Is findtutors.co.uk Legit?

This website is an absolutely waste of money and time for both sides, tutors as well as students. I highly recommended to avoid it. There are plenty of serious ones out there.

Recently a long term year 11 student of mine was awarded a shield by her school for best achiever in Maths. Last year another pupil achieved gold in UKMT. I have 30+ years of teaching Maths and Creative Writing. I enjoy teaching Maths with my expertise on the digital platform.I have a bank of excellent resources for all stages of learning from primary to GCSE level.

Terrible website. As a tutor I have received lots of enquiries and customers from other websites but none from this one. When you set up an account you think you are applying for a job but then you end up on here.I have looked up myself and many of the details are incorrect and not what I input. Avoid, much better tutor websites out there

I have a total work experience of 20 years which includes 10 years of teaching preschool and primary levels in a physical set up. I am a passionate Literacy teacher. Have been doing online tutoring since covid besides my regular teaching job. I specialise in Jolly Phonics and Jolly grammar.

A really good platform to find various sources and areas of interest.A very productive and engaging site that helps connect tutors and students together but also potential employees to a company. A good way to start expanding an online career and reach out to new people.The interactivity and digitalism is easy and simple to use.

I really like how user friendly this website is and how easy it is to get in touch with potential students and teachers. I also like that we get emails for new messages! However, I would recommend working on the algorithm and better pairing students and teachers. Also it’s unfair that only profiles with rating are recommended to others…

I have been a teacher manager for a long time and I found this site so easy to navigate. Extremely simple and you could have your profile up within minutes. As teachers we are extremely busy already thus this made the process quite efficient and easy to navigate.

The overall process is easy and a lot quicker than other sites. My criticisms would be that your emails are a little unclear, and I felt like I was repeating a lot of the same information multiple times. I felt the same with your website when creating my account - it's a little unclear what information is going on my page/ad, and what's not

The process of setting up an account was so simple and easy and there was really useful guidance on what to do, what to offer and how to set out your information. Everything was quickly processed and I am very happy with the overall process!

Terrible communication. I sent them my application with my CV for an 'on-line, part-time tutor in cookery. I didn't hear anything from them until they sent an email which said that I hadn't received any ratings from present and past students. I responded by suggesting that I hadn't in fact been given any students to begin with. Their follow up email was identical to the first, i.e no student ratings. I have since learned that your details go straight up onto their website, I wish they explained the process in more detail UPDATE: received an email in Spanish which I responded to by telling them I don't speak the language. I then received an email to say that I had received a message from an interested student, but when I looked on my account there were no messages, still awaiting a response from the team

The website is easy to work and is user friendly, with a simple layout...However, I still have 'pending' 2 reviews from students who have already posted them up and have shown me screenshots of them posting it, but those reviews still do not show. I have 4 reviews but only 2 of them are visible, so this doesn't help my advertising and professional growth very much with this glitch.

Giving learners the chance to find great tutors and help, and helping tutors get learners. Filling in my profile was easy, facilitating the desire to complete and become connected.while it is understandable it is for UK people, I am from Berlin Germany and would just as easily work with UK students.Therefore an opening of the forum to international tutors might be a good idea.

The company website is clear, well laid out and easy to use. It guides you through each step and tells you what to do next. This positive experience has made me hopeful to continue using the service. Thank you!

The company helps the tutor personalise his/her services with the different tips shared at different stages of filling in your profile as a tutor. What I liked most is how creative they were with generating my description from what I had filled in.
