florist.ca Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives florist.ca a medium-high trust score on the platform: 75.4. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 75.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to florist.ca's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning florist.ca, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between florist.ca and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of florist.ca. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of florist.ca, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. florist.ca is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether florist.ca has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether florist.ca boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, florist.ca.

Flowers were supposed to be delivered on Saturday. I chose the "premium" package and ordered an assortment of tulips for my mother's birthday (the following Monday). I didn't order any flower pot, since my mother has dozens of them! First: the flowers were not delivered on Saturday, but late in the afternoon on Monday, after I emailed and called them to know what was going on. Second: A flower pot was delivered (which I did not order)Third: the "premium" assortment includes very exactly 6 tulips (wow!) I was told that they were "double tulips", which seems to justify twice the price. Bouquet was fine, but does not justify the price. Fourth: All the communications were done in French (my first language) and I noted multiple mistakes; I found it disrespectful to clients. My advise, which is line with the other reviews: Stay away from this company!
Extremely disappointed with everything from the online ordering process to the customer service. Ordered flowers and specifically chose this shop because of their same-day delivery. Checked out with an address only to find out later that day that they cannot service the location and the delivery will happen 5 days later, which is when my recipient will no longer be at the address anyways and that their partner who services the location would cost about $20 more. I reached out to let customer service know about this and said I am willing to pay extra to have the delivery happen as soon as possible. It is extremely important and special to me. They simply replied reiterating their previous message. Trying to be kind turned into a huge hassle and I am worried about getting a refund or changing the delivery date.
TERRIBLE!!!Ordered, not delivered, NO customer service!!!Stealing peoples money and kindness right out from under them. Wish I had read all the other reviews before making my purchase. To the person who supposedly got the Flowers, Wine and Cheese...You are welcome! I will ensure all my social media friends family and business relationships all know not to trust this site/company...whatever your scamming business is.
An order was placed for my wife for a plant she already had. We wanted to exchange it and called the same day the plant was delivered but we were told that it could not be exchanged even if we went to the location ourselves. Further, the product was advertised as having a ceramic pot and a ribbon. We received it with no ribbon, and instead a plastic pot that was far more flimsy than the nice ceramic one advertised. Customer service was really poor and refused to resolve this issue. Their policy indicates substitutions may be necessary based on inventory and they will be of equal or greater value. However we received a substitution of lesser value, clearly. The customer service rep continued claiming the plastic pot was of equal value to the ceramic one. Will not be ordering from here again.
Ordered flowers, paid a premium for delivery, they were extremely late and by time they came the recipient was gone. I called multiple times during day to make sure it would be on time they said yes prior to 5pm for all business orders. They have a guarantee for business for 5pm and clearly don’t stand behind this as it came in at 750pm. Asked for discount or refund kept going in circles. After multiple calls I get another answer of expect to hear a email back. If a positive result happens I will update this review.Update after making me waste over 100$ they offered me 10$ off a future purchase lol
Bouquet of orchids with card for Mother's Day ordered for delivery the day before the holiday. No show. I call up florist.ca and am told there was "some kind of mix up" and the flowers will be delivered the day after Mother's Day now. No compensation, no refund or discount code for next time or any kind responsibility taken for the "mix up" just an "I'm sorry for the inconvinience" followed by an awkward silence. I will be ordering flowers from a different service from now on.UPDATE: ordered 50 blooms she got 35, no vase just wrapped in plastic, and no plant food to keep them fresh. 😡😡😡😡😡
🚨 !!!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! 🚨 The absolute worst customer service and extremely infuriating! Flowers showed up 2 days late , wrong Colors and all dead by the time the recipient got it. They offered me my $15 delivery fee in store credit (what a joke)
I ordered roses, card & truffles package and Chocolate Supreme Basket to be delivered May 7. Flowers got delivered May 6 and Chocolate Supreme basket got delivered May 9. It sat in courier van 3 nights and all the truffles melted. The basket contained 5 products that were not sweets but crackers for cheese and tea. They took 4 days to reply to my inquiries and I sent pictures. They take no responsibility for the goods & Service.
I ordered the bouquet posted online with roses, baby roses, mini daisies and carnations, luscious green foliage for $69.99. I paid extra to have them delivered Sunday (Mother's Day) ($105 total). On Friday, she got a 6 brown and wilted roses in a generic vase with one sad carnation bud shipped from Vancouver. They were plopped on her doorstep didnt even bother to ring the doorbell. There are nicer bouquets for $15 at the local grocers. I called for an immediate refund because their service is fraudulent. They look like a local shop on their website. They say they will "review my photos", but I haven't heard back from customer service. Do not order from this company. They are stealing from unsuspecting customers. I will be reporting them to visa as well.
I ordered online, delivery time was given, order confirmation sent. My mother was informed to be home for the delivery the day before Mother's Day.Nothing arrived at all, no call, nothing. I called up, mostly got to an answer machine where I was asked to leave a message, which I did numerous times. The one time I got through to a person, that person hung up on me when I said that the order did not arrive. I also send 3 emails. NOTHING. I call that fraud.
Awful experience with this company, stealing peoples money. Wish i had read all these reviews before I got suckered in. Ordered a flower arrangement for my wife to be delivered on our anniversary, it showed up 3 days later. They refuse to return my money even after numerous emails back and forth. All they do is blame the courier. Will never use this place again!!!!!!
Paid for a same day service, placed the order in the morning. Of course it did not arrive. I sent a follow up email, I called and put it all in the delivery instructions, and as I said it did not show up. Called them to track said they would get back to, and never did. Brutal service, avoid them at all costs
Ordered two separate deliveries for both my mom and mother in law. Cute package came with flowers, chocolate and a card, and decent price. Was given Sunday as a delivery option so paid a bit extra but was happy to have them arrive on Mother's day. Well nothing showed up on Sunday, nothing arrived on Monday either. Started a live chat with the company and one of the deliveries, they said was too remote and they only deliver on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and order two said the flowers were sent out but they had courier issues....so in other words they sat in a hot truck for a couple days. My mom finally received her flowers on Tuesday by Purolator and they look half dead, and no card. This was my second time ordering through this company and remember having issues with delivery last time too so this is definitely the last time I will order. It's ashame because it's convenient but I will take time, next time, to locate a local florist and support local. Wish I could include a picture of the very sad looking bouquet.
Ordered a bouque for Mothers' Day. It was never delivered and then when asked what happened, florist.ca blamed it on the courier company and simply offered a $15 store credit rather than a refund. Not impressed.
If I could give a zero to this business I would. The bouquet sent resembled nothing to the photo I ordered. It was thrown together and did not arrive in a vase! I contacted the company with photos and they claimed what they sent was within their policy. Do not order from this company! I really wish I could add the photos to show proof of what was delivered.
I ordered flowers for Valentines Day Feb 14, 2022 and never came. I called the 1800 number and they told me it will be delivered the next day at my house. I waited and still never came. I called on Feb 16, 2022 and ask for my money back and cancel my order. But refuses to cancel my order or give my money back. Lesson learned. Will never order from florist.ca nor recommend it to anyone.
I ordered a 'Dragonfly' bouquet from the UK to be delivered to a family member in Canada following the passing of my father. The flowers did not arrive on the specified day, nor the day after. I was advised this was due to a road closure!!! The flowers eventually arrived 2 days later and were in poor condition, the petals were brown and the stems were limp. There were no dragonflies despite the bouquet being advertised has having these. The flowers were about half the size as shown in the photo. I wrote an email to complain and sent them photographs, and was given the explanation that the flowers looked smaller due to the way they had been arranged, the poor quality was due to the recipient not looking after them properly (the photo was taken 10 minutes after they were delivered), and the dragonflies were out of stock. The delay was the courier's fault. They took no responsibility whatsoever for the awful service and product, and just blamed everyone else. I would urge anyone not to use this company if you want your delivery on time and in good condition. Their customer service is appalling with no apology or refund offered. Their refunds policy states that they will offer a replacement bouquet but they would not honour this either.
I placed an order on Dec 24th, to be delivered on Dec 27th and the flowers had not been delivered as at the time of writing this review on Dec 28th.
I ordered flowers for my mother's 75th birthday. I tried to pay with my visa debit, which I was told, by an agent, would work. In the process, I discovered that their live chat required the reps to talk to many customers at a time, leaving 10 minutes between replies. This may not be the repository fault, but it is rude: imagine that happening in person at a customer service desk, saying one sentence at a time to each customer in the line, then getting back to them 10 minutes later with another sentence.... not cool.Anyway, I later received an email telling me I "forgot something" i.e. to pay. I politely requested they cancel and tapped the link to go back and empty my cart. I then received another email, four hours later, saying I "forgot something". I tried to email back again, only to discover it was a no-reply email. I went back on the site to get a real email address, only to discover their listed email is bogus. That was giant red flag to me. So I went on live wait, oops, chat, and waited forever between replies to be given robotic relies of needing an order number to cancel an order I was never given an order for since I never paid. Receiving a second email my have been an oversight, but the customer service, fake email, not accepting visa debit when they said they would, all suck. After reading these reviews, I think I dodged bullet from a crappy company, now, and glad I ordered my flowers elsewhere.
I paid $14.99 for an order to be delivered on a Monday and shocker, it wasnt. Not impressed, I paid too much money for flowers not to be delivered on time.

Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you own florist.ca, we would love to hear from you. However, if you would like to challenge this review and trust score, we are more than willing to take a deeper look, but be prepared to offer solid proof of your business. Please introduce yourself first (your name, not "Admin"). Consumers are smart. Typically, they don't trust websites that don't show transparency, such as the location of the business, team, or any other physical existence. When domain owners contact us to challenge the trust score of their website on our website Validator, we would kindly ask them to share some of the following things: * Details from their ecosystem that would show that they are 100% trustworthy (certificate of incorporation, business registration, official records showing the name of the website or business, etc.). * Their personal profile on LinkedIn and social media accounts for the business on Facebook. * If possible, some screenshots/proof of satisfied clients (not testimonials on their website), proof of inventory, canceling orders when requested, etc.).
