal Mail collected them from my house. I received a text message the next working day confirming they’d received them. I then received another a few hours later advising that they were faulty and a new set would be sent out. I received brand new pair 2 days later. Remarkable customer service and extremely quick!

I ordered my item over 2 weeks ago and still not received my order, which was promised next day delivery. Customer service is shocking, no telephone number to ring, on email and what app available but takes days for a response, so to have a conversation it takes a week. I'm so disappointed for a big company. Still trying to get a refund.

Absolute liars!!! I ordered before 8pm and was guaranteed delivery next day. The items were not delivered and completely ruined a birthday bundle I’d planned. Will never purchase from them again. Similar products for a slightly higher price but would rather pay more & have the customer satisfaction

I am writing here as my original review at ghd webpage wasn't accepted. First of all, I am happy with all ghd products. I think they are amazing. My issue is about the purchasing experience. In a nutshell, my order was shown 'delivered with a signature' which wasn't. Stay away from Fastway Couriers! I tried to reach out to both Fastway and ghd. It is soo difficult to get in touch. Ghd got back after 3 days. It has been 2 weeks. No word from Fastway. I filled a claim form. Received my money back. 5 days later the product arrives! Ghd wants me to bring it to the parcel connect to return. It is a big box and I don't understand why they cannot send a courier to pick it up. It is not my fault that they work with a bad/ unreliable courier company.

Great customer service! Had a faulty hairdryer, got in touch via Instagram, and they sorted a free returns label to send it to them. Once received, they sent an email confirmation and advised of next steps. A couple of days later, I received a text with the delivery of the replacement hairdryer. Had Straighteners and hairdryers that have lasted years. Products are well built, and 100% worth the money!

I ordered ghd max about a week ago from their international site and i got to say as soon as i got it i tried it and its the very first time that my hair are frizz free and also very straight. I am a wavy to curly girl so it's kind of hard for my hair to stay straight that long. It's amazing really

Contacted customer service as my straighteners had stopped working with a known fault, they said the warranty ran out a few months earlier and refused to do anything to help. Apparently the company expect you to buy new ones every 2 years. The customer service advisors couldn't give a straight answer to anything, kept providing incorrect information and eventually after asking to be passed to the complaints department numerous times they stated they had already followed their complaints process and they had closed my case.

Absolutely brilliant Customer Service. This is the 2nd time I have needed to contact GHD about my straighteners and on both occasions they have been absolutely amazing. I received an email yesterday to tell me they had received my faulty appliance and would assess the fault. My replacements arrived today before 8am - beyond pleased - I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who asks - you definitely get what you pay for. Thank you

My ghd is still going strong at 15 years old. I'd love to buy a new one but just need this to stop working first !!

I purchased 2 paddle brushes I had them as back up brushes within a few weeks of using the brissles falling out absolutely everywhere and splitting all down the side then eventually the entire brush falling apart, contacted customer services and no sympathy, I do not recommend ghd to anyone the worst brush I’ve ever purchased in my life. My Kmart brush lasted me over 9 years and no fall out

Just received my new GHD Chronos today from GHD but I expected to have received a bag with them like other suppliers provide. Not tried them yet as I’m waiting to hear back from Customer Services. They are cheaper in other places with a free bag -waiting a few days and no-one had come back to me

My husband bought me these a few years ago as a spare as I have the old type ghd straightners for years so I thought they would probably die soon. Today I tried the new ( 2 years in drawer) ones and I am really disappointed 😞 I have long thick hair and these did not heat up like my old ones do, hair time took 4 times longer, too late now as been in drawer but definitely on my experience stick to your old ones

Believe the 2.5 stars and all the reviews about the people who bought GHD’s in the noughties and replaced them since 2020 and they were/are not the same. Loved my first pair purchased 2007. My new set catch my hair, pull it out, do not glide but stick and pull my hair. And worse, customer service is really poor and had the audacity to charge me to return them even though they snagged at my hair and hurt me. If you must buy a pair of GHD’s, do not buy them direct and buy them from a department store because then at least you’ll have better customer service.
