Is geckowear.co.uk Legit?

I ordered the knee high socks for a race I was participating in. Part of the course goes through a stream, just like on the Facebook advert, so I thought these would do the job. When the socks arrived they were the wrong colour to what I had ordered, so did not match club colours. The socks were also not waterproof; after running through the stream my feet were wet and felt like bricks running the last part of the course. If you’re into trail running which entails a brief run through water, I would not recommend.

Bought these for mountain biking. If top of the socks are a snug fit and they don't go under water and you also wear waterproof trousers then they stand a good chance of keeping your feet dry and if its cold, warmer than wet socks. It's up to your axles here at the mo and I had warm dry feet after a good two hour ride - recommended

Bargain after Xmas, fast delivery. Outstanding performance. Worn twice on very very wet mountain bike rides. Feet bone dry . Would definitely recommend.

I ordered these at short notice for a mountain bike ride in December. They arrived in time and kept my feet warm and dry in the wettest conditions. The other riders wish they had bought Geckowear socks. Mine are now clean and dry and ready for the next adventure. An ideal Christmas gift for anyone that enjoys being out in the elements.

Quick turnaround and decent product.I bought 2 pairs of waterproof socks as they were on offer - 2 pairs for the price of 1 pair, so I thought I'd try them out. I have yet to find out if they are waterproof, but they were nicely packaged and feel very similar to many other well known brand waterproof sock - but thinner (which I like).

Ordering and delivery were very good. The light weight waterproof socks I ordered barely fit my size 8 feet. They were advertised as a fitting 9-11.They are very snug on my feet and ankles and uncomfortable. Plus if the packet has been opened then the website states no return. How are you supposed to check the sizing from a product in a completely sealed packet?

Brilliant product. Bought other more expensive brands in the past and these outshine the lot. I run a lot of Ultra distance races in harsh conditions and these are perfect. They grip the mid foot and ankle I just the right places and fit well with a thin liner toe sock to create a blister free warm, dry and breathable environment. And they are actually waterproof unlike experience with some so called big brands that charge twice the price for something that isn’t fit for purpose. Top notch and recommend them to anyone.

I made the order but due to a technical problem it looked like the order didn't go through so I placed the order again. When I realised Id bow double ordered I contacted Geckowear, they responded really quick and cancelled one of the orders as I requested and refunded it, they were very helpful, polite and quick to respond.Not long after this they emailed me to apologise for the previous technical problem and to see if I was happy with the order I recieved. Great customer service.I ordered the socks to wear for working as a post woman, they're comfy, waterproof and keep your feet at a perfect temperature. They've even stopped my shoes rubbing. 100% would recommend.

I wouldn’t leave the house for an adventure without these socks, they are breathable and reduce the chances of you getting them nasty blisters from your hiking boots, they say what they do on the tin, no more wet feet! I have even used these to store small electricals in for extra protection against dust and water when wild camping. They are quick drying so this always helps with multi-day hikes and not having to carry multiple pairs of socks as back up.

Great socks, waterproof as described, nice design and good fit. Despatched and received rapidly. Great they were on sale. Only downside was the excessive plastic packaging, felt unnecessary and wasteful

Product arrived very quickly and is really good. Comfy to wear, waterproof and breathable - no clammy or wet feet despite my boots being soaked. Outside of sock was wet (as expected) but dried overnight no problem and were ready for day 2. Very impressed. Will buy some more pairs. Recommended.

Bought the knee-length ones in November - use them for running ultramarathons / trail races in muddy, boggy winter conditions (doing the Spine Race in January), including freezing conditions in the Cheviots in December. Have used Dexshell, 360Dry, Otter and SealSkinz in the past, but I would rate Geckowear as among the best (alongside Dexshell). Very waterproof / coldproof, and the wool is a bit softer than those of other socks, which make them more comfortable to wear and easier to get on and off when they're wet. Highly recommend them!

Really fast delivery, the ankle length waterproof socks I bought are great. Really nice quality material and fit. I wore them at a trail based Parkrun this weekend in -3° and they kept my feet dry and nice and warm, very impressed.

I've worn these a fair few times now, they've even been taken for a run by my girlfriend, best mate and his kids. They've all been impressed that they actually ARE waterproof. I'm yet to take them for a mega long hike, so it remains to be seen how warm your feet get but they're comfortable enough on shorter walks and keep me dry when snapping pics in water. Very Impressed!

These waterproof socks are truly the best I've worn ever. I use them for religious reasons and wear them all day at work. Absolutely, light weight and no difference can be noticed in comparison to normal socks.

Wore these on a muddy hike to Mam Tor, got home, and had to hose my boots down whilst wearing the all-action waterproof socks not a single drop of water got to my feet, bone dry when I took them off. they fit snug and still had an element of breathability
