VERY UNPROFESSIONAL CASHIER !!!I went to this lady with short dark brown hair and black glasses at the cash register, to return a couple of clothing items. She didn’t even greet me back. When I kindly asked for a receipt or some kind of return sheet, then she responded might I assa super annoyed :“ what do you mean? a receipt for what? You got your money back what more do you want?“ She looked at me like I asked the most stupidest and unreasonable question ever and I felt quite embarrassed bc there were other costumers standing in line. And the tone of her voice was very belittling.Well, at least I got the money back.NEVER GONNA STEP FOOT INTO THIS SHOP AGAIN !!!

Because I have seen a lot of negative reviews here, I think it would be totally unfair if I don't write this, my first Trustpilot, review. I ordered my dream smartwatch from Galeria with an amazing sale price on Monday. I was worried because of all of these negative reviews here. However, I received it on Thursday. Everything was perfect. Thank you Galeria.
Placed order at 23 Dec 2022 for 4 articles.After 5 days was shipped only one article.Than about 2 weeks with none information and finally 11 Jan 2023 was received e-mail, that remaining 3 items are cancelled. Very disappointed with such service.
Tried to return a top I bought 2 days ago, which was initially refused by the cashier as it was from an "external brand" (Phase Eight), even though purchased in store. She told me I am not automatically entitled to a refund - completely oblivious to the EU Consumer Rights Directive, when I put that to her. In the end went to a Phase Eight assistant and was eventually (but not without some pressure to exchange instead of refund) given a refund. This is ridiculous. If you buy in the department store, regardless of the brand, the store should refund without question. I experienced this years ago in Germany and thought customer service had progressed since then. Wrong. The customer is never right here! Will never shop at a German department store again.

Never using Galeria again. Half of my packages were damaged. They package glass in paper obviously it then arrives completely broken. To return they say I have to transport their stuff to DHL/post although it's super heavy and big packages. Worst service ever.
I spent hundreds of EUR on an item, which I discovered was faulty after just a couple of uses. I fully expected to be refunded. However, GALERIA instead blamed me, and did not take an opportunity to inspect the goods. This is disgraceful and illegal. I will not shop there again, and urge others to also avoid it.
Today I made an extremely annoying experience with Galeria Kaufhof in Regensburg (Neupfarrplatz). I hurried to reach the store before 8 p.m. because I wanted to buy a certain speciality from the go asia supermarket located in the basement. At 7:52 p.m. I reached the escalator and met a kind of bouncer, who told me that the escalator gets switched off at 7:50 p.m. and that I am also not allowed to walk down. This is an instruction from "above". Dear people in charge, if you don't want customers to enter after 7:50 p.m., then don't write deceptively that you are open until 8 p.m., it should rather read "no entry after 7:50 p.m.". I this way, however, one feels fooled and that's why you get from me the worst rating with respect to customer friendliness. And, by the way, after experiencing such a mentality, I am no longer surprised that presumably this department store chain has no future.
I placed an order, paid, after 3 days of get an e-mail that the order has been canceled .. I am asking the reason-error of the system reply. They tell me to place a new order and pay again for a watch that is no longer on sale. I hope this company finally goes bankrupt and stops cheating customers! Hello everyone, I hope my review will help others and not trust Galleria store! For Black Friday I found on their site an offer for Creed Aventus parfum and went directly to a store in Bad Homburg to order it as I had also a voucher of 10 eur discount that I couldn't redeem myself. I paid on site the total amount and in few days I received an email that the Lieferung will take longer that usually. I had patience and waited ( during this period I called the service centre few times to ask about the issue but nobody gave me a right answer) almost 3 weeks and yesterday I received a Stornierung email of my order without any kind of explanation!!!! This is outrageous, can not be happening in Germany!! The retailers are posting items on their site laying about the price and misleading the client!! I don't understand where the problem was and I will write further to consumer protection institution because I invested a lot of time in this matter and also I could have bought the parfum back then from another retailer. In the same time I will never, ever buy something from Galleria online!Update in February 2023: I finally managed to get the item and the discount as well. It seems that if one persists in what desires finally he/ she purchases the whised item! It's not normal of course to waist so much time and energy when buying within a big company but I have to admit that the costumer service made its job. Thank you for helping me solve the request 🙂. I visited this store a couple of days ago. It was almost empty, with the exception of some staff. And these members are the problem. Totally un interested, unmotivated, very unfriendly and totally absorbed playing with their phones. I wanted to buy a bag. In that was paper and we asked the sales woman if the paper could be removed. Without looking at us, she demanded to put the paper back in case we would not buy the bag. The cashier where we had to pay, did not greet us not did she looks at us. Halfway the acquisition she left us standing for several minutes because she was talking to another cashier. When we left, she left the bag on the counter for us to pick up and did not say goodbye.So I wrote Galeria an email on their site, and never got an answer. I have heard Galeria has financial problems and I know why. Totally incompetent staff and absent management.My advise? Never visit this store whatever you need. Galeria does not deserve clients like you and us, and this one in Oldenburg must be by far the worst store in Germany. never again!
I have order on 18.6 four clothes on Galeria.de, one of them already been shipped separately, and the left three still didn't, on the website it shows these clothes can be delivered in 2-3working days (namely between 20.6-21.6). And then I received a Email says my order will be delayed. I have contacted the customer service to inquire the estimation time of delivery of my order, they answered: "no, we don't know when they can be shipped, you just need to be patient." Then I contacted them again for cancellation the order, they answered: "no, not possible because of technics problem."This is so frustrating, you don't know when you receive your package and you can't cancel it though they even didn't send it!I then googled and read so much bad reviews about Galeria often let people wait for more than a month for their orders. Come on, if I need wait one month, I could have ordered in other place!
The customer agent was very disrespectful. Just because I don't speak German well, she raised her voice and almost screamed at me on the phone.

They told me that they received packedge back and will sent refund soon. Passed 2 weeks - nothing. Did sent email again. The told me that they did not receive the parcel. I'm like oke, why you sad that you did? They told that will investigade. In some time, again the told me that parcel is in theyre possesion. There will be refund. And again nothing. Opened case with Mastercard. And again they refuse to make refund because parcel is not received by them. And in 2 days after I received last refuse I see and Email. That I will be refunded because items have arraved to them. And again, no money no answer. This company is terriblel!!!
I ordered a bulova wrist watch which was on discount at %50. I have just received it and of course, it is not working. And it seems to have been used since there is no protecting folio attached which gives you the brand new feeling. Obviously somebody else bought this item before and sent it back when he or she realized it was not working. Now I send it back too and definitely no more online buying from galeria. I really do not understand why they do it and pollute the world with unnecessarily transportation. In short, I do not recommend galeria.de !!!
The service is very very bad. I cannot imagine in Germany there is still this kind of service. I ordered online an armband and it never came. Now they asked me to pay, came also with Mahnung. The funny thing is I chose to pickup and pay in person. The second time, it came to pick up and paid. Then cam the Inkasso, asked me to pay again. They called to ask me to come to the shop and show them their bills. What a silly service! They cannot even think logically.
I bought a sport-watch. The price was the lowest I can find (15% lower than the second one, a bit fishy actually) without waiting for months. In the end, I received a well-packed watch in 3 working days. Very satisfied.
Fast delivery, packaging was also good and the product was as described.Prices for this product were reasonable looking forward to purchase again.
