Is freedom.to Legit?

Freedom.to is a complete scam. They stole $40 from my card, which had already been expired for three months. How the heck does that even happen? On top of that, they won’t let me remove the card from my account, which is absolutely absurd and shady as can be.I tried to delete my account three times to protect myself from future charges, but of course, their system is so messed up it wouldn’t even let me do that. I contacted support about this issue, and nobody responded for a whole week (still waiting).This app is a joke. Their security is a nightmare, their customer support is non-existent, and their business practices are shady. Apps like this shouldn’t even be allowed on the App Store. I would avoid Freedom.to at all costs! Don’t waste your time or money on this app.

Product doesn't work. Able to avoid restrictions through in-private browsing on mobile phone. Inconsistent on phone; sometimes blocks, sometimes doesn't. Purchased for food addiction; doesn't work, you can just close the program and it will allow you to go on any website.

Strap yourself in. These ones are special.I get the avoidance of customer service to keep payments down, and avoid any of us having to communicate, but ffs, you need to make sure the website works half decently before this approach works. Just lost my fingertip scolling back 50 years of months just to put in my date of birth to register online to save me talking to them. After being on hold for 30 minutes having to talk to them. For a reference number. And to tell them the website doesn't work. I honestly couldn't push it any more, the life had clearly been sucked out of the poor lassie speaking to me way before she answered my call. I actually felt apologetic as soon as she answered.I give up.

best blocking app I've found yet, worth paying for premiumonly downside is there is no native program for linux, but it still does work on linux firefox and chrome as an extension

Dear Freedom Team, 1 am writing to express my appreciation for your excellent application.I recently purchased Freedom lifetime after trying multiple fully premium products (like Cold Turkey Blocker).Your application is worth the money. I especially like Freedom's iOS integration and the screen time application blocking features.However, I have one suggestion for improvement. I wish you could add the focus filters feature in iOS so that the syncing between Apple devices would be much smoother, especially using the focus filters as a trigger for Freedom blocks using the Shortcuts app. I understand that there are some limitations of the syncing states between iOS devices (It's not Freedom's fault).Furthermore, I have also created some shortcuts that help the syncing process between my Apple/Devices. I love to share them with you if you are interested.Thank you for creating such a productive and user-friendly application. Please keep up the good work!Sincerely,

I’m just trialing the app and had an issue and was impressed by how promptly an issue I had was solved - to do with my own error. Personable and timely customer service is really important to me so this is a big gold star.

Freedom is a blessing! I used to get sucked into all kinds of deep internet corners in the evenings - I'm curious, it's not a bad thing, but it can be really hard on my sleep. I've set up Freedom to block social media, news and other time eaters from 10pm to 7am, so that I can't get lost when I have the least will power. And then I activate it, whenever I have to do work. Love it. It really is freedom.

Good tool, but even after paying for the full version I constantly have to remove their ads which suggest I gift it to someone. Give it a rest please. Super distracting and against the purpose of this tool

never used, went for a refund but they fraudulently refused stating T&C but i made the purchase before they updated their T&Cs

That is a very good app.Its simple to use and it just does what it says.

Freedom really helped me focus on my work. It really made me more productive. I think it's a great tool, especially if you work from home.

Honestly, it just doesn't work... it's clunky and slow. I can get passed it with ease. Way better options out there.

Very clunky and unreliable both on Windows & Android. Bad UX on both. When it works it works.

I love Freedom, they give me time to do my task perfectly. And their perk is so great, thank so much!
