The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between fromjapan.co.jp and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of fromjapan.co.jp. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of fromjapan.co.jp, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. fromjapan.co.jp is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

“0 stars! Scam company! Will rip you off and toss your things!”

Terrible scam company with hidden fees. They also throw away your items after only a month with NO NOTIFICATION rather than charging you for storage like every single other similar company. Do not go to them! They will rip you off and steal your items and there's no accountability. Taking to their customer service is pointless, they talk like brainless robots who don't even read your emails and send copy paste BS replies. Will cost an absolute fortune in hidden fees and make you pay twice telling you they will refund you which they won't, they will just throw out you Things and ignore you. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS! Tip for consumers:The worst customer service Feels like talking to a robot No compassion, no empathy, no intelligence, no logic Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Will destroy your items in shipping and then claim they arent liable”

I have purchased many $1000+ items only to receive them damaged. Its clearly due to poor packaging however they refuse to accept responsibility and having to dispute via Paypal. DONT USE THEM! They looked at this photo and said its possible it was received damaged, their staff arent trained to tell the difference if an item is broken or not. Its literally broken in half! Absolute scum

“Took money without buying an item and dont want to refund”

They failed to buy an item for me but put on hold twice the amount for it. After I made an enquiry with request to release the funds they charged my card twice for the item they never bought. Now they don't want to refund but sending me to my card provider. Thieves! Don't you ever have a deal with them! Tip for consumers:Avoid !!!! Products used:Didn't use anything as they didn't buy the item for me just charged my card twice for it. Service Value Quality

“Worst proxy”

Horrible. Literally fight me every step of the way when I ask for questions or to reweigh my items. Worst yet because of them my items are now being held in customs for God knows how long after spending $400 in shipping.

“Never use this company!”

I recently purchased some product using this service. When I opened the product it became clear that this product had already been opened. I was refused a full refund and so I raised an issue with my credit card company. I received my chargeback and they restricted my account. I did not know I had been restricted at the time, I thought the website was having issues so I continued to purchase the items I had in my basket, and then once the items arrived I paid for the shipping. They are now holding my items and refusing to ship until i close my claim with my credit card company. This is wrong on so many levels. Avoid onemap at all costs. It might be a great site but if anything goes wrong, they do not care and resort to blackmail in order to get you to back down. Tip for consumers:do not use the site. they will blackmail you Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Terrible Website”

Asked to cancel an item after it was not received for 30 days and they asked for a cancellation fee as large as the size of the product...costumer service was rude and ignorant. I will never recommend using fromjapan.co.jp, it is the worst proxy service available. Overpriced to begin with then they scam you... Tip for consumers:AVOID LIKE THE PLAUGE Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Fake Chanel”

I ordered a Chanel belt bag#*******E, it's listed on Mercari (m*******611), from Japan is their partner for oversea customers. I received the item today, it's super fake product, I compared with my own Chanel, everything does not matched! Look at the pictures for authentic card comparison, its just fake. I sent over email to from Japan for refund, and they reply me below: "We are sorry to hear that the item(*******E) received may not be authentic. Unfortunately, our Product Protection plan does not cover compensation for inauthenticity-related issues as we do not have specialized knowledge in all types of items purchased by our customers and this is not able to be checked during our item inspection. In addition it is not possible to contact mercari sellers once the transaction has been concluded." It refused to communicate with Mercari and the seller, they never try to do anything but just push me away. This is irresponsible to customer and no protection at all, they basically did nothing to fight fake product and letting their customer being ripped off, not even trying to report and communicate with seller? I suspect maybe they taking profit from it as well? What's the point to use it, there are much better website like Buyee or Rakuten, stay away from them, I will never buy from it ever again. I want to share this case and let everyone stay alert.

“Takes seller's side even when they know you're being scammed. Not friendly to customers.”

I bid on a misleading auction on Yahoo JP where the seller put in an invisible hidden message (literally white text on white background at the bottom of the description) that the auction was for just a box and the pictured items come at a separate additional cost, which is against Yahoo JP's regulations. I backed up a step and said I'll eat the cost of the box auction if necessary since I was the one to get scammed, thinking that would be the worst case scenario since there is no ground for the seller to make anybody honor their demands for additional payment. FromJapan admitted that the seller was violating platform rules (photo attached). Then, for reasons I can't even imagine (absolute incompetence, or not caring about their customers as much as scammers from their own country?), they PAID for the extortionate additional amount the seller was asking to get the pictured items without consulting me at all! Then they gave me only the options to pay what they paid or $70 "cancellation fee" or they'll block my account. They did not try to go after the scammer in any way, just me, the buyer, who was paying them to use their service trusting they had a brain or decency somewhere in there. Needless to say, I am no longer a customer. Tip for consumers:I do not recommend this site. Products used:Shopping service Service Value Returns Quality

“Everything about this site is a red flag”

Everything about this site is a red flag. Unfortunately I noticed it too late. Ordered a couple of futons that I will never receive. FromJapan does not offer returns, cancellations, or splitting the package to make cheaper shipping methods available. They don't answer customer request, and you have to reach them through a form on the website (which is very clever, because then you have no way of proving to your credit card company that you've been trying to resolve things with the seller in the case of a claim). Shipping cost calculator is completely misleading. I understand the calculator cannot always be accurate, but the cost of shipping turned out to be 10 times higher than the estimate (and 3 times more than the actual futons). At that point the futons had already arrived, and of course FromJapan refuses to return them or even reply to my messages. Since I cannot have them shipped, they will keep my money and the mattresses (which they say on the website will get destroyed, but I'm almost 100% certain they'll sell it, or return it and get a refund - what should have been my refund). Stay clear. Not a scam exactly, but the whole business is set up in a clever way that lets them exploit customers. They can keep my $300, I just hope this review warns off enough customers that they lose more than that amount in the long run. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Wonderful / Favorite Proxy”

I used to use Buyee in the past, but looked for an alternative after a serious order issue and pricy fees. I came across FromJapan a few years ago. I have been using this proxy since highschool and now I'm a college graduate. Their service keeps improving too! Now they provide instant buying support for Mercari Japan. Your purchase will go through in real time and you don't have to wait for an agent to place it for you! Their "fees" are wonderfully priced and are usually only 300 yen ( about $2 USD) per order. Shipping prices are also very nice! I'm in Puerto Rico (USA territory). I usually buy the FedEx Priority 1-3 day shipping. My packages usually range from $19-$40 depending on how heavy it is. I believe these are fair prices for a 1-3 day shipment from Japan. You could also get even cheaper shipping options if you don't need the items within a day. I recommend this website and it will always be my "to go" proxy._______ Overall: Good service, good fees, a variety of different shipping methods with decent prices. They also package your items well! (I had Buyee send a boxed item in a paper folder and the box was torn badly. They took 0 responsibly even with insurance!) My photos are some of the items I've purchase here. Products used:Shirts, skirt, dresses, jacket, jewelry… Service Value Shipping Quality

“Ended up being scammed”

After months of using FromJapan's proxy bidding service to acquire japanese retro consoles and related gear. During the last couple of moths I ended up with what clearly seems to be a way for this company to steal from their customers: In two ocassions after browsing on an item that was very expensive, minutes later I received an email stating that I won the associated auction. I never bid on those items, however, somehow FromJapan used my account to bid the buyout price of those items -as I had my Paypal account linked to bid on auctions. First time I contacted FJ customer service who only offered me to cancel the trasaction for a 20% cancellation fee... as that was over 500 USD I had no option but to accept. In the second case, I got an item that was almost twice as expensive as similar items in Yahoo Auctions, this time I decided to keep the item but filed a claim with Paypal. Unfortunately, Paypal closed my claim stating that my account was linked to FJ and I was responsible for its usage. In turn FJ simply blocked my account aledgely stating that since I open a claim against them with PayPal I breached their Terms and Conditions. In the end, I asked for a comparable discount on shipping to my home country as compensation for this wrongdoing and asked for clarification on how this happened in the first place. As you might guess. At some point FJ simply stopped responding my communications. I ended up paying over 300 USD on products I never bid on... and FJ simply did not care. Be very careful with this vendor. They may play along for months until they decide to stat stealing from you. Tip for consumers:Do not stay long enough to get scammed. “Amazing quality of packing and shipping - Better than Zenmarket”

REALLY good packing for heavy and fragile goods Shipping with UPS seemed cheaper than with Zenmarket, and they didn't SMASH up my stuff like Zen did several times. See my other review linked below if you want to avoid their terrible service. Also, Sitejabber reviewers seemed to have a far lower regard for Zen before I wrote my review, I seriously think there are plenty of bogus accounts out there because their rating has gone right up since I made Zen aware of my now *published* thoughts. Check how many positive reviews they suddenly got around the 22nd to 23rd May, and that will tell you how reputable trustpilot really are too... Https :// www.sitejabber.com/reviews/zenmarket.jp?utm_source=transactional%20email&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=weekly%20views%20update&utm_content=text%3A%20see%20entire%20review#56 From Japan have packed my boxes with double boxing, suspended with polystyrene corners. It's like a box within a box, amazing service. See my video below to see how good it is. They really know how to pack big, electronic fragile items, because they are both professional and careful with the way they do things. I don't even have to go through the incessant nonsense of making a claim with them, Zen made my blood boil.

“Dishonest time waster!... another proxy rip of service!”

First of all, this is not my first try to use a so called proxy service to get goods from Japan stores or websites, cause it does not matter how much money you´ve got, sometimes business that are located in Japan do not want foreigners as customers, and that is a very sad fact, there are a lot of product where a disclaimer is printed on the package which tells you this " This Product is not for sale outside of Japan " or similar... My first try was Buyee.jp, which is not even located in Japan, they got their headquartes in the UK, yes i´am not kidding, and it seems that there is a pattern with al those " Proxy Buyer Service´s, first you " win " the Auction if you use Yahoo. Auction which is very popular in Japan, then you wait til your goods arrive at their " Warehouse " and then the Rip-Of starts right away... It is always the same, first they tell you that you can " choose " which shipping " Method " you want, but after your stuff arrived at their warehouse they cut all the affordable options and you have only the most expensive on there is left, in my case it was Prior Fed Ex Shipping or DHL Express which is equally overpriced,. Not even that they categorized my stuff wrong, no, they even tempered with the weight it self and ad a few Kilogram to it,... of course they got a fee from the carrier company for every Premium Package they sell... So i purchased a Frame for a Pocket Bike ( on Yahoo Auction Japan) for about 10.000 yen, and of course abracadabra al the Affordable options are gone al of a sudden... sure they choose the most Expensive one for me FedEx Prior for only 48.000 Yen, That is not only not what i wanted, it is just 5 times the amount of the purchased item, i would prefer sea freight, ok that might take 4 - 6 weeks, but hey i am not in a hurry... sure i do not pay that ridiculous shipment price, i rather let them discard it after 30 Days of Blackmailing, then that is exactly what that is, pay the overpriced shipment fee, or we throw it away... that is there policy. I did not demand Air Mail Shipping, but there is no other option which i could choose from... Is there any honest Proxy Buy goods from Japan Service out there i wonder? Tip for consumers:If you have very small goods, it is probably ok, but for larger items...please don´t use their " Rip of Service " it is horribly overpriced, and they don´t let you choose the shipping method as they claimed before, and also wrote on their Website under " Shipping Methods " Products used:I bid on few items, and purchased them already with my VISA Card, but i certainly do not pay that overpriced shipping fee, no way hosey.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet.
