Is familygokarts.com Legit?

I ordered a 50cc trike on Monday Thursday it had not been processed so I called they tell me my scooter will be ready in 2025 it's September 26 2024 they will not call you back or answer email I would not buy for them motobuys.com is the best great communication

This gem is a direct quote from their site:"From a legal perspective, the federal government's Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) says flat out that no one under the age of 16 should ride an ATV."NOT TRUE - a very important word is missing - the CPSC says "Children and young people under the age of 16 should not ride adult ATVs." The key word being "adult".

Terrible customer service. Paid for scooter in full and having difficulty receiving title. They will not issue a temporary permit. Legally can't drive new scooter without license and title. They don't care. They won't give me tracking number. They won't reach out to manufacturer. I contacted State to help me and State reached out to Familygokarts. State employee followed up with me and said she was not treated kindly. Said "they just don't care". Don't buy here.

The delivery went well, the kart showed up ahead of schedule. You can definitely tell some of the components are cheaply made however. Th gas tanks bolts broke right off the motor so a new mount had to be made. Also the front end suspension is definitely not made for the abuse the machine is capable of. Plenty of power definitely throttle needs to be governed for kids use.

Got the TrailMaster Blazer4, but several bolts where missing. Two of the shock bolts had vibrated out and were lost in shipping. The steering wheel bolts were also missing. Bought replacements locally.These are minor issues compared to the fact that there is little, to no, assembly instructions.I had to go to YouTube and find videos others had made during their assembly of a similar TrailMaster Blazer.

TERRIBLE customer service, Jeff was somewhat nice until he received payment, then his secretary called to get more money for a "fee" (would only take payment over the phone as to not have record of the scam) then proceeded to tell me the product I ordered wasn't available nor were any others.Complete scam, dishonest "Company".DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM...

DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS SHADY COMPANY. THEIR CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS ZERO, AND THEY ARE LIARS. Free shipping consists of an access fee, a residential delivery fee, a fuel surcharge, and a liftgate fee that totals almost $200. They do not give you a Certificate of Origin with the shipment, instead you must email them and wait 3-5 weeks for them to get off their ass and send you something. Meanwhile you have a scooter that you can't use.If you ask to speak to a supervisor they refuse to let you speak with one.

Considering the nature of the world, online purchases feel like they're here to stay. With that comes the tough job of customer satisfaction. My questions were answered promptly regardless of the time of day submitted. Jeff was clear with his replies and very respectful. It was a pleasure working through him.

Fast shipping and Customer service was great with helping me to change the color choice at the last minute. Quality overall is good. Luckily we are mechanically inclined and did some upgrades on some of the parts. A few other minor things broke right away- we chose to just upgrade vs. complaining.

I purchased 2 Coolster 3125XR8-U Youth ATVs - one is running good and one smokes heavily from the exhaust(oil smoke). I submitted a help request to which I was informed that the engine is perfect when it leaves the factory and that the oil wasn't changed before start up or it was ran too hot. These machines were delivered to my auto repair shop in Trumbull CT. I have been in the auto repair business for more than 30 years and am a ASE certified master auto technician. I personally drained the engines and filled them to factory spec with Mobil 1 10w30 before starting. One machine (red) is good and runs great and the other(army pink) smokes badly as if a ring is bad or valve seals leaking. The help request response indicated that nothing would be done for warranty.

The entire experience has been enjoyable. Any questions or concerns were quickly addressed and resolved. They’re respectful and patient, two things missing in this go-go-go world. When the desired product fell victim to too much demand without adequate supply, a very good alternative was suggested and the monies already paid were easily applied. They have definitely earned my business.

We ordered 2 ATVs that arrived almost 2 weeks after ordering and paying in full. Had we known we would have to practically put them completely together we would have had them delivered to a mechanic. We are not mechanics and have limited tools and knowledge. The one ATV that did have instructions - they were so awful and hard to follow. The second ATV had no instructions at all and there were no videos at the website for it. Missing and broken parts. Submitted service request and no the courtesy of any response. We had to deliver them to a mechanic at a cost of just about $400 to get them put together and fix what came broken. Truly disappointed buyers.

I purchased the upgraded warranty when buying 2 scooters. One scooter is leaking gas all over. I have emailed for assistance and this has gone unanwered.The other scooter has missing parts. I have called and emailed twice with no assistance given. Very frustrated.

Excellent communication. Item arrived perfectly crated and was the first one of 3 for which I have purchased from other suppliers with no damage. Went together quick and runs and drives great. A bit lean as designed, Changed oil and spark plug to NGK. Above average transaction.

No instructions for assembly for the model I purchased. I was originally told to YouTube instructions, which I could never find. Responses to my calls were useless as I was sent to use their email service, which was horrible. No follow up at all. Very rude when I questioned the charge to my card. Luckily I have a nephew and friend who helped me to finish assembly. Would not recommend!!

Horrrrrible customer service!! Also fraudulent. Advertised free shipping then added a $89.77 “access fee” because I live near Boston. Owner Jeff hosted how good their service is during the sales process. Has since disappeared when I need help! The entire gas tank on my go kart came loose and fell of on day one. They gave me a run around about filing an online form and then haven’t helped at all! Scam and will be seeing this through

I bought a 50cc scooter from them in October of 2021. When the delivery driver came, he said he didn’t want to unload it because the shipping container was so damaged. After taking a look, I decided I didn’t want to mess with accepting the delivery and possibly having to return it for damages. I asked for a refund in November and am still waiting to receive my money back. This is HORRIBLE customer service.

The kids love their four wheelers! The assembly was a little Challenging because the instructions were vague and the wholes didn’t line up. The online instructions on your website were very helpful. The battery doesn’t give much strength, but overall we are pleased!

Horrible service. They took 7 weeks to send me the Certificates of Origin for 2 gas scooters that I had purchased. All they gave were excuses about the manufacturing company sending the certificates to them. Evidently they cannot print out the Certificates like other companies but have to request it from their suppliers, sit and wait for it to come to them then remail it to their customers. Other online companies print it themselves and send it out. Do not buy from them as your certificate will come to you almost 2 months later.

I purchased an ATV online a few days ago which included free shipping. Once the order was complete i recieved a call today saying i needed to pay another $200 on top of the $500 i already paid. I was told because i live in New York i had to pay more because of shipping costs even though shipping was free and their website states no such thing., I ended up cancelling the order. Straight RIPOFF

“Wish we would have read these reviews sooner”

Our gokart lasted 1 month then stopped charging. It seems like an easy fix…but because they have the actual worst customer service, we don't know how to fix it. “Great Bike but...”

The company is great and customer service was top notch... my only issue is there were no instructions on how to put this thing together. Luckily I am handy and had quads and bikes my entire life so it went together in about 2 hours... a. video or manual would have come in handy. Other than that... very solid bike!

“Poor customer service”

Purchased a go-kart for our daughters upon arrival, it was noticed there was a broken bracket. I contacted customer service and received an automated reply, but 3 weeks later I have not heard from an actual person despite multiple follow-up requests. Now, the headlights on the go-kart do not work - again, no response from customer service... completely unacceptable.

Bought a scooter from this company they for don't no how to pack anything to ship it when it comes all scratches also been waiting on my title for over a month and also paid for a lift witch cost $25 witch there was no refund for anything witch they said I would have to buy parts at cost witch is bull $#*! when its brand new (So i suggest stay away unless you want to get ripped off)

Bought a Chinese atv for my kids from this company. They had no problem making phone calls when it came to taking my $1000 but after only 2 weeks of use the atv is smoking. When I called to address the issue I spoke with a female who clearly had no working product knowledge who tired to dismiss the issue as "normal" (which it's not) She then refused to identify herself or position. Claimed it was "irrelevant". When I requested to speak to a mgr supervisor or owner I was hung up on twice. I was told that issues can only be handled via email and that support staff don't have telephone access, also that "they've been doing it this way for 30 years" I will be filing a credit card charge back request and a fraud report though my bank and local law enforcement.

Please if you value your money and sanity do not do business with this company or trailmaster who has the product shipped in from China. Purchased 4 seat adult go cart. Assembled as per there instructions. Would not start. Contacted them and had to take multiple videos before they could figure out it was wired wrong. Finally got it fixed and drove to get inspected for licensing. On the way back the wiring went up in smoke. Contacted them and I had choice of returning in original packaging which was long gone or they would pay to have it fixed. After months of one sided communication I decided to have it re-wired at a cost of $346.00 Even with their gold extended warranty they will only cover $160.00 which I haven't seen yet. Do not purchase from this company. One of their top sales customer service representatives has a known (and confirmed by management) attitude. I was hung up on after asking the representative why it seemed like she had an attitude and her manager confirmed that's how she talks and they have a policy of hanging up on customers who are uncooperative. **For the record, I was very cooperative but you will not speak to me or anyone in any kind of manner** End result... cancelled order! “Poor response damaged go cart”

The go cart arrived not secure in the crate with multiple areas of paint damage, missing bolts, mirror broke, speedometer not work and wired incorrectly couldn't start it until I traced the wiring issue two hours later this is not something an average person can build

Customer service is horrible! Checkout was a breeze paid for everything with no issue. After we found out order has to be confirmed over phone at that time we were told we needed to pay an additional $50, the woman who called was very rude, had no patience, didn't want to clarify why they were asking for more money and said we will just cancel your order and hung up. Clearly they don't need the revenue from sales.

I agree that the salesman was friendly when buying the bike. However, customer service after my purchase has been completely non-existent. We bought a pit bike for our son for Christmas, after less than an hour on the motor the bike started pouring oil from the air filter. We paid extra for "premium tech support" which has been nothing short of a nightmare. The "tech support" is a guy emailing back and forth, providing no technical insight whatsoever. I even called customer service, where the woman got an attitude with me as I told her I was unsatisfied. This purchase is a huge regret. Website says free shipping. Company contacted us to go over the order and said there is an extra delivery charge of $39.95 because we live in PA. $39.95 huh? What a convenient number. We cancelled our order and went elsewhere.

They claim to help you every step of the way. When I needed tech help with building the bike, they told me to email. Waited FIVE DAYS and the response I received was Don't forget to change your oil. Literally ignoring my questions. They sent the bill of sale in the wrong name, and there's more red tape to bust thru than a government building. Just awful. Never will I purchase a thing from BW or whatever they call their horrible company

We purchased a $1350 go kart from these people and also paid for the $200 extended warranty. We have owned the kart for 8 months and these is an oil leak in the engine. We have taken half the go kart apart in order to get their required pictures and video of the oil leak. It is clearly an poorly done weld on the body of the motor. They still refuse to cover the engine replacement required. I will never buy a single item from these people ever again. They are crooks. Buy local.

I bought 2 quads for my daughters for Christmas and bought extended warranties. The boxes came missing bolts a week before Christmas. I had to run around finding bolts that would work so they could at least ride them. Customer service was a joke and everything has to be done by email. One of the quads motor froze up after less than 3 hrs on it. I have been on the phone trying to get help on top of 20+ emails and still nothing 7 months later and my daughters have not been able to ride it. They have been rude on the phone and not responding to messages and I even bought the optional extended warranty for $100 ea. “Absolute scam!”

Ordered a go kart for my daughters Christmas gift. Zero communication for 6 days after constant calls/emails asking if the order processed. On day 6 they wanted more $. I agreed to pay as long as it was assured to arrive by Christmas. They said yes. I called stocking on day 8 and they Said they didn't even have what I ordered but to just "wrap a picture of the gift" and it would come someday. From day 1 on the order I said please do not process is gift can't arrive by Christmas (they had 30 days). After stating they did not have what was ordered I said just return my payment. They charged 80$ for a return fee for a product they didn't even have. Bad communication, lots of lies and theft. I placed my order on May 20, it is now August 6 and I still have not received my order and can't get any update from anyone at the store.
