extendedstayamerica.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives extendedstayamerica.com a medium trust score on the platform: 60.8. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Active. Medium-Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 60.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to extendedstayamerica.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Active. Medium-Risk. tags above. Long story short, we still see some red flags with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning extendedstayamerica.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between extendedstayamerica.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of extendedstayamerica.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of extendedstayamerica.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. extendedstayamerica.com is a problematic website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether extendedstayamerica.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether extendedstayamerica.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, extendedstayamerica.com.

No wifi AT ALL. If you want to go to a business meeting smelling like weed after walking through the halls, this is the place for you! The microwave in my room was filthy, no utensils, plates, soap or paper towels one would expect from an extended stay hotel (they provide no services or basic amenities; the covid excuse is a sham). No security cameras in the parking lot. I feel sorry for the employees that are left holding the bag. Management is pathetic and could not care less. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
i own my own company and was calling around for rates and the manager leanne was very great and helpful. I did book a room it was very clean and every one was very helpful while i stayed. It was one of the cleanest hotels i have been in. i will be going back
The front desk guy was rude. The hallways to room smell like animal waste. Bathroom was clean but no soap. Bed was uncomfortable, noisy, and I could feel the mattress coils. Pillows were flat and smelled like smoke (non smoking room). Clean kitchen but it had no pots, pans, dishes, utensils, or dish soap. No iron or ironing board. Exposed micro-closet with 4 hangers. Tiny kitchen tables with no chairs (staff confirmed we had to eat standing up as they provide no chairs in any room). No desk to work on, nothing to sit on. People staying here looked homeless: place felt like a shelter for homeless. Felt unsafe. Definitely not recommended.
Thank you Jeremy for hosting my one month stay while I wait for furniture during my relocation for work! Thecstay made my relocation a pleasure!! He runs a very tidy, safe, updated and modern hotel in north Portland. The staff is so very welcoming, hospitable, helpful and thoughtful.
stayed at Prov RI location. The most filthy facility I have ever witnessed. Carpets were disgraceful, stains from one end of the hallway to the other, furniture in room was worn & ripped, I have several photos. No breakfast provided, exception was an empty Dunkin Donut box in lobby. Dead rat outside door of front entrance. Several questionable people roaming inside & outside building all hours of the night. we left after 2 days and went to another hotel because we felt disgusted by the filth of this facility and unsafe. This facility is not a hotel, it is a rooming house and Board of Health should be contacted.
Since I have been staying here the management has changed and the new manager Pam has been making improvements to the property. My air conditioner was leaking, and maintenance came and tried to fix it and replaced it with a new unit promptly. The hallways have been nice and clean without the smell of marijuana lingering when you walk out of your room. Keep up the good work!
The new manager, Javier, came on board on Monday, August 5th, 2024, after 3 inefficient manager to 216 S Goldenrod Road in Orlando, Florida. We have a lot of smokers guests living on the property. These individuals took the front entrance as a "Designated Smoking" Area. Finally he took out today the "Smoking Stand" next to the dumpster. Now those guests had to move 15 feet away from the entrance to smoke. THANK YOU 😊
We were moving and spent several days in Scottsdale ESA. Thinking it was like LA Quinta with a kitchen and refrigerator we thought it would be convenient. In actuality kitchen glasses, cups etc were add ons you could get for extra, I told them after the first night we didn't need maid service just empty the garbage.and supply new towels. I was told if we bring towels to the office they would exchange them, there is no maid service and as a special treat the dumpster was behind the building and we could dump our own garbage. The TV only showed a 6 in square in the upper corner. The manager was quick to come to the room and apologize for what many guests who didn't know the secret way to turn the TV on without causing thus issue. It was entertaining however watching the roaches in the bathroom. I wouldn't put this on your must visit list.
My short stay at the Wyoming, MI Select Suites far exceeded my expectations. I know that extended stayhotels are somewhat different than regular hotels. The property is clean and well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. I will be staying at this hotel again.
I was told a certain rate per week.4 20 80% of everything in the motel did not work. The TV was broke. The oven did not work.. Eighty percent of the receptacles did not work... They said I was smoking in my room... Never smoked in the room... They charged me $700 $300.Saying I smoked in the room.... It's 85° outside. They have the pool shut down...
Very used, scratched and old furniture, the bedside table should be just dumpedSticky cabinet doors in the kitchen, front drawer panel missing in the bathroom cabinet, Bathroom absolutely unacceptable: black moisture all around the bath tub, tiles, under the soap holder.....No microwave, coffee machine, water heater, silverware/cups, not even in plastic. Very bad and used mattress, dirty floor. This is a so called long stay "place"(calling it Hotel is not correct) and customer expect to find it CLEAN with at list the basics. I paid $744.01 for one week....
I stayed at the extended stay elmsford for 6 months with my 6 kids and partner during my stay the Superviors AMANDA begin a very sexual relationship with my partner. This have caused so much emotional disfunction in my home my kids are father less. My kids are crying for him every night they don’t know how to process or accept this! Amanda as supervisor is trained to enforced policy well she didn’t imply them to herself. She deserves to be disciplined to the full extent
My husband and I stayed at the KC Airport NW Plaza location for 2-1/2 months. The staff, including Pam, Crystal, and the other ladies and gentlemen who help keep things running and working properly, made our stay feel like we were at our permanent home. We can't say enough about the friendly service, everyone made us feel welcome. We highly recommend this location, and plan to stay here again when needed. J&L
We stayed at the Durham, NC, location for our daughter's graduation at Duke. The hotel and staff were so horrible that I wouldn't allow homeless people to stay there. There was black mold in the bath, an almost useless kitchen, dirty, disgusting carpeting, no promised breakfast, a smoke alarm missing the smell of cigarettes, and someone tried to break into our room in the early morning. Disgusting! The good news, management did give us a complete refund.
Customer service needs major improvements. Get rid of bugs. Fix the issue like no hot water in shower. Housekeeping needs major improvement. Food under bed. This hotel doesn't deserve even 1 star. Other issues. To many.
BUYER BEWARE!! This place is an ABSOLUTE SCAM! I booked a room for 7 days to benefit a young lady who was kicked out of her family home. Two days later, we were able to locate a shelter that would accept her, so we checked her out. Upon receiving what I believed to be a partial refund, no folio was ever provided, I was told that we were charged a “re-rate” because we had checked out early and did not stay the entire 7 days! There’s NO WAY in hell I would pay the exorbitant rate that these folks charged me per day to stay at this “hotel”. I could’ve booked the damn Peabody for that rate! What’s worse is that NOTHING was evident that such “re-rate” action was even possible as we were booking the room. It’s a SCAM, and if this is how business is conducted it should be VERBALLY EXPRESSED to the guest upon arrival…NOT reportedly buried in some policy which I don’t see. Not only will I NEVER book at this chain again, I will make sure that everyone I speak to about booking rooms NEVER considers this SCAM of a “business” ever again!
Roaches in bathroom. rawling on walls switched rooms and still had roaches cleanliness 1/10 the room bathroom walls and refrigerator are disgusting I can't believe they are still i. business water leaking from walls trash box springs everywhere . this is the absolute worst experience ever cribs dead bugs everywhere I wouldn't want my dog to stay there
Newark Airport-Elizabeth NJ. My 17 year old daughter said it reminded her of “5 Nights at Freddie’s”. No one at front desk to check us in for 20 minutes. No bathroom on first floor. No airport shuttle until 7 am. Elevator stunk. Dark hallway. Counter in kitchen was damaged. Hair in bathroom sink. Broken lamp. Mattress raised when sat on. No outlets by beds. Breakfast was weak coffee and stale muffin. Check out was drop box for key cards. I canceled my reservation for return flight.
If I could give it a less than 1 star I would. The general manager Stuart at the Denver tech center location apparently does not train his employees how to check identification before handing out door card keys. I went up to front over my key not working and a guy walks up ask and received someones key hopefully it was his room.
Extended Stay America, Shelton, Connecticut is the most awful stay. IF you work nights and require sleep DO NOT STAY HERE! The guests I understand could or may be noisy at times BUT the HOUSEKEEPING OMG!! has absolutely no sound barriers what so ever. Dont bother complaining they get Louder!

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
