Is focusgroup.co.uk Legit?

Well after a bit of a tricky beginning - full of misunderstandings, we were kindly directed by the lovely Rupert in IT to Laurence Blackledge, our accounts manager. He was brilliant. We resolved a lot of the issues which had resulted in our original IT company being taken over by Focus Group. Laurence was just fantastic - helpful, informative and very supportive regarding the difficulties we had with our WiFi. Hayden our engineer sorted out the problem and we are finally able to livestream our services again. I have to say everyone I spoke with was friendly, polite and very professional. Well done Focus Group and thank you.

Our previous phone system was beginning to cause issues for remote users. Jim Bourke specified a new system that is much easier to manage and easier for end users. It is reassuring to know any minor issues or queries will be dealt with in an efficient, friendly manner.

Installation went well. Training with Adam Hamilton was very helpful. Adam is a good teacher. He explained the system well and answered my questions clearly and patiently

Adam Hamilton provided a valuable training session for the Horizon admin portal. He was very thorough and explained things in great detail. He took his time to ensure I understood and continually checked in to see if I had any questions.

We used Focus Group to supply and fit new WIFI AP's throughout our Primary School. From Quote to finish they were brilliant. The quote was well set out and easy to understand, the project manager and engineers were knowledgeable, flexible and professional. Everyone worked to provide a product/service that suited our needs and our budget. Our project ended up being a little complex because we have a complex Victorian site but everything came together smoothly. I would recommend.

I called Focus Support to set up auto attendant and voicemail on our telephone system. Sam O'Mara was extremely helpful, he dealt with my request instantly and even agreed to do our personalised message himself and did a great job. Well done Sam!

I had been having some of the problems with Focus that are mentioned in the one star reviews. After many emails/letters of complaint I was phoned by Millie in customer services who did an absolutely brilliant job in resolving the matter for us, enabling us to update the system and move forward. My faith in the company has been restored by her excellent service. Thank you, Millie.

We changed to Focus Group from our previous supplier, not only for a better price but for a fantastic local company themselves. James Lupson made sure the transition period was very smooth and the new software we are on works flawlessly with a lot more control and facilities to use. Highly recommend!

He is quick to respond, listens and makes sure the experience with the product is as good as it can be.Their support team are quick to respond and resolve the issues we have quickly and preofessionally.Regardless which service you go for, they always make improvements to improve customer experience.

Dave attended site recently , demonstrated excellent customer service, very knowledgeable and was able to fix all issues we were having with our new phone system. He reassured me that he and the support team were always on hand if required in the future. A credit to the Focus Group.

I had a query with a forward on our main reception line, I got through to Sam O'Mara who dealt with my query in a very efficient & professional manner.Amazing Customer Service - thank you.

We have been with Focus Group for a number of years, following their purchasing of a great company we were clients with. At current, customer service isn’t great and as others have identified they add services onto your bill without consent nor explanation. As a customer , I shouldn’t have to scrutinise every bill I receive. The final straw was that we wanted to upgrade our handsets and change the telephony voip core network. It was made clear that we will pay outright for the handsets and only want a one year contract. NOW BE CAREFUL. Even their one year contracts turn into three year contracts without a get out clause. I have emailed them about this and they have not responded. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read every word of any contract they send you. If they say there isn’t a contract they are not telling the truth. If you are happy to then sign then you are good to go. One last thing, anything a salesman tells you by email doesn’t mean anything as it isn’t in the contract and means nothing in law. We have not signed up with them and are looking for a company that will not try and have us over.

Very Crooked company, price increases constantly. Started off paying approx. £50 a month broadband and eventually increased to £125 month. They kept calling me sending me a new form to sign and lied to me it was not a contract which turned out to be a contract. I was bombarded with the contract daily followed by phone calls non stop so they could trap me in another contract. I did have a good laugh pretending I could not hear them on my mobile. I've since left and pay £45 a month and my provider gave me a free phone. Disgusting company with crooked business ethic.

I became a customer of Focus when my original provider sold out. I have had nothing but problems, mainly accounting, over charging, billing for things I didn’t order and sporadic price increases. When I confront them the extras get credited, but it’s annoying and time consuming, and shouldn’t happen. It’s a sneaky way to gain extra revenue, as I expect many people do not notice it. Looking forward to the day when my contract ends

Adam Hamilton you were a star today! Explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. I feel confident that we can navigate our way around the Horizon system and make our own changes.

The training provided by Robbie was very helpful and he explained everything thoroughly. He was happy to answer any questions I had a was also friendly and didn't get frustrated at my computer "technical" issue.

Very good experience with Focus Group, their engineer turned up promptly, installed everything thoroughly and was really helpful with setup. Good communication from their admin team and very helpful.

I had quite a complex telecoms case with Focus group - While at the start I did get bounced around a few departments I finally got through to Deanna. Deanna was extremely helpful and kept me up to date throughout the process which helped me and my customer; Even if there wasn't an update Deanna still checked in the provide advice or assistance where they could. Thank-you Deanna, you turned quite a complex case into a understandable project for all.
