Is geosite.mobi Legit?

Was desperate to trak my friend's lost phone. Paid 2 dirhams or something, it track anything but rather 'sent' something to his phone and said "pending". Yesterday i got 150 AED taken from my account from Geosite

Deceptive and unreliable. they let you give permission for 0.50 euro cents and then you are stuck with a subscription. This was not posted anywhere before I gave permission for 1 x 0.50 cents.

I liked the fast communication with the Geosite team as well as their policy, which is very clear.

Six months ago, I downloaded the trial version of an app in an attempt to locate my lost phone. The sales page clearly stated that I could locate my phone anywhere.However, I discovered that the app is not suitable for my situation. I am the only person who can log into the lost phone, and the app requires the device to authorize location sharing after logging in.Additionally, I did not log into my account during the first 30 minutes while trying to use the app. I never intended to subscribe to a service that was of no use to me, yet I was surprised to find that ongoing monthly charges were applied to my account.Despite my request for a refund for almost USD200 fee charged (which is even more costly than my lost phone), I received a lengthy automated email outlining the terms and conditions, but no resolution or refund was offered. I find this treatment completely unethical, as they are charging me without providing the services they claimed.I do not recommend their services to anyone considering trying them.

It's a scam. The portal advertised to locate any phone but does not say that the targeted phone number shall respond to a message for being located. It means that if you wish to find your lost mobile, no chance to do it with this system. The portal tricks the prospective client with a misleading message.

Fraud, please do not login, I have logged in to locate my phone and charges is showing 2.99aed which I paid while login, it didn't shows the location, it’s shows pending only but automatically monthly subscriptions aed 151 is deducted from the account. It’s comport scam. And there no any way that you can contact them. No customer care, no contact detail. It’s a scam.

Scammers and thieves! They don’t do anything, just showing pending. First they charge 2.99 dirhams plus 1.05% international txn fees and then they have stolen from my card 151 dirhams plus fees. Be careful to deal with them.

Lost a phone on a night out. Hoax company charge 50c in the beginning to ping a phone and then 10mins later €40 bloody euro is taken from your account as a "subscription" then all the details they want for you to unsubscribe is ridiculous. An f***ing joke of a company avoid at all costs

Scam website. I wish I looked at these reviews first. They take out 9c to look for your phone and then take out more money overnight. I locked my card after the first transaction realising it was a scam. Doesn't tell you where the phone is- just says pending. Only purpose of this site is to fleece you. They're a sponsored link on Google.Update 8/11/24. They have again taken $65 out of my account despite cancelling my card. They put a token on your card to follow you to the new card once you cancelled a card They have debited. Call your banks fraud department and ask them to remove the token.

Absolute dogsh1t Geosite scammed 39.99Euro for nothing. i sent my message to the Geosite support, they told me that we can give 50% amount back what i got charged for within 5-10days. 2 months went by and now they are ignoring me. Never replies. STAY AWAY.

It's a scam. They didn't locate my phone, but used the credit card to push through multiple fraudulent charges for much higher amounts than the original fee.

This is a total BS company. Yesterday i paid for them to locate the phone it kept on saying pending. and this morning they deduct money from my account again. I want my refund

This is a scam. The company is charging me a monthly subscription that I was not aware I signed up for. They have not provided any service or feedback, literally did nothing to help with my case.

I lost my phone in Dubai. Tried using this scam app system to locate my phone. It charged me and did absolutely nothing. So I figured, okay. I tried without success. Now the same app has charged my credit card twice for about $100.00 CAD. Complete scam. contact your credit card company and flag them.

This is a legal scam , all the information arrived when you try to have your money back , and you have to pay allmost 300 dkk the next day when you don't receive the information for what you pay.

Hello to all. I help my mother find her missing phone. It says that I only need to pay 50 cents, but I can't find anything on the phone. This company really sucks. I also didn't know about €39.99. It is not clear. Last month we took 39.99€ from my account twice. This company doesn't mind giving me money. this company is a scam. So you will steal my money. Really unpleasant. Really not worth it. No 5 stars. Bad company and no help.

Absolute scam, would give them 0 stars if I could. My boyfriends phone was stolen so as a last resort we tried this, did nothing and woke up the next day with a £25 charge. Do not use.
