floorcity.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives floorcity.com a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 66.4. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 66.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to floorcity.com's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning floorcity.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between floorcity.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of floorcity.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of floorcity.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. floorcity.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether floorcity.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether floorcity.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, floorcity.com.

Make sure to give yourself plenty of time for your order. Ordered on 2/8 was told 5-7 business days for delivery hoping for delivery around 2/20-2/22. Hired a contractor and put on their schedule for 2/20-2/28. Flooring now not slated to come until 3/1-3/7 no troubleshooting or ability to fix my problem.
Tried to order a some trim pieces to match a floor I have. They impolitely informed me that they do not sell trim pieces by themselves, only if you are ordering flooring. From the other negative reviews here, I am sort of glad they wouldn’t sell me anything, saving me further hassles.
I ordered 7 boxes of LVP. Upon receiving our boxes, we noticed that the material was a shade off on the color. We reached out to return the boxes and that's when we learned that there's a 35% restocking fee. That's my fault for not researching that previously, but 35%???? Also, during the shipping process, 3 boxes opened up but all the contents were still in there undamaged. They said they wouldn't accept return of the opened boxes and since those could not be returned, I was now below the minimum return of 250sqft. This place is a complete joke.
Wasn't made aware of price when ordering and way overpriced!!! Brutal return policy and even no returns on items such as trowels. Will never use again and let the company who contracts me to never use Floor City
Numerous times I have called to place an order. I always ask what the lead time is to get the product. I tell them that I need to make sure it will be received by a certain date. Each time I place the order they assure me that I will receive my materials by the dates I have given. However, EVERY time I have NOT received them when needed. I keep giving them multiple chances to recoup themselves and I am let down every time and have had to spend more to have employees drive out of state to deliver the materials. As soon as I can, we will be finding another supplier.
called to place an order of 30 boxes of VCT and was speaking to one of the Managers (did not give me his name). After asking two questions (Pricing and Pickup) he had the nerve to ask me "what's up with all the questions", I thought I had misheard and asked him what was it he said and he said "what is up with all these questions" I politely said well as a customer I can ask as many questions needed to make sure about my purchase, His response what "well yeah and I do not have to sell to me" and hung up.. I would not spend a dime at this place after being treated like this...
I requested a sample of Armstrong Excelon Tile 51901 Taupe and received a sample of 51906. Needless to say I was trying to match this specific tile that had been placed in 64 apartments, so receiving a Teal instead of a Taupe tile did not help at all.
Confirmed before purchasing that our flooring would be delivered in 6-8 days. On the day it was supposed to be delivered, I called to confirm a time and they said it needed to be scheduled. No one ever notified me of having to schedule. I had to wait a whole extra week before it delivered and push back my product. When received, 4 boxes were damaged and I was sent the incorrect stair nose. On flooring claims their photos of the stair nose are "out of date" but have yet to give me a refund for sending me incorrect items. I have been back and forth for over a week with three different a employees and have not resolved this issue. Was not given a refund or replacement for the damaged flooring either.
I wish I had researched a little before I placed an order with Floorcity.com. This company is good at taking your money for product up front, but not delivering. 4 weeks. No order status, no tracking number, yet they have our money. Monday I'm filing a complaint with the State AG.
We received one day later than promised and product was damaged in shipping with half or more product end broken. Fortunately we needed less than carton to complete our project was able to salvage sufficient quantity.
Attempted to order Armstrong flooring product however after placing the order was told that the product was backordered and was only available in a warehouse in another state. The website said none of this and customer service basically said "tough luck". Would not recommend anyone to attempt to do business with this company.
I ordered a tile product with 2 weeks for product to arrive at the warehouse, which was fine. I was given the option to save money and shipping time by picking the product up at the Everett warehouse. I was then informed that my tile order had been combined with a larger order of another customer, causing a one month delay. Emailing back and forth with Jeffery got me nowhere, and he simply became defensive and pointed the finger at the manufacturer instead of admitting he or another simply did not check the status of an order that appeared to evaporate into another larger buyer, and not letting me know this until days after I lost the order. Needless to say I won't be dealing with FloorCity again for any of my rentals.
Was mislead via phone regarding product. Ordered samples and was told I would have them in 3 days. 2 samples showed up the other 3 did not. I called to find out status and was then told the Azrock VCT wasn't available in Texas yet nobody bothered to call or email to tell me the samples were not coming... nothing. Called to place an order of one of the samples we did receive and was then told those items were on back order. Total nightmare experience.
The shipping was fast, but I paid for three samples & shipping only to be sent the wrong ones, which were completely useless. Not that $8 is an astronomical amount, but I might as well have just thrown the cash in the garbage.
This place is horrible. I cancelled an order b/c in 3 days they had not provided an update on the status of my order or shipped anything to me and the Sales Manager emailed me to say that there would still be a $25 transfer fee and a 35% fee on the item. For what? They never shipped anything to me and I have not received anything. I will never order anything from them ever again! Buyer Beware.
Tile arrived on a Thursday, 2 of 9 boxes were damaged - box was pierced with fork lift and tiles inside damaged. Seems like an easy return, right? Called Friday early AM (8:00) , they said to take a picture and send it. We did this and did not hear back. I called Monday, and was told it was on Matt's desk, and he would get back to me. Called back later in afternoon saying wait 48 hours to hear from distributor. How long does it take to refund a person for damaged goods? Called back Tuesday and put on a long hold to try to get me to give up. No one is processing my request for the return, and they only have a 7 day window. The damage is not my fault and no one there cares. Be careful ordering from this company!
Ordered samples. Received them one week later. Wanted to order 1 box of discontinued tile. They said they won't ship one box. I actually only need one tile for a repair and was going to buy a whole box but they wouldn't ship it to me. offered to pick up at one of their warehouses but wouldn't ship it there either.
This was SO FAR from the correct floor. It did not match what I ordered in any way. It is too much trouble to return it, but I am very very disappointed in wasting my time with this company.
Not good service im pick up in the wearhouse they do freight delivery charge anyway
Flooring is not something traditionally purchased online so I made sure to do some research with the BBB and other sites before purchasing. I decided to trial the site with 2 cartons rather than the 25+ cartons needed to see what the experience would be. Good thing that I did! I purchased with the price quoted online, selected a local warehouse for delivery pick up and received a confirmation email stating the same. A day later, my original order was cancelled and I was forwarded an email link from part owner, Matt Uhacz, to purchase the same material at a significantly higher price (7.54/sq ft vs 5.24/sq ft) plus added shipping. First he stated that he could not find my original order. I shared the order #. He then explained that there was an "error" in the online pricing and the location selected did not allow for pickup delivery although I was able to make those selections and had a confirmation email as proof. He then sent a screen shot of the footer on the website stating "prices are subject to change". I responded that this holds true "after the purchase is made?" and asked him to honor my Original order. He responded that they are not Walmart and could not do so, but I could use the link provided to purchase at the higher price. This company advertised one pricd on their website, allowed me to purchase, sent me a confirmation and then cancelled my order. He was dishonest about not being able to find my order number and refused the honor the price that I procured from their website. Fortunately, a local flooring provider was able to secure my larger order for 6.19/sq ft and the order is already in. I am happy to pay more for some assurance of customer service and support. I would not recommend using flooringcity.com to other consumers. Buyer beware! I feel as though I dodged a bullet and want other consumers to know.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
