Is gamivo.com Legit?

Like the service, have had zero issues with activating games. Fast and reliable but....somehow that sneaky subscription make's it way into a purchase no matter how hard you make sure it doesn't. It's easily cancellable though so it is what it is.

Games on discount, who doesn't like it?Well, I do when you specifically "turn off" their "SMART Subscription" and you get surprised with a monthly charge -- " SMART status: Deactivated " yet today they tried to withdraw €4.80 for it while it's "Deactivated".For anyone reading this review - use a virtual card, not your original one so you can avoid such headaches, because their support is non-existant and the "chat bot" they have is pretty much useless.----After their reply here I still stand behind my review, although I'll change it to 3/5 due to the great game offers they have as well as the instant key delivery. 1/5 is indeed unfair and I agree.Once the "GAMIVO Smart" subscription thing is resolved and they listen to customer feedback where it should not be "shoved" upon our throats - the review will be changed to 5/5 for sure.I cannot have "multiple accounts" using the same email address.

Over all a good store and good prices, but really tries hard to get you to buy smart even adding it in the checkout if you select PayPal as payment, even if you explicitly picked non-smart prices so you have to remove it again at checkout, otherwise I had a good experience and the support is also fast and professional. I'd change the review to 5 stars if I don't have to remove smart every time on checkout.... if I'd want smart, I'd subscribe, so don't try to force it down my throat.

The company responds very quickly to the user’s needs and questions. They provide great offers and are efficient in delivering the product within a reasonable time frame.

I’ve made 4-5 separate purchases over the past few months. Though delivery isn’t “instant” it’s still decently quick. With payments stating you’ll get “instant delivery” you’ll wait at most 5 minutes or less. Alright for me.

Good but, you always try to sneakily pass the smart subscription. You have to opt-out in multiple screens. Especially it automatically goes back to opt-in when you opted-out in the previous one. It's bad, close to scam practice.

It's a decent service, but their subscription is kinda useless. It gives almost no benefits, except you can have a tiny discount, to cover the cost of the service fee (which is not applied if you pay from your balance, which can't be topped up). If you check this closely, adding the game in incognito window and with the subscription, you can see that difference is less than a dollar, it's nothing. Daily discounts are the same every day, they include the products I don't need, same for weekly deals. The other 'profit' it's that you can see the REAL price of the game, without false advertising.

This isn't the first time I bought a game here.prices are good, delivery is within 10 minutes, instructions, if you need them are clear.Only point of improvement would be a form of false advertising.the final price is always higher due to tax or fees, but this isn't displayed until checkout.Price you pay at the end should be displayed up front, before actually placing it in the cart, even if it's in small print.

Good shop, big offers of products, but price on product is not final. So if you buy something for example about 3 dollars so you can on checkout pay 4-6 dollars in final, because of service fee, tax, etc.

What a garbage company. Sneakily signs you up for their $3 service, then requests you confirm in 24 hours (c'mon now) to which they'll no doubt say, "WeLl YoU sElEcTeD iT!!" Amigos, look at how many people say that same thing. Its clearly done in a very shitty way. Also requested account deletion and they didn't. Hmmmmmmm.

Signed me up for some $3 subscription called 'Gamivo SMART' when I did not consent to this. I didn't add on any protection to my order etc, they legit just started billing me monthy.What's worse if you want to cancel they make you wait 24 hours for a cancelation email you have to remember to click on. How is that not a scam?

Been buying games from Gamivo for over 5 years. Haven't had any issues on their end, had an issue with a Microsoft license that wouldn't activate correctly but that was on Microsofts end. The Gamivo support helped get me taken care of on that one as well. Plan to continue buying from them in the future.

I've used this website in the past and the keys have always been one of the lower prices and they have never failed on me. There's always a worry when it comes to keys failing due to the ability to buy protection but it hasn't happened yet so... all is well.

Got sold a duplicate key and customer service was next to useless. Managed to get a refund via Paypal. This is the first and last time I will be using these scammers. After showing them screenshots of my failed activation on Steam. "The Merchant" wanted me to contact Steam direct for the extact Date/Time of said Activation. On the Steam help page, they said talk to the merchant direct. Again Gamivo is next to useless. Scam. Could be a good website for bulk buying games but they dont even realize that their game sellers are legit the lowest tier's in terms of grading. Anyways, I purchased 75 Steam keys with the intention of boosting my "games owned" badge on Steam. However, only 19 out of the 75 keys registered. It would have been more cost-effective to buy the games individually for $0.40 each on the Steam market. Furthermore, I unexpectedly found myself subscribed to a service I did not register for. I assure you that I have a strong memory and can recall a lot of information. I can guarantee that I never saw a checkbox or clicked on any option that said "get this subscription." Let me explain: when you purchase a product and come to the payment page, there is a (mostly) hidden item that is checked by default. This item is a "subscription" service and Gamivo will continue to charge you for it month after month. Also, try getting a refund for this unwanted subscription and you will be flooded with reasons why the "subscription" is super good for you. They will never issue a refund. This platform uses deceptive methods to charge unwanted services to the clients. During the purchase of a game key, they add monthly subscription to what they call "SMART", and they check it by default, then start charging each month a certain amount to you credit card. Be extremely careful with them and avoid them at all costs, they are not to be trusted and are borderline with a fraudulent company.
