Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning fivver.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between fivver.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of fivver.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of fivver.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. fivver.com is a suspect website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether fivver.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether fivver.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

I have experienced significant issues with Fiverr, particularly concerning their treatment of users outside the United States. Payments are often withheld without clear communication, causing unnecessary delays and financial stress. This is especially frustrating for international freelancers who rely on timely payments. Fiverr's lack of transparency and fairness in handling payment issues has made it difficult for non-US users to trust the platform. I hope they address these concerns and improve their practices to be fair and equitable for all users, regardless of location.
This website is a disgrace. I trusted people on fivver to do some SEO through my website. My mistake was giving them access to the website which was destroyed between 2 or 3 people from fivver. Up until then it was a perfectly good site. Website does not work properly full of viruses and now tries to send emails from clients to someone else. My payment system stopped working, the admin access does not work. The people on fivver are not all trustworthy but you dont know who is, since most of the reviews are fake. If you pay peanuts ,you get monkeys !! Sometimes working with an agency that has an address and is professional may cost more but will save you anxiety and stress later on. My website cannot be replaced now since we spent alot on getting the google ranking higher over many years , so we are screwed thanks to fivver .
I have worked with a number of different free lancers on this website now (mostly graphic design related technical jobs, eg getting image files print ready etc.), and while not all are as good as others, it's a great website to find people offering all sorts of niche services at a good price. I will definitely continue to use it, very useful.
For the most part the Fivver providers have done a good to great job for me. Very few negative experiences and Fivver will refund customers who do not get the work specified. Overall very happy. I have used them for years for clearly defined projects. If a project is not completed you get a refund. Rarely have I needed a refund over many transactions.
Don't waste your time on these websites, you can design a website yourself and get customers. These websites have a lot of fraud and nonsense rules that make you unable to progress. Beware of fake employers and freelancers, they are mostly scams.
KEEP BANNING ME FIVVER, YOU CANNOT BAN FROM HERE. DISGUSTING WHO BAN ME AND CRAP ALL OVER THEIR SELLERS. LET'S KEEP THIS GOD-FORSAKEN, PATHETIC CRAPSHOW GOING. I HAVE SPENT GOOD MONEY WITH YOU, SO NOW REFUND ME IN FULL OR I GO BALLISTIC ALL OVER THE INTERNET. HOW DARE YOU REFUSE ME ACCESS TO MY PURCHASES. I WILL FORWARD YOU MY MULTIPLE BLOGS TO YOU RANK AMATUERS.
We would all wont to spend £1000s on market our new business but the reality is that's just not possible for most start up companies, so I turned to Fivver and the amount of money I have saved is amazing the logo alone saved me £400 Leaflet design £200 Info Graphics £300 the list goes on and on. it can be trail and error but dont be afraid of where the seller lives! if you openly work with the sellers you choose in my experience they will in turn work wonders, I have now had to privileged to work sellers from Europe, The States and Asia, always finishing with a final product I am really happy with, sure sometimes there have been a good few amendments but only to get the best final product. Great Site!!!!
DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!!!!!It took me 4 years to get them to change my location and then as soon as they finally did they said that my profile picture was fake and that I would be suspending from the platform if I didn't upload a legit picture... ITS A PICTURE OF ME???? THAT HAS BEEN THERE FOR SEVERL YEARS SINCE I SIGNED UP!!!Horrific UNPROFESSIONAL system and staff. terrible customer service very good at WAISTING YOUR TIME....
Aweful company!!!! I have lost hundreds of dollars bookings gigs with freelancers and the jobs being so badly and them refusing to refund any money!!! Don’t use this company!!!! It’s full of scamming amateurs!! And there is no real customer service, after the money this company takes from you as a cut, they should at least have a decent customer service!!!
AVOID AT ALL COST, this site is full of scammers who pretend to be real professional freelancers, many profiles claim to be from the US, UK and Canada when in fact, they are scammers from India and Nigeria....be very careful and avoid this site at all costs.
Best app for online marketing . very good service .it provides platform for freelances.fivver has become a go-to destination for business and individuals looking to outsource tasks efficiently.
I am writing this review to express my deep dissatisfaction with Fiverr's handling of my gig and the lack of transparency and support in resolving the issue.I have been a dedicated seller on Fiverr for quite some time, and my gig, which had over 90 five-star reviews, was suddenly denied. Fiverr claimed that my gig involved copyright assets, but I have not used any copyrighted material in my services. Despite my repeated requests for clarification on what specific copyright issue they identified, Fiverr refused to provide any details. Instead, I received a curt response telling me not to contact them about it further and to create a new gig. This lack of transparency and unwillingness to assist is not only frustrating but also incredibly disappointing. I have invested significant time and effort in building my gig's reputation and clientele, and now all my hard work has been erased without any explanation. This has severely impacted my business and income. As a professional video editor, I am meticulous about adhering to copyright laws and regulations. Fiverr's vague accusation and refusal to clarify the issue make it impossible for me to rectify any alleged problem or understand what went wrong. The customer support experience was equally disheartening. Instead of receiving help to resolve the issue, I was dismissed and left with no guidance or support. This is not the level of service or accountability I expected from a platform that relies on the creativity and dedication of its sellers.I urge Fiverr to reconsider their approach to handling such issues and to provide clear, detailed explanations when denying gigs, especially when it involves established sellers with excellent reviews. It is essential for Fiverr to support its sellers and offer a fair chance to address any concerns.I hope my feedback will lead to improvements in Fiverr's policies and customer support, so other sellers do not have to face the same frustrating experience. Until then, I am left feeling that Fiverr is not a supportive platform for creative professionals.
Absolute idio. Screw their own vendors over and their repeated customers. BLOCKED ME BY MY I.P WHICH IS EQUALLY PATHETIC. Like that crass act will stop me. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE BECAUSE THEY ARE DAYLIGHT ROBBERS AND BACKSTABBERS. REFUND MY MONEY YOU LOWLIFE'S. HOW DARE YOU! BACKSTABBERS. Back on in a few minutes to DEMAND your attention.
Absolutely horrible. I used a promotional Spotify agency called Groovehub through Fivver and they have many great reviews so I trusted the advertisement on Fivver. Listen very closely, my Spotify account was flagged not even two weeks later for suspicious streams. This Groovehub agency is the only service I have ever used to promote my single. They are fake with fake bot streams and if you value your music and time it would be a huge mistake to use them. Spotify doesn't play with fake bot streams and will remove your music. Please for the love of God do not use Groovehub or Fivver. I asked Groovehub for a refund and to completely remove me from their fake curator lists and shifty practice.
Bad sellers on this platform. Full of scammers and can't render services correctly. Fivver the platform does a terrible job of vetting legit sellers. Do not buy services that are not based in US. Be very careful. We had to file a chargeback with our bank to get our money back. We got Fivver involved and they stated the seller was more then willing to fix service. However, the seller failed many times and we waited for 2 weeks for the service to be completed. The seller was always late and had nothing but excuses.
Very poor customer service--I had requested to permanently disable a generic gmail account as I wanted to use my company email on the site. The support rep completely missed what my request was about and inaccurately and unfairly accused me of trying to set up two accounts! I was actually trying to avoid doing that very thing by asking one account be disabled but this rep advised that I stay off the site or I will be blocked. Very unprofessional. I suggest that, rather than respond on auto-pilot, the support team actually read the request to understand the issue.
Be very cautious when using this app. A Fivver seller blocked me from my own website, he actually changed my password and username because he was angry at my review. I initially gave him a 3 out of 5 because he said he would take 48 hrs, which took 6 weeks. He was sick, technical issues, never responded for days and constantly did the wrong things from my requests. After my review he threatened me to change my number to a higher number or he’d do harm to himself. He told me I ruined his life forever and I’m a cheat. He also blocked any of my viewers from any content on my website from destroying my menu bar. Fivver, is crediting my money back from this seller and “allowing” me to hire another Fivver seller to fix this major problem and “generously” giving me a 10% discount. This is a fraudulent company who supports criminal sellers. He used my username and password to change and block me out of my own website permanently. He erased content and is still writing me threatening messages privately and all over my social media.
I have be able to work with new artists and get awesome results. Logo creation, jingles, website design. You have to do your research, as each freelancer is different, but well worth the time. Great site
Getting slightly more expensive, but there are so many good freelancers available. Helped me with many side-projects.
Great site. I hired three illustrators to design aprons for me and so far so good. Very talented and reliable designers.

“Freelancers: Pursue other sales avenues”
Would strongly advise any freelancer/contractor to pursue other channels for sales. They can restrict your account at any time and will not give you an exact reason for up to 60 days. We have a perfect score across their metrics and over 10 five-star reviews. Happy to comply with any requests, but they do not provide details. They also take 20%, which is a lot. -- Update: They expedited their review process - only because I left a review on Trustpilot. Good to know they really care... They ultimately decided to ban me for offering a similar service to other freelancers, which is AI vocal cloning.
“Laughable app and service.”
I am unable to see my order or the artwork from the graphic artist. I submitted a support ticket and when I click on the link provided, I get a message saying "Oops! Page does not exist". LOL! I only spent $13 so it is no huge loss but it did cost me some time. Find a different service and save yourself some headache. Products used:Graphic artist Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“I was a seller for 12 years and they disabled my account”
Fiverr disabled my 5 stars, 100 percent response rate, success level 10, repeat buyer badge account while I was sleeping due to a single horrible and abusive customer who wanted to cancel two orders after the work was completed. This is a TERRIBLE site to freelance and I am planning on getting as many sellers with similar expeirences together for a class action lawsuit aginst this company for it's unethical business practices regarding sellers. STAY AWAY AND DO NOT SELL ON THIS UNSTABLE AND GREEDY PLATFORM! JUNE 4TH - They claimed they would review my account and then that basically made up an excuse as to why the account was disabled. However, since then, I have learned that the UK and US are investigating fiverr for violating workers rights and establishing the company as a freelance site when they are operating as an employer without protcetion for it's employees. I am talking to a legal team who is preparing evidence against the site for it's illegal business practices. The UK supreme court confirmed that in the case of Uber, the relationship that of an employer and employee — and not self-employed or an "independent contractor" as gig platforms try to pitch themselves to governments. The rationale is simple: if the individual is subject to significant control over what, when and how to work, it is considered employment. In the case of Fiverr, the "when" element is particularly extreme given that workers are put on a clock, which is open to exploitation by buyers who let the worker make progress on a sizeable portion of the work, and then play for time in order to later decline a job that was not delivered on time, thereby leaving the worker completely out of pocket. Fiverr provides no protection to workers who fall victim to such abuse as the company seeks to grow it's client base at all cost. Unlike Uber, Fiverr does not cover workers against chargebacks either, which can easily leave a worker out of pocket with as much as $5000. The "what" and "how" factors are also very controlled in the sense that a rigid system is imposed on the worker with penalties for responding late on weekends and overnight, ultimately creating the ideal modern slavery concept where customer services is extended to a 24/7 situation in order to retain a ranking. Rankings also go down when chargeback situations are complained about by workers. Overall, Fiverr exerts substantially more control over workers than Uber, even when they are not actively working when the customer service and response obligations are considered. It can be argued that Airbnb is doing the same when the various elements of compliance, which all impact the what, when and how factors of control. There were also alarming voices from India, such as a petition on change.org that urged the Fiverr CEO, Micha Kaufman to stop the exploitation of Indian children.
“Wish this company goes bankrupt”
Upon requesting order from seller. Seller delivered as promised but soon after week nothing work. I placed positive review and so on for seller. But had to cancel order in one week. Entire platform service is a scam. I tried contacting them no answer. I called my card they replied and blocked payment transaction. Now fiverr wants money anyway. They overcharged me 600$ for a service that they did not provide. For a review that is falsified as of now. But the moment I signed out fiverr ban me. Stating that email was sent out explaining what happened. No email was sent to me. If I give a chance I would shut them down permanently. No star for this company. Stay away and don't even bother using this scam platform Tip for consumers:Horrible experience only. Products used:Online platform.
“Fiverr gave me a refund when the seller was crooked”
This review began as a 1 star, and I changed it to a 5 star. There is a deficiency in the Fiverr software that made me have to rewrite my complaint every time the seller responded. I thought that the seller had figured out the perfect system to make sure the review never reached Support. However, it did reach support, and support resolved the issue within a few hours after I made the complaint.
“Not getting enough clients through Fiverr”
Fiverr is interesting website for me, but I had bad experience to make a gig and through that, getting valid and genuine customers. It is so awkward and hard thing for non-technical people to get work from another country or other people. It is really annoying when you are spending enough time but never earn a single penny after 15 days with Fiver! Here I'm attaching the fake fiverr+ Facebook profile, I ordered him and pay money in advance, he also looted other people including me. Please report this person and mark spam to his mobile number. “COPYRIGHT INFRIGMENT NIGHMARE!”
This site is a complete waste of time! I wasted 3 weeks and went through three designers only to keep finding out that they were taking images from shutterstock.com and passing them off as their "custom" work. They literally sent the exact image from shutterstock! And yes, I bought the premium package! Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Not worth a penny!”
This is a scam... They send you templates and information from other companies, miss deadlines and give you useless data pulled out of the sky. I had top write the whole thing on my own, So unprofessional you cannot even speak to anyone. Do not use this company. I am asking for my money back.
“Never use Fivver! It literally gives a platform to fraudsters, liars and fake artists.”
Nearly every single "illustrator" I have dealt with on this deceitful platform was a scam artists, who lies to everyone who contacts them. They pretend to be artists and illustrators but what they actually do is use photoshop to cobble together art they steal online and foist it off as original work. They are all liars! It's dangerous, fraudulent and can get you, the buyer, in serious trouble. It is astonishing and unconscionable that they 1) are allowed to do this and 2) make money form it all. It's very sad. This website should be sued and shut down, in my opinion. Stay away. Stay very far away. You've been warned. Products used:Freelance Illustrators Service Value Quality
“No customer service at all”
This platform is just for earning money. There is no customer support email, chat, phone. Nothing. It is ridiculous. There is no way to contact the customer service department. I've never had a worse freelancer experience. I was duped by a seller. I reported him, and Fiverr surprised me by issuing an alert. I attempted to understand why they would send such an email without taking into account our chat background, but there was no way to contact their customer service help desk. I'm no longer working with them, and I'll be closing my account after eliminating all payment methods.
“ZERO / 5 star FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - use upwork.com instead!”
It's one thing having bad sellers on this website (which is not fiverr.com's fault) But another disaster for fiverr's customer service and quality control not being helpful when things go wrong. All I wanted to do is to leave a bad review to the seller of my bad experience and Fiverr wont allow although they made their nice commission in between. IF this site doesn't help BUYERS of services who do they help? Without buyers you don't exist Fiverr. For those of you who want to use this service please use Upwork.com instead. Tip for consumers:DO NOT USE IT. Go for upwork.com instead guys! the few bucks you will spend more will actually get you the right stuff and great customer service. “Copy. Color. Paste. Theft.”
Hired for a logo design. Every single "concept" provided to me was an exact copy from either an inspiration photo I provided or from elsewhere online (thank you, Google Image Search). I don't care what country you live in, or what language you speak. I DO care that you feel taking someone's work and passing it off as your own is acceptable. Absolutely not recommended.
“Good at Start but the rate at which they disable accounts is Whack”
It can be a good site for making money or purchasing a service. But the rate at which they disable account without investigation sucks. One minute you are a top seller, the next minute your account is permanently disabled. The cry is both for buyers and sellers, and do not even do conclusive investigations on any issue. They ought to do better, other freelance websites are becoming more attractive now
“Very horrible experience, not a single rating deserved”
My account was blocked when I tried complaining about an order cancelled 2 months after being marked as completed. They told me to refund the money. I was a great seller, giving customers great service (check the amounts in the photo). They found a non-existent reason to block my account and later blocked my access to Customer Support the same day. Fiverr is really a scam. Please don't use it. Tip for consumers:Please don't use Fiverr. You'd likely regret it. Don't believe me? No problem.
“My website was hacked by Fiverr seller”
I contracted one the seller to improve my website However I'm concerned because our website is no longer visible on Google or anywhere else. My google developer has asked me to give her half of the money by PayPal instead of paying Fiverr. She's ignoring me and not answering any of my messages. We are really worried, has any ideas how we can get our website back.
“Terrible site where fiverr connects you with people that don't know what they are doing”
I've tried fiverr a few times and the experience has been exact the same fiverr clearly hires unprofessional people that can't find work and fiverr provides support fiverr earns money the seller too and the buyer looses money and time no protection to the seller this is a true rip off, attached a picture where you'll see 42 messages back and forth with fiverr for them to end up saying sorry you lost your money...
“Fiverr is leader of cheater extracting money form clients”
**I paid Rs **₹8,186.97 for an order which was never executed. The refund I received is only Rs 5575. 68. What happened to Rs 2611. 29, almost USD 35? Is it the Fiverr fees through the seller for the cheating client? Almost all the reviews of sellers are purchased systematically making reverse payments. Tip for consumers:Don't believe the reviews of sellers, they are all purchased. Don't pay in advance. Confirm job details and delivery time. The best is avoid Fiverr Products used:Formatting books for KDP Amazon Almost all the reviews of sellers are purchased systematically making reverse payments. Service Value Shipping Quality
“Fiverr are thieves!”
In a nutshell They are thieves! Seller produced lousy work and revisions were worse, resolution request was obviously going to go in favour of the seller as they have a financial interest in them after seller refused cancellation. Fiverr were only interested in supporting the seller and his artistic opinions, even admitting to me they are not qualified in music or producing. The seller butchered a beautiful song which I was to cover. Fiverr refused to get my hard worked for money back, £361 to be precise. In my opinion I would stay clear of fiverr when you run in to creative problems with a Narcissistic seller, fiverr has their back all the way. You don't have a say when it all goes south and their interest in making their money through the seller far exceeds your customer rights. You'll end up exhausted, depressed and going around in circles until you buckle. In essence. You've lost your money and have no choice but to accept it! Give them a miss. Stay clear of Fiverr. Tip for consumers:Avoid Fiverr! Products used:forced to purchase Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Reallly unpleasant experience”
*Edit- I was able to get my money refunded and put back into my paypal account; for this, I improved the rating. * I picked an artist based on the image he had with his profile that demonstrated his level of expertise/work. What he offered after I paid was not even close; I requested to cancel the order and get a refund. He begged me to give him a chance to make it right. I really did not want to continue but I acquiesced and gave him a chance. I was right he still tried to beg me but eventually agreed to cancel my order. There are no features on the website show me how to get to my money or communicate with anyone. Links don't seem to work. The email I received from Fiverr did have instruction i was able to follow and received my refund within just hours of requesting. Tip for consumers:Request a lot of samples of their work. Ask if you can see what what material was provided that they worked from. It's extremely difficult to get your money back - it's left in the system as a credit. Products used:I signed up for an artist to create a cartoon rendering of me with my dogs in my sports car that I can use for marketing. I'm so upset with the outcome.
“Got scammed by Bailey (see photo with full name) and the other guy Cole web designer who was not gre”
Don't read the reviews! They only keep the good ones. Stay away from fiverr at all cost! No matter how much you try to resolve the issue you can not because fiverr is a company registered overseas! “Fiverr for freelancer”
This is the easiest way to get project done. Outsourcing your weakness can save you and your company a lot of valuable time and help you focus on your strengths. The pricing is super reasonable considering there are people from all over the world competing for your money / attention. You can build long term relationships and get pricing down if you continue to work with sellers.
“Tough Love”
Fiverr is extremely strict when it comes to following the rules there. It is expected that the terms and conditions are thoroughly read and that the rules are abided by. I have seen a lot of people complaining about the partial treatment in favour of the buyers so I'd like to address that. I have had a few issues with buyers as a seller there and I do not hesitate to contact support. I have experienced wonderful service and treatment from them and though the replies may be a bit generic, consistent follow-up usually gets you the answer you are looking for. I'd advise sellers to reread their terms and to thread the site with caution because of ill-minded buyers (that are also on every other site). In conclusion, Fiverr has been very helpful to me both financially and knowledge-wise (I am a college student, the extra money really helps). I hope my review helps and clears some doubts and questions you may have. Tip for consumers:Always contact the seller/buyer before ordering. For a decent experience, communication and instinct matter. If you feel uneasy or see red flags get another seller/buyer! Products used:I am a writer there. I have purchased writing services from other sellers there. Service Value Quality
“Fiverr.com Sales”
I use these people for many types of advertising including postings on Backpage and Craigslist. They are absolutely great and very cheap. You can't get anyone to do work like this for the price. JOHN S.
“Broken business model”
Apart from losers that have failed to meet any reasonable quality criteria and are now venting their anger over here, the platform is broken in many ways and often ends up being a waste of time for both sides. A successful conclusion is the exception!
“Not the place to look for creativity”
I entered fiver looking for some graphic designers with the skills to create original graphics based on our ideas. Despite the detailed explanations, the delivered work was based on stock photos, standard letters and banners that can be found even in MS Office PowerPoint. Zero creativity. A large number of the people announcing there seem to be non English speaking people therefore explanations area wasted. They reimbursed my money but made me waste time. Complain about being paid too little for the work but they are the ones that fix the price. I even sent the material in advance to the order to have them ( the creative designers) quote but they answered: order first. Quite frankly, not a good place to find good people. The worst part: we pay our creative people very well, even commissions over every item sold. This people announcing in fiverr didn't even asked or quoted. It is so weird. Not recommended.

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
