Is geodomex.co.uk Legit?

Shocking service for international delivery.GeodomeX delivery policy states EU delivery takes 2-3 days and they will pay import taxes. When product arrived in Spain UPS courier were asking for €400 in import taxes. GeodomeX continue to refuse to pay these import taxes and I am still without the product or a refund 1 month on from placing the order (in breach of GeoDomex own terms and conditions). This was meant to be a Christmas gift and has ruined everything.I would not recommend at all for international deliveries as GeodomeX appear to be in-equipped to do the paperwork.

Fantastic once built, leave a full day to do itWith 2 people, maybe a bit more if you are anchoring into concrete, we live in a windy coastal part of east Scotland so ensured it was anchored well but now it is up I think it should hold out the storms. Heats up well on a cold day with a Dyson fan heater.

Got my Geodomex, everything looks spot on, just waiting to build it when i have some free time. Gone through the instructions which look pretty straight forward. Cant wait to up it up and running in time for the good weather!

Amazing piece of kit! Genuinely fantastic, we put some rubber matting down and its just like having an extra room, only issue we had was the door, which was a bit loose. The instructions show you how to fix that though which was amazing! Couldn't be happier!

Customer Care always available to answer and questions and offer support - great service.Very attentive team.We love the dome - it did take a few hours over a couple of days to build. The weather turned and we got soaked. Once built we had high scottish winds and I thought the dome will blow away as gale force - but it remained put.The dome was secured onto a new wooden decking fitted in the garden. We used ikea floor decking tiles for inside dome- cutting the tiles to fit the sphere shape !We have made it into a projector room to watch movies and TV. It's great to have a coffee and relax in cold Scottish weather but be secure inside and have the heater on ! Would highly recommend

The speed of response from GeoDomeX was admirable both to questions and delivery. Not had the opportunity to build my purchase yet

I’m in love with my new dome! It’s sturdy and should withstand the high winds that come off the sea near us. It looks spectacular and has been much admired. It’s a great garden feature and escape and I’ve been practically living in it since it was assembled. NB Unfortunately the builder made a mistake with positioning the door strips, which now need mending or replacing. Customer service has been excellent, very helpful and informative.

It's a lovely thing and we were delighted with it. "Were" being the operative word. It didn't survive Storm Darragh and is now in a heap with multiple broken bits :-(

Built it ourselves in August (we are aged aged 75 and 80). The roof was the hardest part as we had to work over our heads in hot weather, but now it is finished we love it. It makes a really spacious greenhouse and we can't wait to fill it with plants.

Love this dome!!! Challenging but fun to assemble and super sturdy. Looks amazing on our deck!

Poor quality and terrible service avoid.Arrived damaged in box on arrival. They ordered to replace these parts because they're so cheap it's easy for them to do.Was not safe in winds they claim it is safe. Had to take down rapidly to avoid any further damage and safety concerns.Offered more free parts to fix but I'm not comfortable with the safety of this in wind and it looks cheap too.Offered partial refund if you agree to some sneaky terms. Looks like the geodomex is worth £20 and £980 goes towards legal fees.Also it's illegal to have a permanent sale on to drive interest and impulse buying. Shady behaviour.Neighbours are using hypedome far better quality particularly if you want to use in winter or a slight wind.Edit based on the incorrect information Geodomex shared in the response. NO replacement parts have been sent.Do not trust this company.

Ever so pleased with it. We live in mid Wales where it is sometimes sunny! But too cold to sit outside for breakfast on a sunny spring morning, or afternoon tea. We got our local builder to do a decking platform for us, which was more expensive than the dome, the land was on a slope, and then putting it up was relatively easy.

No sooner ordered than received. We haven’t yet had time to assemble it but it’s very well packaged, with protection around each separate piece of the unit. There is also a clear parts list, which we will check against the parts today, & instructions, so we’re very anticipating an easy assembly, & lots of enjoyable time spent outdoors in our new Geodome.

Delivered earlier than expected which wasn't a problem. Having unpacked it all we found the numbering was a bit difficult to find, so we remarked on the outside with a pen then we could stack the panels in order. We also found we needed a few pairs of hands to help us. Having kept reading the manual when we got started assembling the dome it all went well and quick. It's looks lovely so pleased with it. 😃 😊

Our dome arrived this week and we spent about 6 hours putting it up yesterday. Despite the hard work, we enjoyed the experience of building the dome. It was quite windy yesterday but you wouldn’t know it when you are sat inside. It looks fantastic in our garden and first impressions are very good.Looking forward to many hours relaxing and looking at the stars 🌟

Arrived when expected. Clear assembly instructions. Done is sturdy when finished. We live in a windy open area so had to wait for right weather conditions and finish the same day and have been enjoying it ever since.

Excellent service, lots of help and advise. I've not put the GeodomeX up yet as it's going in my new house garden, so waiting on garden landscaping. Am using GeodomeX for installation as my hubby isn't much of a diyer lol am super excited and can't wait to be sitting sipping a gin or two in my GeodomeX soon. GeodomeX team thanks for answering my zillion questions. Will post pics once in situ :)

The dome looks amazing. It has taken quite a long time to build but was worth the efffort! It’s a beautiful space to relax and enjoy the garden during the cold winter months. Very happy customer!

The Geodome took a little longer than anticipated to put together but if you follow the instructions its easy and straightforward. Very sturdy when pegged down. Looks fab on the decking, ideal cover for our hot tub. Would highly recommend. Well packaged, easy to follow instructions and very sturdy when pegged down.
