Is gardeningexpress.co.uk Legit?

This is my second purchase from Gardening Express, my first being six patio fruit trees bought in January which are growing beautifully. This purchase for Laurel hedging arrived quickly and well packed, Laurels all really healthy and instantly transformed area they were bought for. I have no hesitation in recommending them in terms of lovely healthy plants, great packaging and delivery

The most AMAZING plants and they were delivered in great time. Great value for money too. Only one damaged plant which arrived with one branch detached, but I very much doubt it would have a detrimental effect as the plant is very large. On the whole though, packaging and delivery were spot on.The site could benefit from photos to indicate the size of plants you'd receive as pot size doesn't seem accurate. We will certainly be making more orders from Gardening Expess as we have a lot of garden to plant and their more mature plants are top quality and great value

My plants arrived in perfect condition today. After reading rubbish reviews (after ordering...) I was worried I'd wasted my money. My concern was further amplified by the lack of order progress info. It was stuck on 'pending tracking' for days and days. All of a sudden, just as I was going to make a query, I had a dispatch email. Huge relief! I took off one star because of the 2 weeks of silence. I suppose we're spoilt by big online retailers with detailed order status info. Ordered on the 9th and delivered on the 24th.Overall, great selection that arrived in tip top condition!

My plants were quite late arriving and I was worried about lack of water. But they were absolutely fine. Am so pleased with their quality, particularly the rhododendron. Very good healthy plants and I’m really pleased. Thoroughly recommend.

Purchased 5 bare root trees via Wowcher.Planted following weekend after delivery.5 weeks later only 2 were showing any growth.Advised by Gardening Express I only had 2 weeks to complain so we're unable to assist.Not the fairest policy when you are waiting for the sapling to show signs of life.Beware when purchasing bare root plants/trees

I was a bit worried as a lot of your reviews are not at all good. However I didn’t need to worry. The plants are really nice, a bit better than I had expected, they were delivered on time although I would have liked them quicker. The communication regarding delivery though was very goodSo I have no complaints and have given you 5 stars.

Plants all arrived promptly after ordering. Well packaged and delivery information was efficient.Only knocked a star off because they wanted instant feedback reviews?How were the plants?.I don't know..they are still in the box..

Would give no stars if possible. Seems to me that 5star reviews are fake as most of verified reviews are one or at best two stars. Still waiting for my delivery from 16th June, no contact re:dispatch at all. No way to contact these people, just sends you to 'Knowledge HUB' which doesnt help at all. Furthermore l have no confidence in either receiving my goods or if l do, that they'll be in good condition. AVOID.

Ordered a pack of 12 Winter hardy evergreen lavender plants. Arrived on time in a prepacked plastic closing tray with each individual plant in it's own little container. Also supplied with an adhesive strip naming each variety of plant. Lovely healthy specimens and re-potted in 11cm pots to grow on before planting out. Real bargain and such a variety of colours.

Exactly as stated and expected. Very reasonably priced, roots wrapped as one would expect and delivered well within the time stated. Looking forward to seeing them grow and bloom

6 mixed columnar fruit trees - arrived on time well packaged and in very good condition. They were also bigger than I expected which was a bonus. Also ordered 2 pots with saucers, which are sturdy and a very good design where you have 2 choices so they can drain, or be lower down on the saucer to be watered from the bottom of the pot

Overall happy with my order, delivery took a bit longer than I would have liked but roses were packaged well. My only criticism is that maybe a little guidance and instruction in the box would be helpful.

I ordered a lucky dip magnolia tree - the details stated it would be between 4-5 feet high What arrived looks like a dead twig with a few damp roots.So very disappointed it wasn’t expensive but I certainly expected better than I received.

Good prices, easy to use, no issues! Much better than YouGarden. What I like is that you get proper sized plants, unlike a lot of sites which show you plants in large pots, and then send you much smaller specimens (detailed in the small print only)

I ordered pillar fruit trees a few of which were dead. When I asked for a replacement or refund, they refused saying that the package did not include a guarantee.After explaining that The Consumer Rights Act decides how issues with faulty goods are dealt with they proceeded to ignore me.Please be careful as my own experience is that they use their online status and the distance from their customers to provide poor customer service and shoddy products. They ignore the law and so it won’t protect you. On expensive orders, this could be costly.Buyer beware!!

Posted on here about plants arriving in cracked pots & not in top condition. Gardening Express responded to me asking for proof the plants were from them. Then told me it was all nothing to worry about and some damage in transit was to be expected. Just adding insult to injury.

The clematis ordered were taller than expected and arrived in good condition ,one or two leaves had dropped off one plant ,but it will be fine .

First time shopping with these and very happy with order the plants were well wrapped inside box which was good as box had been knocked about quite a bit so expected them to be damaged but all ok. Would shop again..

I cannot recommend this firm enough I've bought lots of plants from them a d alway great quality well packed can't wait for next order to arrive
